    Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum although not to ttc. I have been reading all your posts for the last couple weeks and I thought it was time to introduce myself. Me and my DP of 13 years are ttc again after having twins via IVF 5 years ago. I have pcos and DP has poor sperm motility and morph. I have been taking metformin and elevit (just in case lol) DP is taking menevit and has completely given up beer! Miracle DP has done all he can with his count and has re-done his sa to see if there has been any positive change fx! We started "trying" 12 months ago and no bfp during this time. We are going to see the fs next month to see if we will be able to have an ovulation induction again or if clomid will help. We really dont want to do the ivf route again because its so hard emotionally and physically, we have had 3 stimulated ivf cycles and 4 transfers before we hit the jackpot. But it was worth it in the end as you ladies will find out soon. Big congrats to the bfp, hope you have long carefree healthy pg. I look forward to joining you soon.

    Afternoon Ladies,

Wow Rhi I saw your ticker, 5 weeks already, it’s crazy isn’t it. Many symptoms yet?

AFM: Not much to report, belly is constantly growing, it has finally overtaken my 12E boobs, lol (they weren’t that big to start with). Still spewing each morning but I’m not complaining. 19weeks on Sunday, can’t wait to be over the half way mark. Thanks to all you ladies being of with me still posting in here, I try my best to be sensitive and just don’t want to upset anyone.

Fantastic news for those who have got their long awaited BFP’s this month, I know next month will hold many more exciting times for this site. Looking forward to taking part in it all.
Not many symptoms, which was the same with DD. I am getting more stretching, rather than cramping down below now & my boobs are still soreish but not as sensitive. NOt really tired yet either.

I have big bbies too - 16DD.... which get soooo much bigger when pg....

Awesome to see you are nearly half way, such a good news story.

Rhi how is everything going, wow 5 weeks already, any SE yet, hopefully if they are, they aren't too bad for you.

AFM I had my FS appointment yesturday and as per usual our doc made us laugh about our journey, but this time I also made him have a little bit of a giggle. I told him that I was on a forum with other ladies that are going through the same thing and that it's a great place for support, advice and getting things off my chest. DH piped up and said yeah right about what he does to anoy me and he just laughed. He said it was fantastic that I have you ladies for the support and do what ever I can to make this journey as stress free as it can for us.
Anyway I am starting to babble on a bit here, back to what is going on with me at the moment. Well as I posted the other day I'm not UTD. So this cycle he said he wanted us to try doing IUI, but with not having the little fellas artificially inceminated, as DH has no worries with his sperm (sorry TMI). So I have to have the provera for 10 days, starting today, then wait for AF to show which if she takes as long as my other cycles will be another 10 days ontop of that. Once AF starts have clomid (back to 50mg) for days 2-6. Then I have to go back and see the FS on day 7 or 8 so he can say when to start the FSH injections and the doseage I will be having. Also have to see the BT lady so she can show how to do them. DH is going to be brave for me and do the injections, I don't think I can do it myself, I'm not a needle person lol. DH and I have talked about the whole proper IUI cycle and have said that we will give DTD naturally a few cycles, but after that we will go for the turkey basting method lol. Well that is it for me for now.
Just one little question if anyone knows.
How are your moods with the injections, I have been told that they can be worse than the clomid, and if that is the case, look out DH hehehe.

Hope everyone has a great weekend and that we are going to see more BFP's soon. Babydust to everyone.

    Liz
Thanks for asking about me Liz, I really do appreciate it ::

FX all goes well for you & DH this cycle. Sounds like your FS is on the ball.

    Hi all
Just back from some relaxation in Lanzarote and there has certainly been some baby dust scattered on this site this month! Congratulations too all with BFPs!
AFM - really enjoyed my holidays. It was really good to just chill out and have a few drinks and laze about. I am currently on CD 26.Don't think this is my month. Clomid is still playing tricks on me - nausea, sore boobs and cramping! I only ever know for sure when AF arrives. I have just received some PRESEED. Does anyone have any experience of using this?
Really going to keep an eye on my body next month - OPKs, preseed and doing daily temps! Such fun!!
Wow! You get to go on tons of holidays - or does it just seem like that to me cos I am stuck at home?!

I used preseed & only used btw 0.5 - 1 otherwise there was too much 'stuff' and it wasn't a nice feeling.

