to everyone having a hard time.

Kass, Nicoleh, I hope your levels start to rise, so hard to be this close and for things not to work out. Thinking of you both xx

SpringLola, that really sucks that your cycle was canceled You did give me a belly laugh the other morning, so thank you for that. We can be the crazy drug-free women together for now but I hope you can get some answers soon and try again

Ehm, goodluck with your scan this morning. You're a brave woman doing them back to back - try to get as much rest as you can, drink lots of water (I know I tell everyone this but it REALLY does help your body deal with the hormones) and fingers crossed it all goes smoothly for you.

Saffy, one more sleep until transfer. I hope your little embies are dividing and growing and getting ready for a nice nine month journey with you xx

Kaybee, good luck with the TWW. That's great news about your embie hatching - I've never had one of those but from what the FS said that's what we're all aiming for. Grow embie grow!!

Oneday, not long to go for you! Good luck for next week.

Hi Loops, Frugal and anyone else I've missed. Think I'm finally getting to remember eveyone!

Just lurking really, sending you all lots of and

I just got my results back, my hcg is now 9 so I have lost my BFP. I also got my other bt back from the GP and I tested positive for whooping cough, gp seems to think this may have been the cause of losing the pg.

Feel pretty bad right now, I know alot of you have unfortunately had this happen, it is really hard to take to know if I had not got sick this may have been a success. DH is taking this hard as well. I feel so physically sick and just can't stop bursting into tears. I am sure I will pull myself together when I start to feel better but right now it feels like things can't get any worse and that this is rock bottom.

I am hoping I recover from this to be able to cycle again in Dec.

    Hello ladies

I thought I would join in here as it's the start of a new thread. I've had a break from BB after a BFP with a FET that mc at 8 weeks.
I recognise some of your names from the 2WW Oneday and Kass and others from the LTTC after MC thread. Hello to Alice and Saffy. Congrats on the embies Saffy. Good luck with the transfer.
Nicoleh I'm sorry you've lost your BFP. I was devastated when I lost mine.
I'm back now and ready to try again. I'm waiting for AF to show up so I can fit another FET in before the end of the year. AF is due in 3 -4 weeks and I will have 3 weeks to get ready for the FET until the clinic closes for the year. FX she show's up when I need her.
    Best of luck everyone

Hi happybaby - sorry to hear about your loss. Good luck for this next round - hope af shows up on time for you!

Nicole - so sorry to hear that please don't be blaming yourself hun - I hope your dr also said that most early losses are due to faults with the embryo that you have no control over. Even if you had been 100% healthy it still could have happened.

(((((GBH))))) Nicoleh, I'm so sorry to read this and sorry you are feeling so sick on top of experiencing this loss and for your DH too. You can't help getting sick lovely, it happens to so many women and there seems to be a lot of the whooping cough going around at the moment, it's just one of those things and it is rotten bad luck and so unfair as if it isn't hard enough going through all of this TTC business without that happening I know so well how you feel. You will get through this though and things will look up again and when you are feeling better I hope you can try again. Take care x

HappyBaby, lovely to see your name, been thinking of you and wondering how you are going. I hope AF shows up and you can get your cycle in before Christmas. Good luck! x

Nicole there are no words to make you feel better right now, i was totally gutted when i lost mine. Let your self grieve as much as you need and your DH, i cried on and off for a week before i picked my self up and moved on and to be honest i still think about that baby nearly everyday and still have a cry sometimes. I know your prob asking why and what caused this but you have to know that it always happens for a reason and you are one step closer now to getting your BFP!!! Be kind to your self and treat your self to something nice you deserve it!! xxxxx

Welcome Happybaby are you going through westmead? Good luck with it all xx

Saffy - just wanted to pop in & wish you huge luck for today, have a nice uneventful tww with a great end result.

Thank you everyone so much for your kind words. I feel awful that so many of you have experienced the same thing as DH & I are going through. The fertility gods are cruel to us all - to finally give any of us BFP then snatch it away after what all of us go through. When I do gt some sleep with the whooping cough I jsut have nightmares about TTC.

