Thanks :D the lap is on Wed 30th. I have had one before and Im the same its the annesthetic that does me in. Thankfully it was only some slight shuffling with work for Wed and Thurs and Im hoping I can go back on Friday as I have clients, but if worse comes to worse I will put them over to the following week. You must be so happy to be getting a cycle in before Christmas M.
Yep very happy. Usually the clinic only does down regs but they let me do an antagonist this cycle because we wouldn't have fit it in otherwise. I would have been OK to go back to work on the Friday but luckily for me my lap was on a Friday so I had the weekend to recover.

I'm still jabbing 3 x daily, plus all the other pills,vitamins etc so must be a real ****tail party going on in my body right now! Feeling bloated and tender but all bearable. Just want one good eggie (perhaps 2 for a back up if thats not to greedy!!) in all that lot.
Haematologists rooms called today to say I need to go back on thurs to discuss my bloods so I guess there must be something going on there. Just hope its not to exciting or likely to make me despondant about this cycle given we are already commited with a bundle of eggies.
Jabbing 3 times a day? Wow! I don't envy you at all. I am feeling fine, wouldn't even know I was stimming if it wasn't for the meds in the fridge taking up space :). Scan tomorrow, no BT.

A few of my follies have fallen away :( only 7 now, 6x17 and 1x21 mm, trigger tonight 10 pm for a 10 am Friday EPU. Is 17 really big enough to trigger? I am kinda worried about that. Going with ICSI to make up for the fact we have fewer follies, and the FS said that DH's last SA was quite "borderline". Trying not to think too much.
EDIT - I can't get in to see my acupuncturist until the day after transfer. Is it worth doing it before the transfer? Is the next day too late?
EDIT again, this thread is so quiet! Just did the trigger, we are all set to go! Looking forward to a med free needle free day tomorrow!
HI Marushke - haven't been able to get onto the computer till now.
Your 7 follies sound really good - anything over 15mm is capable of producing a pregnancy so 17 is just fine. Remeber they will also continue growing a bit until EPU.
I've had a few cycles where I've got quite a few more eggs than expected likely because some grew on quite quickly in the last 36hrs after trigger.
I have always had my acupuncture just before and just after transfer but ask your acupuncturist what they think about the day before or after. Can't they squeeze you in on the day? I've used two differeent clinic and they always slotted people in when it was transfer day - even on weekends. Could you try somewhere else?

I'm on your tail with my cycle also. Yesterday's scan showed over 20 follies now on L ovary (13-19mm) and a few less on R... eek! Lots are on the small side though so prob only get maybe 10 mature eggs. Lining has come up to 7.3mm which is good for me,so happy with that . Had my trigger at 10.30pm for a 12.30 Friday EPU.
Also just been to see haematologist who has found all sorts of changes to my white cells probably indicating some strange immune disorder. Whether this is linked to my m/c's who knows but certainly could be. I'm having some other test done but it can take 1-2mths for results. In terms of TTC he just reccomends adding asprin to my current clexane and prednisolone concoction so not sure its going to alter things to much but just hoping something just "works" this time around.
Meredith I hope it goes well, and FX adding aspirin does the trick. Your lining sounds great now :) . Any idea why your EPU is 38 hours post trigger? I thought 36 was norm but I am very new to all of this :).
We are definitely going ICSI now... spoke to the FS and since 0 from 3 fert last time he thinks we need to use it, especially with only 6 or 7 eggs. FX :)

Well I'm back from the EPU & it all went well. Doesn't really feel like I have anything done. Would you believe I got a load of eggs this time - 23. The most I've ever had is 9. I hope it means a positive result this time.
MeredithD and Marushke I'm thinking of you now. Hope it's all going well.
Saffy yes I threw myself into the cycles this year. It's kind of disturbing when EPU becomes like an everyday procedure.

Happy baby wow 23 - well done that's a great haul! Glad you are feeling good.
I am in recovery now, collected 7 eggs, so feeling pretty OK. Physically feels a bit like period pain nothing much worse.

