Oh Minime - I KNEW IT!!! Now take it easy hun and make sure you give that gorgeous embie the best chance to keep hanging on. I remember my FS telling me to sit still, which of course I never do. This time I will be putting legs in the air for a few weeks (kidding - I wouldn't be able to feel my legs after a while). Very happy for you hun. Each successful step is another step closer!!!
Yogi - never too old for a disco!!!
Lisa B - I actually had some loopy moments today. I think I'm a lightweight when it comes to medicine. They reduced my Puregon to 125mg this time as I OHSS'd on 150mg!!!
AFM - sooooooo looking forward to my shot in the morning (ha ha ha). I wake up at 6:45am, put a freezer brick on my pinched fat to numb it and then DH injects. Can't think of a better way to start the day (I think I need help....)
Hello everyone on this glorious sunny saturday afternoon!!
Welcome Dinnie, porche, kass and Sarah (hope i havent missed anyone?) - i hope your next cycles are a winner!! We are all here to cheer you on and answer any questions you have. With regards to synarel - i HATED it, headaches and moody yuk! but hang in there with it cause its only a tiny tiny amount of time compared to the lifetime of love & cuddles from your bubba.
Mindhugs - lucky you having a Seaworld multipass! I reckon seeing that little baby dolphin was a SIGN for sure, more little bubs coming your way!
Loops - am glad you are sticking around with us, we enjoy you here. and hopefully you can announce your natural pg over the coming months...it can happen
Dreams - well done with the new job. you are so right, you just never know what is around the corner. if only we all knew WHEN it was going to happen we could easily get through this rollercoaster no probs. If someone told me it would take another 3 years of ivf and guaranteed a baby after then i would still continue to go on, but the unknown is so scary!
Kaybee - congrats on making it to the 2WW. Did you have 1 or 2 transferred?
Well, am happy to say i have 2 good looking embies back on board. They said they were both 7 cells (day 3) and one was even starting to compact. I was a bit worried at first as i thought they should be 8 cells - does anyone know what it should be? Just me being a worrywart of course...whats one cell right? unfortunately the other one divided abnormally, but in the words of meatloaf..."two outta three aint bad!"
So now i join the crazy 2WW train....look out girls hide your pee sticks!!
Have a good one! xxx
Hello ladies,
Hoping you have all had a good weekend so far.
Thank you for the congrats on the new job, it has brought a lot of relief to DH and I as it will make it just that bit easier when it comes to our August/September cycle.
Kaybee: Glad the transfer went well. Hope we hear about a BFP after the TWW.
Sarah: Sorry to hear the long TTC road has not been a very good one for you. Wishing you the best of luck that hopefully something positive comes your way soon.
Porsche: Thank you . How are things going with you?
Hope your appointments go well for you on Tuesday
Want: According to the dream dictionaries I own, Diamonds in dreams are omens of Good Luck.
To dream of being in a beautiful and fertile country denotes the very acme of good times is at hand.
Hopefully it brings lots of good luck your way and your dreams do mean something.
Dinnie: Welcome and wishing you luck with your IVF cycle. Hope you get positive results in the not too distant future. Looking forward to seeing you around the forums.
True: , wishing there was something I could say or do. Just letting you know we are thinking of you xox
Mind: It's true that one door closes and another opens, just wish more positive doors open for all the ladies in here.
It would have been beautiful to see the bubba dolphin. They are gorgeous creatures. Sounds like it was a relaxing day for you.
GL with the cetrotide, I haven't heard of it but hope it helps in your journey.
Loops: You can't stay away can you?
Hope things are going well for you at the moment and things get even better for in the not too distant future.
Yogi: Hoping the TWW brings a BFP for you and sending lots and hope it takes.
Sorry if I have missed anyone.
AFM: Just had a relaxing weekend, which was nice not to do anything. It's nearly getting to the point of counting down days until DH and I undergo our first ICSI cycle. Time is going by so quickly.
Thanks for the welcomes. I will most likely have heaps of questions lol. I still haven't O'd so I'll be talking to Dr DeAmbrosis about what we need to do. I'm sure he'll have a sugesstion or two lol. I'm guessing he'll put me on BCP first?
I hope the TWW goes quickly for you ladies. I rekon that is the longest time to wait through all of this.
Dreams - I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's appointmets. I'm really excited now. No more waiting it now feels like we are going to be doing something not just sitting on our hands IYKIM? Not long now till you start ICSI. While the days seem to be going really slow I bet they are flying by. I hope that mades sense lol.
Good luck to everyone who is pill poping, sniffing, jabbing, EPU, ET, FET and in the TWW!
Mindhugs - Naturopaths are always a good idea and if you can find a good one they will look at the overall picture not just the problem. I am sorry I also have no idea about this new drug. You will have to bring us all up to speed when you find out more.
Dinnie - I am sure by now you will have spoken to the co-ordinator. However I am told that I will be on the Synarel about 3 weeks. This is my first cycle as well so I am learning on the run.
Porsche - Remember to write down all the questions you have for the nurse. She will be able to answer so much for you and in my limited experience they are happy to do so. I rang my nurse the day after my appointment because I needed to ask the stupidest thing and she was happy to answer.
Dreams TR - I love your interpritation of my dream. I am hoping it is a good omen too.
I know I have missed so many people and I am sorry. Having trouble keeping my eyeballs in my head. I actually slept reasonably well when I did sleep last night. However I woke at 3.30am to use the loo and walked into a door (truly - DH isn't home til tomorrow night lol) and couldn't go back to sleep because of it. Bugger. So I am sitting at my desk pretending I am working and actually just trying hard to stay awake.
Hello ladies,
Again I have been MIA and now definately have a lot of catching up to do with you all after a few days.
Sorry I haven't done any persies (and sorry I didn't get around to doing them the other day either).
A lot goes on in a few days and so many people to catch up with.
Hoping we have more positive results soon.
GL to those in the midst of cycles and TWW's.
Sorry to those who have not had good news lately , hoping things start to pick up soon.
Loops: will miss seeing you around here but I hope things work out for the best for you and I hope we see you around sometimes.
AFM: As we know I was told last week my job will be finishing up in 2 weeks due to lack of funding and it got me down a bit, well anyway I applied for a job on Tuesday, 2 hours later they called me for an interview which I went to yesterday and today they called to say I had the job and start on the 5th July.
I think things are starting to look up for us again. The new job has already approved my holidays in September, which is when we complete our first ICSI cycle .
Ladies NEVER give up hope because you really don't know what's around the corner.
I hope great things start coming to each and everyone of you
Things seem to be all going ok in here (for now!).
Minime I hope your bleeding has gone for good - I've heard of something to do with blood vessels bursting or something in the uterus causing bleeding which doesn't harm the pg. God I hope that's the case with yours.
Mindhugs - best of luck for this cycle. I wasn't given any specific tips either - it's really annoying because we all want some guidelines to follow just so we can feel like we are increasing our chances. I basically try to live the most boring, healthy life I can while on an IVF cycle. Studies have shown that acupuncture can increase success rates by up to 60% - I'm giving it a go, but who knows? I don't think the drugs made me emotional, but my DH would say otherwise.
Yogi - you must be feeling great about your strike rate so far! Hope they keep on doing as they're told before being reunited with their mummy on Saturday.
Dreams - nice to 'see' you again and massive congrats on the job
AFM - had my transfer today - Yay - now I'm at the business end of the cycle. It all went well but guess we'll find out how well in a couple of weeks!
