Emma, like the girls have already said, it really isn't that bad. I have heard of one girl who reacted badly to the drugs, but most are OK. For me the antagonist cycle goes so quickly, I've barely stabbed myself a few times and it's time for egg pick up! lol. Being knocked out for the egg retival isn't bad either. Like myturn said, they keep you chatting away and then you're waking up in recovery so it seems you've only been asleep for seconds.