We got 33 eggs today ( my previous highest has been 21)........ YIKES!! I am a bit stunned but not overly excited as I can't imagine they could all be mature enough to fertilse. Guess we'll find out tomorrow.
Needless to say I am very tired and more than a bit tender!
We will also be doing day 5 transfer on wed. Just hoping there are some good enough to freeze. We've never had more than 1 frostie even though a few still make it to day5/6. My clinic is REALLY strict on freezing crieria. Used to upset me but I've also been grateful that those that do freeze thaw really well and have resulted in BFP.
Off to curl up on the couch now...... grow all those embies out there for the three of us....grow, grow!

We did just standard IVF - DH's swimmers are great (of which he is very proud!) - its me with all the issues.

Just got my nurse call - out of my 33 eggs, 20 have fertilised and they are still watching 8 so I am very suprised and happy with that. At least my old body can still do something! I would be quite content if we even got 2 frosties out of that lot - much as I hope we wouldn't need them because the fresh transfer might stick!
Now the waiting begins... wait for day 3 call... wait for day 5 transfer... wait for the dreaded BT. Time to get busy girls!!
We got 5 fert. I guess that is OK but 5 seems a bit low to me. Waiting to see how many make it to day 5... getting and update monday day 3.

I got the call yesterday and 16 have fertilised which means we should hopefully get 4 good embies. We're going for day 5 as well so Wednesday is transfer day.

I usually end up with a quarter of the number of embies I started with. The quality hasn't been the best for the last two cycles. Usually almost a blastocyst and a morala.
I'm praying all three of us gets one good embie that turns into a baby!

Got our day 3 update.
Of the 5 that fertilised, we have one 4 cell that is unlikely to make it, one 7 cell also unlikely to make it, 2 compacting 8 cells and 1 compacting 10 cell. Arrgggh nerves. Last time we didn't get any fert at all so I am happy that we have at least something.

Great to hear things are going well with Maruschke, Meredith and Happy baby. You all sound like you are going to have some great embies. It is also awesome that you will all be in the TWW together - nothing like sharing the craziness!
AFM - well we have had a delay with my DH's police check. Mine arrived back on Friday, but the sent DH's back as none of the ID we sent in has our new address on it! We only moved a couple of months ago. Anyhoo I spoke to a lovely girl at the Police and she said to just send a certified bill with his name and the new address on it and they will get onto it urgently. They said that IVF checks are always at the top of the list, and because we have already sent in the paperwork/payment he will be at the top of that list. Argh! So frustrating, but the positive is that I am now on day 36 of my cycle and AF is not here. So it looks like I am on one of my longer cycles this time which could be 40 days long. So keep your fingers crossed for me that they get everything back to me by the end of the week. If we get a December cycle in my transfer would be anywhere from 19/12 to 30/12 depending on the length of that cycle.

Marushke - I know as numbers dwindle it may seem scary but it truly only does take 1 good one. Even if you had one goodie to put in and 1 to freeze - thats still as good as my best cycles despite starting with well over 10embies!
Janie - Hoping that police check gets back ASAP and AF holds off just a touch longer!
AFM - feeling much less bloated today which is a relief. Out of our 20 fertilised, we now stand at 17 still going on day 3 so praying maybe we even get 2 frosties ( can only hope right ?!)

I have my transfer at 1.30pm tomorrow - the latest I've ever had I think but my FS wants to do my transfer and is doing at end of surgery. I'm happy to wait for her as she has given me success in the past. As of this afternoon, 2 of our embies have stopped growing but we still have 15 possibles so I'm cool with that. I'll feel much more at ease when one of them is tucked away inside and I hear if any are suitable to freeze.

I'm Cd3 of another FET, my last one as I will have to do a stim next year if this last emby doesn't want me- fingers crossed for a xmas present.

Saffy, we decided not to do back-to-back because of Christmas (We have 20 + coming here for lunch and DP didn't want a potential bfn upsetting us both). But, if my body behaves, I May be able to fit a stim in starting the last week of December.
In the meantime I am upping my exercise, trying to shift some kilos and stuffing myself with supplements....I take 17 tablets in the morning, plus 10ml of uterine tonic and then another five tabs and more uterine tonic at night!