Hope everyone can have a nice weekend

Thanks again ladies - you are all fantastic women and your support is so appreciated

    Hi Ladies
Firstly oneday ~ to ease your tension - nothing to worry about it normal to have spotting at that time - I did as well. If you're concerned, perhaps check with your nurse but it doesnt usually cause a cycle to be cancelled.

nicole and Kass ~ (((GBH))), I too know how it feels and Im very much feeling for you now. You will feel a little better soon. I also feel that my cold/flu didnt help my cycle - the timing really does suck!! Yes the universe is very cruel to us but testing our strength and we will get through. Hope you're feeling better soon Nik

SpringLola ~ love that quote - thanks hun

Happybaby ~ hi and welcome. Goodluck with this next cycle, FX'd all goes very well. Hope your time in here is short (meaning that in a very good way).

    Hope everyone is well xo

Thanks loops, i called the nurse and she said not to worry about it until its a proper bleed, she said if i havn't missed a day on the pill, it shouldn't come. I also asked if it was to come would the cycle be cancelled and she said not necessarily. So i guess i just have to wait and see. Please AF stay away

oneday- i spotted continually through taking the pill, its a pain, its just breakthrough bleeding though, they won't cancel anything.

    Hi ladies

Haven't been on for a while and will try to catch up with as many of you as I can

Saffy hope that this is the one for you and your little embies are getting ready to snuggle in.

Oneday try not to stress my GF went through the same thing and her cycle went ahead like the other ladies and nurse have said its nothing to worry about

Nicole so sorry to hear your news. It just doesn't seem fair but like some of the ladies who have now gone on to have babies have said at least at that time even though it was painful it did bring them a step closer and they knew that their bodies would eventually get there.

Loops hope your enjoying your time off.

AFM I have my EPU tomorrow morning and then going away for a few days to relax although I know I'll still be stressing about how my little embies are going. We are aiming for a day 5 transfer this time which will be on Saturday. I'm excited as I've never done a day 5 and each time I have had a day three I've always worried that my embies were dying inside me before getting to day 5.

Saffy ~ thanks for asking about me Im pretty good despite no baby. Two day5 embies, sounds great - i'm feeling positive for you.

Oneday ~ I think you will be fine though - look forward to your up-coming EPU, for you

Terry ~ goodluck today, thinking of you and for you as well. Enjoy your 3 days off and relax. I def think day5 are the best because we did day4 this time which didnt implant at all and at least when we did a day 5 they knew it was good quality and it did implant (just a shame it didnt stick around). But yours will, all the best hun.

Hi to everyone and hope you're all well.

AFM ~ happy and proud of my DH who got a new job - truck driving. No more milking cows for him, he'll be transporting them instead - he is rapped. And I am doing weight watchers and losing a bit of fat. We are just trying to enjoy life and our finances are nearly back on track as well

dumb question- I'm in the tww can I get my hair dyed at the hairdressers this week????
Hope so, I have grey regrowth++
Its probably better now than later (assuming I get a bfp- big assumption I know) right??
Hi looops- good for your DH you sound happy x

Saffy, my acupuncturist/TCM doc says hair dye can stress your liver and affect your hormone production so I left mine - regrowth and all - til after my bt but really, I can't see how it'd make that much difference so maybe see what the others say.

Loops, good news about the new job for DH and well done for loosing some weight - hope you're both feeling a bit better. Glad your finances are recovering too!

Terry, good luck today, hope the EPU goes well and you get a lovely day 5 embryo to transfer. A few days off sounds good.

    Hi to everyone else. x

    Hi Ladies,

I haven't been around much since transfer - I was trying out a new coping strategy! Well, I just POAS - I never normally do, I usually wait like a good girl till the big BT- but my bro and SIL had their baby yesterday and I was feeling very jealous (immature, I know), so I thought it would just be easier to go and see them if I knew that my baby was snuggled nicely inside. But it aint. BFN. The test said it was accurate 5 days before period is due. Mine is due in 2, so it wasn't too early to test.

Good luck to you all xx
