my gosh you sound like a right druggie! LMAO!
So its kind of like up the nose away she goes? Lol! My husband would find that more than amusing ... he always jokes around when those nasal spray ads come on tv or the radio, i can just imagine the jokes he would come out with for that one!!

*sigh* at least he can see the funny side of all these drugs ...
i am sure you ladies would feel the same as me when i say i am so frustrated that we have to see docs/take tablets/injections/nasal sprays to have a baby! But there is nothing more we can do about it now ... just have to get up and get going ... -Vent Over- Sorry about that! I feel better now!

    Hi Ladies

With all the stuff I'm on it's a wonder I'm not off my tree lol!

Epayne - Yes the sniffing has something to do with IVF. From what was explained to me yesterday it puts me into a menopuasal type state. It clears the pituitary gland from hormones so we can start to stimulate multiple follicles.

Miss Kris - Yes exactly. It's just as if you were doing the whole decongestant nasal spray lol. But it's all for a good cause. That's not the half of it though. DH had to give a sperm sample yesterday lol He had to go off to the little room they have there and produce the boys lol. He said it sucked hehehe The room was about the size of a toilet and had a chair and a basin. Very romantic hahaha. And NO LUBE he was most upset hahahahahaha.

NO LUBE! Poor man! lol! I think i couldn't help but giggle if my man has to do that! He would be most devastated lol but they have to do that ... they don't have to get internal ultrasounds *shudder* and every other thing they stick up your hoo haa to get a better look! lol

OMG Ladies, talk about LMAO, I have spent the last 15 min’s ****ing myself laughing at you two (Porsche & Miss Kris) I am literally crying. Between discussing the fact that Porsche is now a druggy, and her man didn’t have any lube, and Miss Kris’ Hoo haa (which is a term I have not heard in years) I have thoroughly enjoyed the read, thanks ladies!

Porsche, on a more serious note, you poor thing, you truly do sound like a druggy. Reading what you have to do brings a lot of memories back for me as we were booked into start IVF in May, I remember being told all those wonderful things I was going to get to do to my body and thinking, why me? You sound like you’re coping very well hun. Your poor man not having any lube, how rude. They really do get the easy part though don’t they? Regardless of who’s bodies got the issues. So glad the ball is rolling for you, sooooooo exciting to think you could be UTD within the next few weeks, fx’ed!

Frustrated, are you still out there love? Where are you? How are you? How far along are you now? You must be so close. Please pop in and tell us all the goss.

Miss Kris, thanks so much for the laugh. How dare your GP look down at you for being young, I was 21 when we first started TTC and was almost 26 when it finally first happened, so despite the fact that you are young now it can take forever to conceive. Regardless of your age, when you’re ready to be a mum, you’re ready to be a mum. GL and I hope you get a much better response from your FS. Oh that would be wonderful to have lots of BFP’s all close to one another.

Liz, no we’re going to have a surprise at the birth for the sex of bub’s. We’ve just gotten to the place where it really doesn’t matter so why find out. I think I’m having a boy though, just for arguments sake. You’re right, your time will be just around the corner and the whole TTC journey will be in the past. Fx’ed AF shows up soon.

Hope, vent away, that’s’ what this site was created for.

Glad to hear you all have a sense of humour at the moment.

porsche i love the way you say produce the boys lol its such a man thing, my DH believes (he will kill me for putting it out into cyber space) that he has hybrid sperm with three tails LMAO he said when the time is right they will "drill the crap outta your ovaries" lol i then explained how it really works but he doesn't want to know. He is so wonderful like that, just saying and doing stupid things to make me laugh and make this whole journey not so stressful ... i am a bit of a stress head.

So glad we made you laugh Keli! I think my DH is right in keeping this light. It stops the negative thoughts coming in to plague me ... though sometimes i know ya just need a bit of down time to cry things out and feel bummed. Its what helps you get through the next little battle.

I've been cacking myself laughing! I just wanted to say hi, really. Chucking big hunks of at everyone.
Porsche- keep on sniffing hon, hope DH has recovered from his lube free adventure!
kris- I still feel like alittle kid at the FS and I'm 30! I know what you mean, they can be so superior, hey?
Keli- glad all is still well. You're stronger than me, I found out at 20 weeks with DS, because I just couldn't wait!
Liz- hope AF arrives so you don't have to move your appoinment. What a bugger!
Hope- sounds like you have some big decisions to make. We are always hear to vent to, hon, so don't apologise! Can you travel to your potential new closest city and just get an idea if there's anyone you might see? :hugs:
AFM: clomid finished and surprised everyone by being decidedly 'in the mood' this morning if you get my drift. Maybe it's a promising sign! Now the wait to o begins. I'm thinking I've got a good 2 weeks...damn long cycle!
I'm off the bed, I can hardly keep my eyes open.
    Goodnight lovely ladies!

Hey all, sorry I have been MIA. It is DD 3rd b'day tomorrow & we are having a party on Saturday so I have been baking and cleaning my house amongst other things.

Bec - How are you going on clomid this time around? I tried looking into the 'old' egg theory but it was more around egg quality that I found

Hope - How'd you go with your Gyn/OB about booking you for your lap? I guess the positive by having the lap is they can tell you if anything is going on down there that shouldn't & hopefully be able to fix it. I have the same thoughts that you do about going down the IUI/IVF path.... I want another baby but to what extent?

Keli - 14 weeks - time is flying past! All is well after the lap - took a little bit longer to recover than I thought it would & I ended up getting some stitches removed as they didn't disolve properly & were 'pulling' a bit. But the incisions have healed well, although my belly button looks a bit odd! Not on clomid this month, so not sure if I will O or not but we'll still ttc prior to going to the FS.

Porsche - I have been stalking the other thread, so can keep up with what is going on with you there plus try to get mny head around all the terminology and stuff that goes with IUI/IVF etc.... I haven't got anything to say in there yet but will post again once I have been to my FS appt.

Kris - I am sure all with go well with your specialist appt. It is hard not to be sceptical/pesimistic when we have been through such crap. All the best & KUP.

Liz - Sending you AF vibes.

I'll probably be MIA again until next week, so take care all & hoping to see some good news from some of you soon. x

    Hi All
Bec and Liz, thanks so much for the advice on what to expect. Hope you both get BFP soon (and everyone else on here too!)
This may be a stupid question but what does AFM stand for?
At the moment I am still waiting for AF to arrive. Since starting Metformim my cycles have been regular so I am not sure what to think of this latest hiccup. I am temping as well and have had an increase 7 days ago that is still elevated. I am hoping that I have just cycled late but I after 16 months I am wary of getting my hopes up.
My DH keeps telling me that when we do finally get our beautiful baby that they will be perfect as we have done plenty of practice (lol sorry TMI).
Hope we all get BFP soon.
    to all.
    Shan
