    Hi girls,
We are all a bit down aren't we? I know I am. It's hard to be positive all the time, we are all bound to go through the negs sometimes.

Saffy- if clomid isn't working it's nice to know there are other options. As Tammara said, maybe you will feel relieved, rather than resigned, if you decide to do IVF. I also found that although Acupuncture didn't help be get UTD, I felt much better when I was getting it and had a more positive frame of mind knowing I was doing something positive for my body. I'm considering going back to it, for the relaxation time!

Julia-Dh and I had a month off after I had my op. We even DTD at a time when I couldn't possibly get UTD! Oh my! What scandal! It was nice actually to not have to worry about all the other stuff. "Is this close enough to o?" etc. Your lap is coming up fast! Hopefully all goes well, and you get UTD straight after! I've never heard about the royal jelly thing, but I might give it a go. Can you take it with other meds?

Porsche- Thanks for the info on Green tea. I'd not heard about that either. With all the things they tell us to do or not do, it's no wonder we think about TTC 24/7!

Linda- I'd DTD every day. A few forums I've read said after months of TTC, they DTD every day around o the month the fell pregnant.

Claudette- hope your feeling a bit better. Can you contact your FS to ask about your dose? Maybe you can sort it out over the phone? (My FS prefers to consult over the phone about things like that anyway)

AFM- Operation 'change entire life' is underway. I've gone on a strict low GI diet, started Metformin, started Gonal f injections by the end of the week and scans every few days to check I don't overstim my ovaries (poor dears, they're been though so much!) Also trying to find time to work, exercise, be a good mum and wife, stay sane etc. Also start some sort of blood thinner stuff after o (another injection!). I've had to start a diary purely for this stuff! I've given this regime 3 months to work or I'm giving up entirely. My sister said she'd donate eggs for IVF if mine are dud, so that's nice to know if we get to that.
    100 days...I can wait that long...I think!
    Have agood night girls,
    Bec

    Hi everyone
Firstly I have to apologise for all my wingeing over the last 2 weeks. No one posted anything which upset me - honest! I was just feeling a bit down and emotional - must be the clomid cos i'm not usually that crazy! Was cryin last week cos there wasn't anything tasty in the house to eat!!
Anyway, was away with my bf for a lovely weekend and have booted myself up the bum. There are so many folk less fortunate than myself! We just have to stay positive. It was really nice to get away and eat out and have a few drinks without thinking -'i shouldn't be drinking etc!'
I've started using the OPK this month. Who knows? Least I'll know if I have ovulated.
So sending positive vibes to all....
    Claudette x

    Hey all,

Bec - My goodness, no wonder you need a diary to keep tabs on all that! Best of luck! I have gone back to my diet too! Don't know much about the Royal Jelly thing.... I am going to the Naturopath next week so I will ask her about it. I was going to go back to acupuncture but I think he will want me to go back on the herbs as well & I don't feel like doing that atm.

Claudette - I bet the Clomid is making your moods go haywire - I certainly know the feeling & was taking the lowest dose! GL with the OPK's - I used them last cycle and it showed I O whereas in the past I got nothing....

    Hi to everyone else

    Hi girls!

RhiChiChi- what does one actually do with the royal jelly? Eat it? Or use it on strategic parts of one's anatomy? Sorry for my ignorance, I guess I could google it myself!
I'm glad you are having a relaxing month prior to lap.

Claudette-you haven't been whinging at all ( or if you have, that means I have too )Anyway, thats what we're here for, to prevent us letting it loose on the outside world. Although saying that I screamed at my mum yesterday over nothing
Glad you had a great weekend, I drink when I'm not in TWW otherwise I would go insane.
I love OPKs, they are v helpful

Bec- you are a legend to take such an approach, I wouldn't have the strength, good luck with your new regime, I'm sure it will give you success! My sister offered her eggs to me too, hope we don't need them but its good to know some fresher eggs are available

Tammara-thanks for you advice, I do agree about the stress off weight of the shoulders thing

Porsche-will investigate the green tea thing as well, at least thats easily available x

AFM- was a right clomid head yesterday, feeling better today even though it is v dreary outside. I am guessing this is another side effect of clomid but when I looked in the mirror last night I discovered my face is COVERED in pimples, I'm 37 for god's sake!!