    Hi Everyone,

I am having a little chuckle about the path the forum took re: BB size. You girls are certainly all well endowed, I on the other hand am a measly 10B – so am definitely looking forward to a bigger bust ☺

Ris Ris – Welcome to the forum, I hope your stay here is short. I can’t say enough great things about these girls, such an awesome support. My DH has Morph problems too, everything else was fine but Morph tested at 0%. We addressed it by him taking Mega Man (GNC brand), eating organic foods, replacing our soaps and shampoos with organic products and he also has a shot of kakadoo juice every day (this stuff is amazing).

Jules – Glad all is good so far hun, I really hope that everything goes well for you

Bec – How are you going hun? And OMG J cups, that’s unreal!!! Your hubby must absolutely love it ;-)

Clamagee – Hope you had a good holiday and that the break brings a BFP soon!

Liz – Sounds like you have a great FS, that’s really important I think, sounds like you have a busy month ahead of you, FX it pays off and you get that BFP

Keli – sorry to hear that the MS still hasn’t settled down FX it does soon and so glad your little belly is growing

Kris – sorry to hear about AF, I felt the same last month, was crushed that AF came but relieved that I O’d and just wanted to focus on the next month – when are you taking clomid 2-6 or 5-9. Best of luck with the next cycle and your right, you will prevail.

Shan – How are you going???

AFM – Well…. I tested yesterday afternoon and to my absolute shock and surprise I got a bfp. I have never ever seen 2 lines and it came up straight away (before I even flushed the toilet). I was convinced this was not my month and am still in shock. I didn’t even test in the morning, I just decided last minute to test yesterday just for the hell of it … As soon as I saw the result I came running out of the bathroom screaming and waving the sick in the air, DH was like what is going on (he didn’t know I was testing) and I just started bawling my eyes out. All afternoon I carried the stick around just to make sure it was real…. I am really happy, and even if something happens I am relieved I can get to this far. I just want to get through the next 8 weeks – I think given DH Morph results we could be in high risk category – in saying that I am not going to stress, I just need to get on with life.

I really hope this doesn’t offend anyone, as I said I honestly didn’t think this was going to be my month and am really very shocked. We are going to keep it very quiet (hardly no one knows we were TTC anyway). Thank you so much for all your support, I wish I had found this forum months ago.

PS – yes it is 5.31am – too excited to sleep ☺

OMG Pumpgirl! That's awesome! SO excited for you! WOO HOO!

Liz- sorry, I misread your post and thought you meant that AF arrived, I get it now, sorry. What day are you on currently? Glad your FS is on the ball and doing all the right things. GL with IUI.

Hi RisRis- wow, twins! I have a facination with twins! How do you manage, you must be very busy! Hopefully Clomid will work for you this time around and your stay here will be short and sweet! (IYKWIM!)

Jules- 5 1/2 weeks already? That is wonderful. Just a quick question, I know your DD is a bit younger than my DS, but when will you tell her? It's a connundrum I often think about for when we get UTD

Kris- your post about the flailing swords and the flying hair made me giggle. And yes, WE WILL PREVAIL!!!!

Claudette- welcome back! I've added you to the list, is that ok? CD 28, hey. Have you tested yet?

Porsche- Happy injection day!! Hope it goes ok, hon!
    Hi everyone else!

AFM: Well, AF arrived during the night. So on to next round. It actually works out ok becasue I'll be in the TTW this cycle when I go to my new FS, so I can start whatever she suggests that next cycle, and if (FX) I am UTD she can monitor for m/c risks too. I'm a LOT more dissapointed than I should be, I knew it was on it's way, I just hoped I was wrong! Oh well. Chin up and soldier on!

    Hiya
Thanks Bec for adding me - I am CD 28 tomorrow - few hours behind in Scotland! Yes I did test this afternoon - negative! Although my cycle is usually up to as much as 36 - sometimes 40 - so we'll see!

    Hi Ladies

    Congratulations Pumpgirl.

Well started injections today. Not as bad as what I thought they would be. I have a scan booked for next friday to see how I'm responding. FS seems to think I may over stim. Yeah great a threatened cancelled cycle.

Any way EPU tentative for 6th August and ET for the 9th August. Just have to get the results on Friday to see what we'll be going. FX I don't over stim.

CONGRATS Pumpgirl, Nice work and to think you thought it wasn't your month lol! Best of luck.
....oh and I will have to get dp to try the kakadoo juice, your not the first person to recommend it.
Bec - Yes the twins keep me on my feet but they are the best kids you could ever wish for.
Porche - Goodluck. fx you dont over stim, It happened to my first cycle of IVF. My thoughts are with you.

AFM - Trying to keep occupied until we get the sa results back. Also waiting on af so I can have my baseline bt & scan, she's only 3 & 1/2 weeks late!
