    Hi,

Thought I'd kick off the new thread.

Lisa - I have been on synarel for 4 months now and that feeling that I am not getting the full dose is still there, but blood tests show that it really did down-regulate so, I guess when you get the runny nose or you sneeze within 5 minutes of having a dose, you are still getting enough to work. I hate the taste, I always have to have a drink or something to eat ready for afterwards.

KitKat - wow that's a lot of info! I think I might copy and paste that in case I have those troubles down the track.

Everyone else - good luck with wherever you are up to on your cycles. I guess a lot of you are in your TWW - fingers crossed for some good news from all of you.

AFM - EC is looking like Friday. Needles are getting more painful every day, but apparently that happens as your estrogen rises, just taking it one shot at a time! Very dehydrated today, apparently I haven't been drinking enough, but I also don't have any other symptoms of OHSS yet. US today showed 9 follicles over 10nm (and 3 or 4 between 16 and 18), but my lining is getting towards the thick side (14.9nm) which could be a problem. Has anyone else had this problem?

Marcellus, is it just me or did that link just take me back to the old thread? I had to find this one the old fashioned way...

Minime, GL for Friday. My clinic tells patients to drink 3 litres/day of water once they start the injections.

Minime - thanks for you encouragement. Wow 4 months of synarel you are a trooper!!! It's wierd but the after taste reminds me that I probably have got the dose so I get a bit anxious until I taste that metallic taste. I can't help with your question about lining because I'm new to all of this but Good luck for Friday. I hope it all goes really well and you get some really juicy eggs.

    Hey Guys

So I was good and didn't succumb to a POAS test, and had my blood test today - and it's a BFP

HCG is 475, Estrodial is over 3000 and Progesterone is 24. Apparently the progesterone is a little low according to my nurse, but we're waiting to hear back from FS about this and if I need any more drugs!!

Thanks to everyone in here for your support.

I'm off to dinner with my DH to celebrate!!

oh babytruj what wonderful news hope your enjoying your night out I bet your just glowing...
AFM: am very anxious about tommorrows u/s had my bt this monring and haven't had a phone call so am assuming everything is all good otherwise they would have called to cancel the ultra sound.
I think I am just thinking the worst but after past experiences... Does anyone else feel like needles and nasal sprays are nothing out of the ordinary? LIke they are just part of your every day like it not an unusual thing...
Fx'd tommorrow shows a nice healthy lining still as i had a bit of a heavy period but pretty much gone now and still the three follies with the big healthy looking one. it's going to be a tense day tommorrow hopefully I get the results quick.

I second that Trueblue. I find subcut needles, nasal spray, blood test, etc, all standard run of the mill now. That's why when my donor pushed back the stim month by 2 months just in case she reacted to it (as she'd be going on hols 2-3 weeks later), I just wanted to exlain that it all wasn't that big of a deal. It's just like two annoying 'stitches'! (but then I only produce 1 or two eggs so I don't have an 'average person's opinion'!) Medical stuff's easy, it's the emotional rollercoaster that's hellish!!!

    Hi everyone,

Babytruj, Congratulations. That is fantastic news. Were you on any sort of progesterone support as I'm suprised it is so low. Would be interested to hear if they do decide if you need more drugs to suport the pregnancy.

HCG is 475, Estrodial is over 3000 and Progesterone is 24. Apparently the progesterone is a little low according to my nurse, but we're waiting to hear back from FS about this and if I need any more drugs
To the girls who were talking about Synarel. I found it hard to know that you were getting the right dose and my down reg scan showed that my "natural hormones are having a party" and I did have a lining developing though the nurse told me it was just within the acceptable levels so I could still go ahead.

I ended up with only one embryo fertilizing properly (1 fertilized with 2 sperm! had 3 sets of chromsones - any one else ever heard of this happening before? and one fertilized but only started growing with 1 set of chromosones so stopped developing. Two others which fertilized properly were allowed to grow for 6 days but never made blastocysts so weren't frozen).

Anyway I had bleeding last night - blood test tomorrow but doesn't look good.

Trueblue - great news. Good luck

Dreamrise - I am on progynova tablets - 4 times a day (I think 20mg each tab) so yet, I am on progesterone, but the doc e-mailed to tell me that FET can have lower progesterone levels. I am going for another blood test tomorrow to check them again.

Thanks to everyone else for the well wishes and support!!!

    Hi

    hello there tracey2010
i can sense your anxiety about starting your first cycle...the first one is always a bit scary as you dont know what to expect. (i presume this is your first cycle?) I have done quite a few stimulated cycles now and started off on a low dose fsh 150 then gradually increased to around 350-400 as i didn't respond very well to the lower doses. I imagine they will monitor you carefully with that dose, am sure you are in good hands.
just want to wish you all the very best...i hope you are one of the lucky ones who fall first go then you wont have to worry about all this again! let us know how you go, when is your first scan?
