OMG Ladies, talk about LMAO, I have spent the last 15 min’s ****ing myself laughing at you two (Porsche & Miss Kris) I am literally crying. Between discussing the fact that Porsche is now a druggy, and her man didn’t have any lube, and Miss Kris’ Hoo haa (which is a term I have not heard in years) I have thoroughly enjoyed the read, thanks ladies!
Porsche, on a more serious note, you poor thing, you truly do sound like a druggy. Reading what you have to do brings a lot of memories back for me as we were booked into start IVF in May, I remember being told all those wonderful things I was going to get to do to my body and thinking, why me? You sound like you’re coping very well hun. Your poor man not having any lube, how rude. They really do get the easy part though don’t they? Regardless of who’s bodies got the issues. So glad the ball is rolling for you, sooooooo exciting to think you could be UTD within the next few weeks, fx’ed!
Frustrated, are you still out there love? Where are you? How are you? How far along are you now? You must be so close. Please pop in and tell us all the goss.
Miss Kris, thanks so much for the laugh. How dare your GP look down at you for being young, I was 21 when we first started TTC and was almost 26 when it finally first happened, so despite the fact that you are young now it can take forever to conceive. Regardless of your age, when you’re ready to be a mum, you’re ready to be a mum. GL and I hope you get a much better response from your FS. Oh that would be wonderful to have lots of BFP’s all close to one another.
Liz, no we’re going to have a surprise at the birth for the sex of bub’s. We’ve just gotten to the place where it really doesn’t matter so why find out. I think I’m having a boy though, just for arguments sake. You’re right, your time will be just around the corner and the whole TTC journey will be in the past. Fx’ed AF shows up soon.
Hope, vent away, that’s’ what this site was created for.
Glad to hear you all have a sense of humour at the moment.
porsche i love the way you say produce the boys lol its such a man thing, my DH believes (he will kill me for putting it out into cyber space) that he has hybrid sperm with three tails LMAO he said when the time is right they will "drill the crap outta your ovaries" lol i then explained how it really works but he doesn't want to know. He is so wonderful like that, just saying and doing stupid things to make me laugh and make this whole journey not so stressful ... i am a bit of a stress head.
So glad we made you laugh Keli! I think my DH is right in keeping this light. It stops the negative thoughts coming in to plague me ... though sometimes i know ya just need a bit of down time to cry things out and feel bummed. Its what helps you get through the next little battle.![]()
I've been cacking myself laughing! I just wanted to say hi, really. Chucking big hunks ofat everyone.
Porsche- keep on sniffing hon, hope DH has recovered from his lube free adventure!
kris- I still feel like alittle kid at the FS and I'm 30! I know what you mean, they can be so superior, hey?
Keli- glad all is still well. You're stronger than me, I found out at 20 weeks with DS, because I just couldn't wait!
Liz- hope AF arrives so you don't have to move your appoinment. What a bugger!
Hope- sounds like you have some big decisions to make. We are always hear to vent to, hon, so don't apologise! Can you travel to your potential new closest city and just get an idea if there's anyone you might see? :hugs:
AFM: clomid finished and surprised everyone by being decidedly 'in the mood' this morningif you get my drift. Maybe it's a promising sign! Now the wait to o begins. I'm thinking I've got a good 2 weeks...damn long cycle!
I'm off the bed, I can hardly keep my eyes open.
Goodnight lovely ladies!

Hey all, sorry I have been MIA. It is DD 3rd b'day tomorrow & we are having a party on Saturday so I have been baking and cleaning my house amongst other things.
Bec - How are you going on clomid this time around? I tried looking into the 'old' egg theory but it was more around egg quality that I found
Hope - How'd you go with your Gyn/OB about booking you for your lap? I guess the positive by having the lap is they can tell you if anything is going on down there that shouldn't & hopefully be able to fix it. I have the same thoughts that you do about going down the IUI/IVF path.... I want another baby but to what extent?
