Belinda, it was great to catch up with you too... will have to do it again some time
Spotting could mean implantation.... try and rest before they call you, it's not over yet.

Well Ladies, as suspected it's a BFN for me as well. So I too will be climbing back on the horse and riding it for dear life this month!!! I'm feeling ok, no tears just a little ****ed off. So, first injection will be thursday.
Hope you are all doing well. Nicole have you heard from clinic re your levels?

Ohh crap Belinda, I'm so sorry
    AF your such a witch!!
Try and strong and know that it will happen for you....the best thing I found was doing a back to back cycle.
Easier said than done, but keep away from questioning why this cycle was not successful and focus on the positive end result...

The clinic rang and said that my oestrogens level is 594 (responding well on 50)
I have an appointment at 7.15am tomorrow for another blood test and u/s.
Other than that one more injection tonight at 50.

Take care Belinda and my fellow musketeers..... that this is the month for all of us

So sorry to hear that Belinda... And of course AF shows right after your BT what a B*#$^! Hopefully this next cycle is the one.. As awful as it sounds, just take this last cycle as a practice run and remember practice makes perfect!

Good luck with your BT & US tomorrow Nicole.

    Belinda,
Babes I am so bummed for you. God that af is a bugger. It is such a pain that she showed up after the blood test. I've had that happen to me a few times. i wonder if its because after the blood test you relax a teensy bit and then she rocks on in. I hate it when she does it though.
Hey Nicole tommorow we are ultrasound buddies as well as jabbing pals. How funny is this. I was telling my df about you and you and i being at exactly the same time in our lives he thinks its very funny and ironic.. So tommorow we get a poke and a jab and then to top it off maybe a shag. Sounds delightful dosent it? Welcome to the world of ivf...
Paula,-How are you feeling chicken? Hope you had a fun weekend .. i'm sure to be following in your footsteps in the next few days. decided to spice things up a bit so went and waxed the badger. I thought df is gonna love this... Then i thought"Oh my god, what is the ivf nurse going to think tommorow?" How embarrassing. Me and my bright ideas. oh well he's still got the beard-maybe she won't notice. At least i didnt dye it pink as well. She has probably seen everything anyway. How did you go with your commando dishwashing?
Girls never forget to keep your sense of humuor with all this. I know sometimes (Belinda)it must be really hard to be positive. but look at the great big picture. Chin up;ass out. Bottoms up;muskateers

Well i went in to the clinic today to have my first Pregnyl injection as i hadnt been shown how to mix it all up and it wasnt as bad as what i was expecting. The nurse told me it would sting but it didnt so that was a relief.. So next one due on Friday and then another on Monday! Pregnancy blood test is now booked in for Monday 7th April. The countdown is ON!!!!

Dh and i are going away this weekend so it will be nice to be able to relax half way through our TWW.

    Hi Girls
Thanks for the kind words. I'm more dissappointed than upset, but I have to admit I did have a good cry last night. But it wasn't because of the negative bloods. I had the most intense AF pains I have ever experienced in my life. I never get pain anyway, but this was just plain wrong!!!!!!! It felt like someone had their hand up there and was ripping everything out! This pain came on suddenly and lasted for a good 5 hrs straight. Nicole and Polly, was Af anything out of the ordinary for you last time round? I'm actually wondering if it had anything to do with the pregnyl injections, considering these injections are tricking your body into thinking it is pregnant already. Will have to ask the clinic on Thursday. The pain as died down today, but every so often it gives me a quick, short reminder it is still lurking!!! And I also have quite sore BBs! Very odd.
Polly, you crack me up!! When I read your post all I could picture in my mind was that U tampon ad with the girl and her badger!!! I think you should have gone pink!!!!!
I'm off to Canberra for work this afternoon, so will be offline for a few days. Polly and Nicole, good luck with US and bloods today and if tomorrow is 'go' day, the best best of luck for you both.

    Hi ladies,

This thread has very much become a de facto chat thread, where we already have a few general chat threads within the LT forums. As such, I'm going to close this thread now as it's drifted way off the original topic and ask that you lovely ladies please catch up with each other in the regular chat threads from now on.
