Hi ladies, thank you for the warm welcomes!

becnxavi - nope not my first round.... my 8th! Hence the high dose lol. I did fall pg on clomid at the start of 2009 but lost my little boy at 21 weeks due to a placental infection so I know I can do it... just need a little help. Thanks for the info, still having pains but definately think I o'ed yesterday as I had a really sharp, caught my breath type pain in the arvo. I hope so anyway.... DH is starting to look at me weirdly when I suggest dtd again
GL for the next three days - stay strong!!! Fingers crossed for you

Ahurani - GL with the clomid, just a tip I've found that reduces the side effects is I take it at night. Seems to work for me anyway!

tammara - thats great news, I hope everything is ok for you.

Hi to everyone else, thanks again

    Hi all,

Welcome Koby! You will certainly find alot of support and information in this thread. I hope you get your BFP soon!

I have been ttc # 2 since Oct 09, so not as long as you (nor the others lovely ladies) but I certain hear & understand your frustration.

We aren't saving for a baby - I have alot of stuff from DD # 1 that I will use & have kept ALL her clothes. So, if we have a girl - no probs. If we have a boy, well I have some neutral stuff for newborn but will have to buy clothes. All our nursery stuff is neutral b/c we didn't find out what we were having. I know I definately spent all of the baby bonus ($3k at the time) on nursery furniture/pram etc... I have read somewhere that the approx. cost of raising a child is $4k per year, so $10k would be about right when you add it all up

AFM - Off to the Dr's today. Have shocking lower abdo cramping / pain since Monday after DTD and it is getting worse. I usually wouldn't bother to go, but something tells me I should. Am on CD 19, so don't think it is O or baby related (too late for O, too early for baby)?

    HI girls
welcome Koby! Hang in there, provera can be a pain, but once AF arrives at least you can count your cycle! I always hated not knowing when AF would turn up (or if). Clomid has fixed that.

Aries: So sorry to hear about your angel baby. This is also my 8th round of clomid (this time round. DS is 3 1/2 and was conceived after 6 rounds of clomid), and I've lost two angel babies in that time. I wish you every bit of luck that this will be your time. There's is only so many times you can smile and say congratulations when another person announces they are UTD! My sister conceived the first month we were trying (July 08) accidentally and they are now planning another in the next few months, and I still haven't had my BFP! life can be so unfair, hey?

AFM: 2 days to go and I crumbled and bought a HPT, which came out negative. I kind of knew it would, but the waiting is driving me nuts! So i fully expect AF to arrive on Friday as planned. Oh well, maybe next month...

    GL to everyone else!

    A Very long post, sorry

    Morning Ladies,

Wow I just pop out for a few days and so much is going on.

Tamarra, so excited that your levels are still rising. I am more than happy for you to stay on this sight, you are not the usual UTD and ready to gloat lady. You are a Very LTTTC, just like the rest of us, so I would love to continue to hear all your progress.

Bec, Sorry to hear you think AF is going to arrive you sound like you're in pretty good spirits about it though. Fingers crossed for next month then.

Rhi, how did you go at the doctors? I hope all is ok and that this is not another complication for you, GL, let us know how you went.

Aries, Welcome the this wonderful forum that has saved my sanity. Wow your 8th round of clomid? That's massive. So sorry to hear you lost your little bub last year, that must have been awful, I am very glad that we have never had to go through that. We have been TTC since Feb 07' so just over 3 years now, it can be a really long road cant it? GL, I hope you get your BFP very soon.

Koby, Welcome to you also. GL I hope that AF comes very soon for you. One of the other ladies said to take Clomid at night (best advise ever). It reduces so many of the side effects. Hope you get your little bundle of joy very soon.

Mez, not long for you now, I have everything crossed for you. I have a really good feeling about this month for you, don’t know why I just do. How's the symptom watching going, ha ha!

Porsche, Hope all is going well for you, how did your follow up appointment go?

Jess85, are you still out there love? Haven't heard from you in ages, hope everything is ok?

AFM: Well I WAS very excited about this month as I had a really good feeling, but not sure what to think anymore. Firstly I have no idea how long my cycles are at the moment could be anywhere from 28-35 days so I either have 1 more day to wait or up to 8. As I’m sure you can imagine this is very frustrating. Also…I had a small bleed on Friday night last week, it was full deep red in colour but was only 2 small amounts. I have never had this before and therefore don’t know what to think of it. Not sure if it’s a good or a bad sign but I’m thinking it’s a bad one. Has anyone experienced this before? Implantation isn’t a deep red colour is it? Also I have gone up to 100mg of Clomid this month to help try to conceive before IVF could this have anything to do with it?

One more thing, DH and I went to see FS on Friday and will be starting IVF at the beginning of May unless of course we are UTD prior, fingers crossed.

So sorry about the long post, I just had a lot I wanted to say.

GL to all the 2WW’ers, and I hope everyone gets there BFP soon than expected.

    Hi Keli

I can't help with your questions as I was on 50mg Clomid and I've never had implantaion spotting. FX that it's a good sign for you and you can forget the IVF. But great that you have a plan to move on to if you so need it.

I haven't had my follow up appointment yet that is for this comming Monday. So nothing to report lol.

RhiChiChi hope all went well yesterday at the doctors.

    Hey all,

I second what Bec said about Clomid fixing cycle dates. Mine used to be all over the place but come CD 29 AF shows all the time now

Keli - I have never had implantation bleeding, so I am not 100% sure if it can be deep red. Google/search for implantation bleeding & it will give you a run down of approx times when it should occur etc.... Sorry to be vague

Bec - Sorry to hear that this cycle was a no go for you. I wish for it to be different, for all of us TWWers

Just to let you know that my symptoms have settled down & I am walking around 'normally', not hunched over & clutching my abdomen. Good news is nothing seemed to come up in the bloodtests, bad news is that it confirmed that I am not pg So, another round of Clomid down the gurgler. One more round then back to the OBS/GYNO. I am thinking maybe the pain is endo related since it started after we DTD?? I dunno though, just clinging onto something, anything!

Hi to everyone else, hope you are all well

Hello to all you lovely ladies

Hope everyone is well and those in the 2WW are not trying to find someway of fast forwarding the universe to 14DPO (but if you do find a way then please let me know as I'm going crazy waiting to see if AF arrives!!!)

Keli - it could be implantation bleeding???? I hope so for you! Like you, if we don't conceive by May we'll be starting the IVF journey. Let's hope neither of us have to, but at least we know that IVF can work - just look at Tammara getting her BFP on the first round! That gives me so much hope.

bec and RhiChiChi - sorry to hear you didn't get a BFP this month - my fingers are crossed that it will happen for you next cycle.

AFM I'm 9DPO now. I haven't had any signs and believe me I'm looking!

    G'day!
Rhi, I'm glad you are feeling better and hope it was nothing serious. Sorry for the no BFP this month, fingers crossed next month will be the go!
Mez- hope you manage to hold out for the next few days and we hear some good news from you! Hopefully you won't need IVF.
Keli-I hope the bleed is a GOOD thing! You never know, it was around the right time for implantation bleed wasn't it? GL!
Porsche- GL for the appointment monday. I'm sure it will all go well.

AFM- Even though I know I'll probably get AF tomorrow, I haven't totally lost hope. I keep fooling myself into thinking I just tested too early! Ah, the things we put ourselves through?! Anyway, I'm totally obsessed with getting pregnant next month becasue I'm determined to have a baby before the end of 2010, and next month will be my last chance with my ubber long cycle (37 days this month!). Maybe determination will win out? Who knows...lol

    Have a great night everyone,
    Bec