Keli - 14 weeks - time is flying past! All is well after the lap - took a little bit longer to recover than I thought it would & I ended up getting some stitches removed as they didn't disolve properly & were 'pulling' a bit. But the incisions have healed well, although my belly button looks a bit odd! Not on clomid this month, so not sure if I will O or not but we'll still ttc prior to going to the FS.
Porsche - I have been stalking the other thread, so can keep up with what is going on with you there plus try to get mny head around all the terminology and stuff that goes with IUI/IVF etc.... I haven't got anything to say in there yet but will post again once I have been to my FS appt.
Kris - I am sure all with go well with your specialist appt. It is hard not to be sceptical/pesimistic when we have been through such crap. All the best & KUP.
Liz - Sending you AF vibes.
I'll probably be MIA again until next week, so take care all & hoping to see some good news from some of you soon. x
Just a quick one to update what I'm up to. AF arrived this morning WOOO HOOO. So tomorrow I am starting o the clomid. So hopefully the side affects won't be too bad.
HA ha Glad I've amused everyone. I guess we have to laugh otherwise we may just put it in the too hard basket. It really feels like we are now doing something not just waiting for nature to take its course IYKWIM?
RhiChiChi stalk away. As much as I want you there with me I really hope you don't.
Bec lol about being randy. Can't wait for those days back again sigh.
Yay Liz on Af showing. A fresh cycle and a fresh chance.
i know im going to sound stupid but what does KUP mean? lol I worked out FX as fingers crossed lol (forgive me if im wrong) but KUP i can't seem to! lol
OMG!
Is it keep us posted?
I just realised after i posted that
LMAO
Yeah, I know what you mean - if you don't laugh about it, you'll cry about it!
I don't want to join that thread but if I do glad that I'll 'know' someone in there. I hope you aren't in there for long
Bec - You must be really randy you posted about it three times! lol
Kris - Yeah, it is Keep Us Posted! lol
Liz - Woo Hoo for AF showing. FX for this cycle
Hi all
Thanks to everyone for making me feel so welcome and for letting me know what the SE of clomid are (DH is hoping I don't get the mood swings).
Rhi - I don't envy you going back to work after 5 months off. I struggle to return after only a week away, it probably doesn't help that my office usually looks like a bomb has hit it when I leave which doesn't make it any easier to re enter after a week away. I will have to work on this, lol. Hopefully you will get a BFP soo so you won't have to go back for long.
Hope - Thanks for the AFM translation, makes a lot of sense now I know what it is. GL with finding an OB/Gyn if you do move. I live 2 hours from mine but luckily he is very good and rings me with any results, posts out scripts or BT request forms and lets me fax my BBT charts to him if I have any concerns between appointments which I really appreciate as it means I don't have to waste a day of leave to go to an appointment for something I can do over the phone. Especially as I am trying to save up as much of my leave as possible for when I need it in the future, hopefully the very near future FX'd.
Bec – I had (and still have) a lot of SE with the Metformin so hopefully the Clomid ones won’t be as bad. I hope you are enjoying and relaxing on your holidays (probably not easy with your little one running around, relaxing I mean as I am sure he would make it enjoyable)
Epayne – I am glad you are feeling better. As for your concerns on the cost of having a child, my DH had the same concerns when we started. I told him that we will never be in the perfect financial place with the huge farm debt that he has so there is no point worrying and we will cope (although I am still hoping to win the $50 million tonight FX’d, lol). I went to boarding school for 4 years where there was a mix of the “rich” girls all the way down to the girls whose parents were struggling to send them to school. I know which ones were happier and it wasn’t the ones with money. Now I am not saying that it is bad to have money but it all depends what you give up to get it. In my experience a lot of the girls I went to school with rarely saw their parents as they were too busy working or travelling. I am extremely lucky to have (in my opinion) the best parents in the world. Now I will admit that I am spoilt, but the things I remember most about growing up are these – My parents always tried to make sure that one if not both of them were at any events I was involved in (a dad going to a netball carnival wasn’t a common occurrence back then, lol), driving me back to school at 5am on a Monday morning so I could spend that extra night at home, my mum reading with me every night, my dad instilling in me a love of sport that still brings us together, and always ready for a chat and a hug when I needed them. These things mean more to me than anything they ever bought me. I am lucky that I still get to see them nearly everyday as I work with my mum and my dad does work with us a lot as well. As long as you love your child (which I am positive you will) they will be the luckiest child in the world.
