    Hi girls,

Thank you for your lovely well wishes

The FS appointment went fabulous!!! He went through everything is a lot more details than our old doctor and asked a lot more about our medical history etc. AF is due next week and we will be starting a natural FET, im very excited!!!!

He said to me that he wants to have a crack at just putting one embryo back this time and if we have no luck then he will try 2 next time... and we are the youngest patients he has ever treated!!! The only worrying thing is that he is sending DH for a Cystic Fibrosis test. Apparently this no sperm in your semen can be a sign of Cystic as it damaged the Vas Differens (sp?) and causes blockages

I look forward to jumping on the band wagon with you all again! xxx

Porsche – I think I O most of the time. But not always. Fingers crossed I do this month!

Me4ever – Hey. Welcome to the gang.

Vic – So exciting that you can do another FET. It was obviously meant to be what with the unexpected money coming available. Crossing everything for you.

Amy – There are a few of us doing a FET cycle at the moment. Really good to hear your new FS was helpful. Hoping AF comes soon and you can get the ball rolling.

AFM - BT tomorrow. Nothinig else to report. Hit the gym yesterday and again today - it is my saviour - feel so much better after worrking out. Want to thank you all for your support each day no matter whether I am up down or all over the place. Some days you have all been a real lifeline.

Here is hoping that April is a month of success for all of us and that 2013 brings us what our heart has been desiring for so long.

I have started with an IVF cycle this month, my first one. Am day 13 now and have been having all the injections, gonal-f and orgulatran. Am not so happy with orgulatran as most of you have had a reaction, not so much ichy, just sore and red around injection area and then the nauseous feeling afterward. After nr 6 of this injection it's not as bad as the first ones... Tomorrow I'm going back for another scan and bloodtest and am hoping for epu on Friday, which will give me some time to recover over the easter weekend. We'll see how we go. Am a bit nervous about that part.
Fingers crossed for all of us!

me4ever - sorry I didn't see your post on the previous page before
good luck and hoping your stay here is short - although we are all glad to have more company on this lonely journey.

    fX it's a good month!!

Hi ladies, just a quick me post. I had my US this morning, I couldn't see the screen but she said I look to have 12 good size follicles on my right and 3 on my left and a few more on each ovary that are to small to count so looks like we are full steam ahead. I feel so relieved that there is something there, I was having all these horrible thoughts that I was not responding. So for now just waiting to hear from the nurses and will likely be back for another US on Friday.

Mrs Mac that's great results, well done!

hello and welcome me4ever, I am also on my first IVF cycle and going in for egg-pickup soon best of luck!

Jane good luck with your blood test hun, and good on you for sticking with the gym

Amy I'm sooo happy you have an awesome new FS! Woohoo for FET soon yippee!!

Vic that's excellent news about the refund allowing you to do another FET!!! Yay! And sending you more good luck for bank approval too

Porsche yay for jabbing soon! lol

    Krikkit more your way lovely

Myturn I want you to get that BFP too! Are you still predicting next Thurs for ET?

AFM, ugh what an ordeal this morning was! 5 jabs and 2 hours later they finally tapped a vein and got some blood outta me
Ultrasound today showed my lining at 9.9mm and about 9 follies between 1.4-1.8cm so they're tossing up between triggering either tonight or Friday I think. I only have one shot of orgalutran left so will have to go back in today for some more needles if they decide to put it off for a couple of days. Eek it's all starting to happen now!

Here's hoping the Easter bunny is generous with a different sort of eggs for all of us

Ree*Ree - Wow, your lining is nice and thick. My FS likes anything over 8 so your really good to go. Are you feeling bloated and uncomfortable? I usually feel worse after trigger. Like I want to explode and then bigger again after EPU. Bending down to tie my shoes becomes an issue lol.

Mrs Mac - Its always such a relief when you know something is actually going on inside you Good luck for everything and we will all be stalking you.

Jane - I too have been hitting the gym and bike riding. I think it may be doing me some good as I ovulated on my own last month and on day 15 too. Usually (when I am ovulating) its around day 19.

Amy - So glad that your appointment went well. Did you decide to switch for any particular reason? I am sure you wrote it ages ago, but its hard to keep track

Hi to everyone else. I may do a cull on the list, as there seems to be names of people on there who have moved on or not getting a chance to jump on here.

