I did another test even before I'd woken up properly this morning and it's not a dream, I'm still UTD and the line was darker than the previous two days! Porsche - I think I'll stop at this one, although I am tempted to do a few more lol. I tried to figure out my due date and I think it's Thurs 25 November as we conceived on Thurs 4 March. I think you count 38 weeks from conception date...does anyone know if this is right? I know they usually say 40 weeks, but I think that's counting from the first day of your last period. I O'd on day 19 so it's a bit more than 2 weeks. Anyway, I guess the FS will tell me. I'm going to see him in 6 weeks and he'll do a scan then so I'm everything is OK. I've booked into to see an Ob 2 days later (I've had him picked for the whole time we've been TTC so it's nice to make a legit appointment!).
DH is still shocked. As you know when you've been trying for so long you kinda expect disappointment each month, so now it's hard to get our heads around that this is happening.
Don't know how I'm going to keep this a secret for the next 12 weeks. I told my yoga teacher and she surprised me by saying she thought I was UTD on Sunday morning in class because I was a bit 'out of it' - I didn't even know at this stage!
And it won't be long to Keli, Bec, Rhi and everyone else who pops into this thread will be joining Tammara, Porsche and me. It's gotta happen, it just has to! Laps, clomid, IVF...they are all little miracle workers that give us that helping hand we need.
Keli - hope the clomid craziness doesn't affect you too much in the next round. GL!
Bec - I completely understand where you are coming from. Trust your instincts and if it feels like all the testing is interfering too much then see if there is another option. I think one of the reasons we conceived this month is because we made a real effort to relax around O time - lots of massages for each other and trying to reduce stress etc.
Rhi - hope AF isn't too nasty when she arrives - stay strong :-)
And hello to everyone else - good luck anyone to in the 2ww.

LOL that is great news. I think I got addicted to seeing the 2 lines come up.
Yes your most likely right about the dates. They say 40 weeks from LMP. FF told me from my O date but that was the same as from LMP.
Hi everyone, just letting you know my hcg results were in the 12,000's so im happy at this and my progesterone has gone from 24 to 31 so that is also good
glad your still UTD mez

Keli, we seem to be quite in sync. I start Clomid Thursday too, although my cycle is usually about 35 days becasue I 'o' late (about day 21ish). That extra week is very annoying but no amount of acupuncture, clomid, chinese herbs etc seems to make me ovulate like a normal person! Oh well, glad to have you as a TTC buddy.
Rhi- how are you? AF turned up yet?
Thanks for your support everyone, sorry about the whingy post last one, I was feel a bit down. You guys are a great support.
this is a non baby post but just something to make everyone smile at my expense lol while reading becx post i thought she said "That extra week is very annoying but no amount of acupuncture, clomid, cheese herbs etc" lol helps if i actually pay attention to what im reading
Hi everyone
I hope it's ok to post on this website - as I live in Scotland. I'm sure someone will tell me if I shouldn't!
Anyway, I have spent the last few days looking at previous threads and feel like I know some of you already. My story is very similar to so many - and it actually makes it a little easier.
I have just started the 3rd Clomid. The 1st resulted in pregnancy but then I miscarried at 6 wks. I suppose it was a positive that something was working.
It's good to see so many pregnancies on this site recently - gives the rest of us hope.
Looking forward to hearing about more.
Best wishes to all x
Welcome Clamgee, I'm sure its ok for you to post on here, I don't think it matters where you live, well it shouldn't anyway. Yes I know what you mean about feeling like you know everyone already, I was the same before my first post. This is such a wonderful site with a great support network for us all. I'm so sorry to hear that you had a miscarrage that must have been aweful, but I guess you are right too in saying that at least you know you can get UTD. Enjoy the site and hopefully you have a short stay here and get UTD very shortly. Can I ask, how long have you been TTC? What is wrong? Sounds like a rude question I know but I think you'll know what I mean.
Rhi, yeah it sure has been a really long road so far. Well DH and I have been looking into IVF so we may be starting that soon, but we will continue on Clomid for a few more months yet as this is only my third cycle since the lap so fingers crossed we get lucky soon
Hey Mez, so glad to hear it is all going well. How exciting that you will get to benefit from your yoga classes now also, that must be wonderful I cant believe you have to wait 6 weeks to see FS, isn’t the anticipation going to kill you? Maybe you just have more patience than I do. GL anyway. Keep keeping us posted. Love it!
Great results Tammara, fantastic to hear. And thanks for the chuckle on the cheese
Bec that is hilarious, my cycle on clomid has seemed to be 35 days also, it has only started changing since I had my lap. I do O a little bit earlier than you though I think. Yey we are so in sync buddies now. Hopefully we can both get UTD this month and then be preggy buddies too, woo hoo how nice would that be?
AFM just waiting to start Clomid tomorrow, feeling quite down at the moment. All will be ok though.