AFM – I am still waiting for AF to arrive! Isn’t amazing how when you don’t want her to show she is there like clockwork but when you are waiting she goes MIA. If she doesn’t show by tomorrow I think I will send my BBT chart to the Dr and see what he thinks.
Sorry if I have missed anyone as I am still trying to get up to date.
Hope to see lots of BFP on here in the near future FX’d for everyone (and toes too).
and
to all
Shan
Hi All
Bec and Liz, thanks so much for the advice on what to expect. Hope you both get BFP soon (and everyone else on here too!)
This may be a stupid question but what does AFM stand for?
At the moment I am still waiting for AF to arrive. Since starting Metformim my cycles have been regular so I am not sure what to think of this latest hiccup. I am temping as well and have had an increase 7 days ago that is still elevated. I am hoping that I have just cycled late but I after 16 months I am wary of getting my hopes up.
My DH keeps telling me that when we do finally get our beautiful baby that they will be perfect as we have done plenty of practice (lol sorry TMI).
Hope we all get BFP soon.
to all.
Shan
Hi all. I know, I've been MIA again.
Keli: I agree that it would be great to be UTD during the big move if it happens. I hate moving and it would be the best excuse not to do too much, lol. So glad to hear everything is going well for you and your pregnancy.
Epayne: Thanks for the support. Glad that AF arrived for you. GL with the round of Clomid.
Bec: Thanks for the support from you also. We are looking at moving to a place in Victoria and we currently live in QLD so I cant exactly go to the closest city to check out who is around unfortunately. It would make things alot easier though. Maybe my current OB can help me out with that. I did start a thread somewhere on here asking if anyone could recommend someone in the area we were looking at going but I haven't had any replies. I cant even remember what the thread was under. GL with your round of Clomid. Thats great that you had very little SE. Hope you enjoy your hol's. I suppose it is good that you are on Hol's cause you dont have the stress of work and TTC.
Rhi: I'm booked in for the 16th of july for the lap. Little bit nervous about it. I am a bit worried that that is when AF will be here, not too sure if that will mean that I can not go through with it than or if it doesn't make a difference. Sorry TMI.
Exactly, why cant getting UTD and carrying to full term just be easy and you don't have to make these other decisions.
Miss Kris: Thanks for the KUP translation. When Keli put it at the end of some of her posts, for the life of me I could not work out what it meant but now that i know it is so basic, lol.
ShanShan: Welcome to BB and this thread. The ladies in here are awesome and very supportive. As for the Clomid SE, everyone is different. I had bad lower back pain and pain in my sides. I also had horrible hot flushes. Other than that, I was pretty good. AFM stands for As For Me. I can tell you this cause I asked the same question when I entered this forum. GL with your TTC journey.
AFM: Nothing new to tell really. Still trying to work everything out that I posted about last time.
Hope you are all well and had a lovely weekend. Baby dust to you all.

Hi all,
Welcome to ShanShan! Hoping your stay is shortSE for me with Clomid were hot flushes, insomnia, moodiness and overly sensitive. Some mentioned weight gain, but I have not experienced this.
Bec - Yay! for school holidays. I just spent the day with my sister (rarely have time to do that these days) and it was really good
Liz - GL with this round of Clomid. FX for you
Hope - I hope AF is not due then, b/c my GYNO wouldn't do the lap when AF was due b/c he said there is too much blood???
Where abouts are you moving to? I will try to find your thread in the meantime......
Porsche - How is the IVF stuff going - sorry haven't been able to check on the other thread and all the names for everything is confusing :S
M22 - Thanks for posting your sucess with Clomid, I hope that we all can leave ASAP and become belly buddies rather than roller-coaster ttc budies
AFM - CD 11 so we are full on into the swing on DTD. Thank goodness I should O sometimes this week/early next b/c I am back at work next week and that is going to knock me around since I have had 5 months of long service leave and sleep ins!