    Hi Gals,

Well I went to the FS this morning for a scan and it looks like the Femara is doing its job. I have one reasonable sized follicle on my left ovary and a few little ones on my right. I have to go back on Friday for another scan to see if the left follicle gets bigger. Apparently it isn't quite big enough yet.

But at least we are on track.

And my boss sat down with me today to see how I was going. He was very encouraging and letting me know that I should not let the stress of work get to me as it is just a job and I have bigger more important things to concentrate on. I feel so blessed to be in the workplace I am and with my immediate supervisor I have. I know it is going to make this journey so much easier.

Well ladies, I hope you are having a good week. Even though my experience with all this has been limited, my last week on drugs has made me appreciate what you have all been going through so much more. I have so much admiration for you and wish you all the luck in the world.

    Hi Ladies

Nellym - I have a very easy boss as well. If I need time off then that is fine. And quite often she doesn't make me use any annual leave or sick leave. I really do have a great job. I'm very lucky.

Saffy - I loved you question about the royal jelly. It made me have a chuckle. The things we all do hey? Crazy.

AFM I've got EWCM for the first time on my own. No clomid lol. DH and I are TTC this cycle even though it is after our M/C. But I'm not really trying IYKWIM. I'll just be thankfull for a non medicated cycle so I can get AF sooner so we can really start trying.

I'm doing my OPK's atm so I think I might get a + one today. FX anyway. I have a tender tummy as well which is a tell tale sign for me. I'm a bit excited actually.

Hello and Good morning to all of you.

Tammara: I dont mind if you post updates on here but as someone else said, thats just how I feel. It gives a bit of hope. lol.

Linda: GL with catching that egg this cycle.

Porshe: GL with your possible change of game plan. As others have said, hopefully this cycle will be your cycle and you wont have to change.

Bec: Good on you for being strong and letting your FS know exactly what you wanted to give a go. I am not on Bloold thining injections but I take 100mg of aspirin. That is mainly because I suffer DVT though. GL with your new game plan. I know it is easier said than done, but try to stay positive.

RhiChiChi: Sorry, but I have never heard of Royal Jelly

Claudette: Hopefully you are feeling better now after your relaxing time away.

Saffy: I know exactly what you are saying. Since being on Clomid I have been getting horrid pimples. It is so annoying.

Nellym: Thats good news about follicle. GL with your scan tomorrow.

AFM: I am now in my TWW. Although, I must say, I am not feeling too confident this time around. Maybe I'm just getting myself ready to deal with the disappointment. FX though that it wont be disappointment but ecstatic joy. I go for my 21 day progesterone blood test on Monday. Hopefully OB will be more satisfied with the levels.

Wishing everyone the best of luck. Keep that head held high.

    HI girls!
Saffy- I'm glad I wasn't the only one who had trouble getting onto the site. I tried for ages last night but to no avail. I had convinced myself that BB had deliberately blocked the site from my computer...I think I'm a little paranoid! GL with the TWW. I'm a bit like you, I just try to ignore it!
Porsche- Yah for o ing without clomid!!! Hope this is a good sign for you hon, you deserve it. FX
Ahurani - So glad levels look good. Did you ever think we could get so excited about a little egg hatching itself? lol
Hope- Hope the BT reveals great levels for you. Let us know how you go.
Nelly- GL with the scan tomorrow. I start that routine in a week or so. Hopefully there is a nice big juicy follie ready for o! FX for you.
Porsche & Nelly- It must be great having a workplace with so much support. At my work I have a few closies who know most things, but the big boss knows nothing about it because he's not overly family friendly.
    Hi Rhi! Hope you're well,
Hi Linda- hope you're now TWWing too!
Hi Claudette, how are you feeling after your break?
Shout out to Keli, Mez & Tamarra. Hoping life is good for you all

