creeping in to send sympathy to Maruschke - I found the orgalutran VERY itchy and it built up under the skin in a lump and was sore and red - but as I was taking it at night, it was fine by the morning. Hopefully it will be the same for you.

good luck to everyone else, I hope you're all feeling well and there are a bunch of BFP in here soon
    creeping out...

Good luck Maruscke, hope the scan went well.

AFM my AF is due anytime from today to 12 days down the track. Actually sort of hoping for a longer cycle this time as I haven't got my paperwork back yet from Vic Police. So still waiting, waiting.

Janie FX she turns up at the perfect time to get your cycle underway before Christmas .

Jo - what are you doing this cycle? Starting clomid yet? FX for you... I really hope you get that sticky bfp very soon and can avoid all the AC crap.

Well the scan was good (albeit a little painful). 9 good sized follies between 13 and 15 mm, with a few smaller ones. Will scan again Wednesday, stimming and orgalutran til wednesday night, then EPU friday afternoon. Whoop. Please please please let me have a sticky baby for Christmas. If we get a bfp our 6 week scan will be Christmas eve and that would be the most awesome Christmas present ever. EDD would be 17th August, the 10 year anniversary of my grandfather's death.

Great result M!! Sounds like you might be able to get a couple of good embies from this cycle!

I must say you're very keen working out scan dates and EDDs and the like. Anyone would think you really want this or something

    everyone else!

12dp2dt and a bfn on a FRER this morning so I am definitely out back to the drawing board for me...

Thanks everyone. I know it's not a lot of eggs but we didn't want many, so for us it is a good result even though for others I guess it could be kinda disappointing. I feel positive for the first time in quite a while. We've relented and we will fertilise them all and see how we go... the FS says that for one EPU cycle, 50% of women take home a baby, and of those 50% only 5% have excess embryo's for their needs.

I am having different thoughts now about embie donation than I did prior... I can see it as a wonderful gift to someone and I am not as against donation now as I was prior to starting this. Especially with our m/c's, I wonder if the best interest of the child isn't to have a go at life with someone else with a better chance of carrying to term. Sorry for the sensitive issue, I hope I am not offending anyone just letting my thoughts wander.

I was wondering how I would feel if I donated an embie and the child was born and later contacted me and asked me why I donated rather than carrying myself, and I was worried I would sound selfish. Isn't that silly? I know there are so many good reasons to donate. Anyway, that's off topic, and I really hope I haven't offended.

Maruschke, thats a good/normal number for antagonist, my two stims I had about the same number of follies and got 10 and 9 eggs at collection. I don't think theres anythign to worry about at all, number-wise, they are better quality in antagonist too, so FX more will fertilise- GOOD LUCK!

marushke - sounds like a great follie number to me especially as they are all around the same size. Hoping that you actaully get to have the dilemma about embie donation. We only want one more child so would donate any if we had excess but my freezing rate is so low that may be a luxury to have that choice to make.

N2L - so sorry about BFN - that really really sucks. Where to from here?

Janie - My police checks were back in less than 2 weeks I think so shouldn't be to much longer for you.

AFM - my scan today mirrored Marushke's fairly closely! R ovary 17 follies with about 4 b/n 12-15mm. L ovary 19 follies with 6 b/n 9-15mm. I often get about 17-20 eggs at EPU but not many make it all the way to day 5 blasts. We have only ever had 1 to freeze so I don't get excited by egg or embie numbers anymore - sounds jaded doesn't it?!
My lining was only 5mm which is crummy but again fairly typical for me. Would be nice to get a good suprise at one of these scans. Will await E2 levels when called later today
Quite likely my EPU will be Fri too but prob won't be decided until after scan on Wed.
Also saw a haematologist today which my FS wanted me to do in case he could find some, as yet undiagnosed issue causing the m/c's poor implantation. I've had nearly every test there is to have but he still found a few more things to warrant yet more blood giving - twice in one day, aren't I lucky!!

Just curious, do I need to sink the needle in as far as it can possibly go before I inject the fluid? Ta

Do you mean for the orgalutran? yes I would push in to full depth of needle.

    Hi everyone

Im off to my fs today and feeling a little nervous so thought I'd post in here and try to get out some of the nervous energy! I'm hoping for good news and that I can get in to have my lap done before Christmas (Im likely dreaming on that one I know). I feel like this is all just another set back and I want to get into another cycle of jabbing - never thougt I would say that when I was first told that was what I'd need to do to ovulate. Oh well either way it will hopefully be a chance to get some answers and find out what the fs has in mind.

Maruschke - hope your follies are getting good and ready and the perfect eggy is in there waiting to become a sticky bub!

Saffy - hopefully you are getting through your tww ok and moving towards a sticky bfp.

N2L - I was sorry to read that you got a bfn. Its just not fair. I keep thinking that you, Saffy and Maruschke have been around for a while so its def your turn. Wish it was like lining up and waiting to be next, at least we would know that we would get there eventually. I hope your next cycle is the one. It must be really hard.

Myturn - are you doing another cycle at the moment? Where ever you are at I hope it is all going to plan.

Hi to all the new faces since my last cycle. Hoping to be back in here soon and getting to know you all.

Meredith - great news about the scan, but I can understand that you no longer get that excited by it. Praying that you get your sticky bubba this time. When is the haematologist coming back to you?

Marushcke - great results on your scan also.

N2L - I'm so sorry to hear about your BFN - you are at MIVF aren't you? Who do you see there (I am there also)? Do you know what the next step is for you?

Keta - Good luck today - let us know how you go.

    Hi Myturn and Jo.

AFM - well everytime I am feeling a twinge I think that AF has arrived, and as I am still awaiting my Police Checks, I don't want her here - at least not until I have those forms in my hands! Once I receive them I will be wishing AF to be here sooner - oh the joys of LTTTC! You are either wishing AF was here or wishing she wasn't.

    Hope everyone is well.