AFM - Thanks to everyone for your kind wishes. I am stoked that we are trying again so soon. I had thought it would be months before we had a chance to try to grow out our frosties and the wait was doing my head in. I was very teary yesterday and DH was so freaking awesome about it. I cant believe how good he is to me. Whatever it takes to make me happy, he is willing to do. I am very blessed. He says at least doing it now, will give us a direction sooner rather than later. If no embies survive its obviously egg quality issue. I am going to ask about assisted hatching as i have read (thanks Dr Google) that is good for over 40's as the shell gets harder the older you get and the weaker the egg becomes and cant hatch. It makes sense I guess. It also says undergoing IVF meds can also make the shell harder and thicker. My clinic were happy for me to do another FET, so started taking Progynova this morning. I pushed for the transfer on the Saturday morning we are in Adelaide anyway and if all goes well, transfer should be on the 21st April. I really believe that the universe doens't want us to give up just yet. Receiving that refund yesterday when I didn't even know I was getting it was such a sign.

    Hi girls,

Vic - Our FS moved onto another clinic and to be honest we weren't that happy with her anyway. In the whole 2 years we had been seeing her we had only spoken to her 4 times!!! Our new FS is awesome, we were able to ask questions, he asked us lots of questions, gave us statistics etc. Do you mind putting me back on the list and just put waiting for AF next to it?

    Aim x

    Hi!
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!

I have had my last scan and blood test before the epu, which is going to happen on Saturday. Seem to have about 12 follicles with sizes ranging from 1.4 - 1.7 and the lining seems to be about 10.9 (which is a bit weird as it was 13 on Monday...) Can't wait for the last injections tomorrow morning and then of course the trigger injection as last but not least. I'm pretty nervous about the whole pick up, luckily my own dr is scheduled on this weekend, wouldn't have liked to have someone else do it...

Vic261 - can I be added to the list as well, as waiting for EPU and am CD14 I'm pretty sure

Sounds like there has been a lot of good news today. Feeling optimistic for us all.

My BT was fairly uneventful. Haven't O yet. So am back in on Sat for another BT and US. Hoping things keep progressing so I can transfer late next week. Crossing everything.

    Hi everyone!

Wow vic that is so exciting! It;s so amazing when you get money you aren't expecting but even better when you can put it to such good use!

Amy jellybean- I'm so pleased that your appointment went well and you seem to be getting positive vibes. Makes all the difference!

Lots going on... sorry I'm not really keeping track. Is anyone else in the TWW yet, it seems like lots of peeps are waiting for ET or transfer, is that right?

There doesn't seem to be anyone in the TWW thread so I'll just share my psycho babblings here if that's ok.

Hi to everyone else and welcome to me4ever!

AFM- I am 3dpo and on the pregnyl shots. Just the waiting game now... although I am not convinced I ovulated as I didn't feel anything and normally I do get pains after the trigger.

Vic- would you mind putting me in 2WW at 3dpo? Thank you!!

ReeRee you poor thing, im alway complaining to DH that i have crap veins but after hearing all your horror stories I am starting to think i have nothing to complain about . Great lining too. I had to go to a clinic closer to work today and they didn't let me see the US screen so not too sure how it all looked for me and 9 follicles is great, i cant believe how close to EPU hyou are. And i too hope the easter bunny is genorus with the eggs, i was laughing to DH the other night that the Doctor will have his own easter egg hunt if all goes to plan

Vic great to hear DH is being very supportive, and i hope the assisted hatching can give you want you want so badly.

Me4Ever way to go with the 12 follicles, good luck with the EPU.

Joeve yay for CD1, it always feels to once you start doing something again.

Hi to all you other lovely ladies out there.

AFM- FS call this afternoon to tell me that the nurse who did my ultrasound was wrong about my follicle numbers, I apparently only have 6 and all the others are way to small to both counting. But for now we are still on track for EPU on Monday so I will just have to wait and see how it looks after my US on Friday. Im hoping we are going for quality not quantity.

Wow to everyone with the great results and down the action end of the cycles - very exciting.

Vic - I am a total believer in signs and your unexpected funds allowing you a chance earlier than you thought is just awesome.

Everyone who is doing so well on the weight loss side of things - what a fantastic effort you are all making - congrats

I am so not up on the persies but am defo watching and wishing everyone well.

AFM Off OCP, AF been and gone, jabbing away. CD8 today, USS Friday.....not sure much is happening Multiple massive events at home and work topping this wonderful chapter off and putting my stress levels into the stratospheric zone. Not sure at all IVF compatible with my job......but what doesn't kill us makes us stronger, huh.

Big hugs to everyone Happy Eggie Easter!