AFM: Not a lot happening here. I've started the Metformin. I had the worst stomach ache the first night, but since then I've been careful to take it after dinner and I've been fine. Anyone ever heard of people getting really bad headaches on it? Not sure if it's the Metformin or my Coeliac disease playing up. I get my BT to see if levels are back normal after m/c tomorrow and if all is ok, Gonal injections start Saturday! I'm actually quite excited. I'm hoping that my cycle will be a bit shorter than when I was on Clomid, 37 days is a long wait! But what will be, will be I suppose.
Quick question: Has anyone else found this website from a Belgian doct called Yvonne Wilson promising pregnancy within 3 cycles for woman with PCOS? Just wondering what your take on it is. My insticts say 'Fraud' but my hearts says 'if only...'

    Have a great night,
    Bec

    Hi Bec

Yay for oing all right lol My tummy is soooo tender even more so than when I'm on the drugs hehe. Good luck with the jabbing. I can't see myself doing that even though I might have to.

I haven't hear of that web site before. Now I'm curious though.

Finger crossed for all the o'ing girls

My last scan was last friday and was good, baby looked like he had lil frog legs lol so cute - oh and im calling baby he because hubby is convinced so i have noticed im saying he - better than it

My Gp has refered me to a specialist for the pregnancy because of the problems ive had, im pretty happy at this cos if there is going to be a prob i would rather be in the hands of a specialist. Still have not noticed any movement from bub but i dont know what to look out for. I am FINALLY starting to relax and really enjoy everything now cant wait for you all to get your BFP's.

Oh Bec i feel your pain/discomfort with the metformin it is horrible when you dont eat, hope its settled down for you. ive not heard of the website but i too think too good to be true, its upsetting when you read these things but there is always a catch

Saffy, if you get a choice of nurses to talk to ask for sue stevens she is so lovely and very good at explaining things to you also i have dealt with charlot.

Im about to freeze my bum off so i think i will get into bed. Hope your tww are kind to you sll xxoo

    Hey all,

Sorry that I have been MIA for a few days, just taking a step back for a few days (can't stay away too long ;P)

Saffy - I think you eat Royal Jelly, but I am not too sure..... I haven't bothered looking into it anymore since I am off to the Naturopath next week. I got breakouts from Clomid too - mainly around my chin/side of my face....

Nelly - great news about the follie. It makes such a difference whilst ttc with great support - makes it less stressful hey?!

Porsche - Great news about the EWCM & + OPK - you never know what will happen hey whilst ttc (I mean that in a good way of course)

Hope - Best of luck with your BT - I hope your levels are good.

Ahurani - Great news! Fingers crossed for you

Bec - The Met sometimes knocked me around when I was on it for a short time, but taking it at night time definately helped. I am a bit sceptical about those websites - unless referred to me by someone I know & trust somewhat. I would trust your instincts, sometimes our hearts get in the way of sound judgement.

Tammara - Gosh can't believe you are in the 2nd tri already - ticker is moving along nicely.

Hello to everyone else - I know that some will be lurking

AFM - Nothing to report here.... just waiting for my lap appt.

    Take care all, speak soon

RhiChiCHi- I actually went and got some royal jelly esterday, so I have taken it for 2 days. I did some research, it is to improve the quality of eggs but takes about 3 months to kick in so that should tie in well with my ivf. I was a bit hesitant at first because the [package has all these warnings about how it can cause anaphalaxis but I'm not allergic to bee stings or polen so thought I'd risk it. I have got little vials which you poke a tiny straw into and drink like htat, it is very sweet and quite disgusting but oh well, hopefully it works!

    Hi girls

Thought I'd pop in to say hi and see how you are all going. I'm truly wishing you all the best of luck and hope your long awaited bub is just around the corner. Fingers crossed for all you ladies in your 2WW.

Tammara - can't believe you're in the 2nd tri!Glad you have been referred to a specialist so you can get the best care.

AFM, we're 11 weeks now and I had the blood test for down syndrome yesterday. My scan is on Monday week, so once we get that done and the test results back I think I'll be able to actually feel a bit more relaxed that this is really happening.
