Thanks for your replys. Loula, I would love to see that site if you still have the link. Lairdoz, you are always so calming. I'm going to call the nurse in the morning (the one that I usually see) and have a chat about it. She was the one that called me for my other two tests and was always so optimistic. I just HATE waiting!!!
1day86 - I think it might be too early for you to tell. Take it easy and see how it goes. I had REALLY heavy bleeding the day I found out I was pregnant and 2 days later my numbers had doubled, so there is still a chance for you.
All of those going for their BTs soon - good luck!! FX'd for all of you.
Just one more quick question... If my progesterone is low, can this effect my HCG but then when it goes back up it will right itself? Thanks guys again fro your support.
on this at the bottom you will see that the doubeling rate changes as the pg goes past 4 weeks. eg: a HCG readinng above 1200 can take up to 96 hours to double
with regards to p4 my FS was always happy with anything over 50
Things are happening so quickly in here (very slowly on the outside though).
Terry and Lairdoz - I will be thinking of you tomorrow and sending lots of positive vibes your way. Hope you can get some sleep tonight!
Minime - fantastic news! If the level's going up then it must be growing in there - nothing else can be making your hcg go up. I don't know what levels are normal for each stage, but you had a serious bleed which must have slowed things down, but now it sounds like it's back again. I agree that you should call the nurse and have a chat - any info will be helpful (rather than just our speculating in here).
T4aF - Woohoo!!! Congrats girl. If you were at my clinic they'd be testing you today. At least when you have your BT it should be a very clear BFP with no grey area. Good luck hiding your smile till Friday!
Lisa and LMM - hope you're both hanging in there! I haven't got any symptoms either. Last time I was certain that I wasn't UTD and it turned out I was (too briefly). So, I've only learnt that my gut instinct is not to be trusted. Hope yours is more reliable than mine.
Yogi - wow - 2 cozy little embies in there. Hope they do as they're told and don't get up to any mischief over the next two long weeks. What date is your BT?
1d86 - it's not over yet. You (all of us) are under a lot of emotional stress and on a lot of strong hormones, it's really hard not to get REALLY down at times. Don't ever feel selfish for the way you feel. Yeah, of course there's always going to be someone in a worse situation, but that doesn't mean you can't feel totally ripped off about your own situation. I can't change things for you but just know that we're all here for you. It might feel like it'll never happen but it WILL, really
AFM - I'm not going to POAS. If it's neg then I want to live in 'maybe land' for as long as possible - it's frustrating here, but not as devastating as BFN land. It makes it harder for the nurse when she calls though. I think if she rings with bad news I will make up a reason to get off the phone asap. They're always so lovely and kind and it just brings me to tears. And if it's good news I'll talk her ear off.

I POAS again (one day since the last time), trying to miss my hands and all, in a dark toilet at the chiropractors of all places, and the 2nd line was darker. WooooHooooo.
Kaybee - yummy. Hope you enjoyed your cake. Your nurses sound so supportive. Here's hoping you are going to talk their ears off. Good luck for Friday.
Lairdoz - yes, we are programmed to be very conservative about the whole process, Guarded, don't want to disappoint ourselves!! I get sick of walking on egg shells though and everynow and then decide to stop fighting the roller coaster and go for the ride.
Hi Yogi Bear - yeah, join the bunch here, and let's all see each other in preg. forum in the near future
LittleMM - when's your BT?
MiniMe - waiting again. Sending you more hugs. How many days between your numbers 4000 to 5000. If you had twins and one didn't make it, that would make the numbers slow up.
oneday86 - Each round of IVF is just as intense as any other. Please don't be so hard on yourself. We don't really have much control over the process. Our thoughts and feelings being +ve or -ve is just so normal. And just because you are 23y/o doesn't make it any easier. And as for marriages, that's why they are there, for these tough times. It's your husbands job right now to be there for you. Make sure you ask for it.
Good luck to everyone. lots of stickys and BFPs

Time - A big congratulations to you hunnie, you must be so happy
Kaybee - I understand wanting to live in maybe land. I do POAS before BT but it was reluctance. I can't face the nurse call without a heads up. Hoping it all goes well for you.
Minime - hang in there hunnie, I know it must feel really crappy right now. Crossing my fingers that everything goes well for you. You do have some good indications.
Oneday - you're not selfish, this is a tough ride, any LTTC is tough. The bleeding is not necessarily a bad sign and could be from a variety of factors. I had a couple of spots in the first 2 days after transfer. The nurse told me that it could be from EPU, from ET and that crinone is known to have a tinge of red. It could always be early implantation. I know we seem to be alert for things going wrong, but it could actually be something going right.
LMM - I have a pack of HPT in my cupboard as well but aren't game to even test yet. I don't have any symptoms either. Hopefully we will be both by a symptom free BFP which you hear about!
Terry - GL today, you are brave not POAS ahead of time. I"m a coward and need a heads up.
AFM: been feeling pretty down, and guilty for feeling down because I know many of you have had heaps more cycles than me. I guess I just don't feel pregnant yet again, and am beginning to wonder if it will ever happen for me. Anyhow, I know I'm just feeling sorry for myself and have really only just started IVF and probably need a reality check as it's unrealistic to expect success the first time around. Okay, time to pull myself together and go on to work.
Lairdoz I'm so happy for you sweetie and if its twins then double the joy. Hope that the next 8 months treat you well.
I'd like to thank all of you for your kind words and I truly belive that you girls understand the pain I'm feeling at the moment more than my friends as you are all expereincing or have expereinced similar things. I have had a good cry with my beuatiful kind DH and also been to the gym which helps me releive stress. So today is another day and the beginning of the healing process that will lead to my next cycle.
Good luck to the lovely ladies still awaiting their results
Hey ladies just rang the nurse as im still spotting a little im a little worried as my prgesterone level has been low both previous cycles. i asked what my levels were and my HCG was 70 which was 2 days prior to the original BT. My progesterone level was 30 which she said is on the border line. Im having another blood test tomorrow to check levels but it dosnt really sound too good does it, with the spotting and low progesterone level and im on max of 4 pessaries a day? To see how excited my hubby was last night and to hear our families screaming with excitment on the phone i would be devastated if we lost it! im trying to stay positive but its so hard when your so used to being let down. Well fingers crossed xx
Terry - I completely agree, it's really the ladies in here who get how hard it is to keep going month after month. I wish you all the luck in the world
oneday86 - Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but putting the pessaries in the back rather than the front can increase absorption and help maintain levels if this helps. How many dpo was your 70? It's a good level to indicate the embie is having a red-hot go at implanting. I sooo feel where you are as it's hard when others are so excited but we know far too much information which makes the process so stressful. I hope tomorrow brings you the news you need with those progesterone levels rising along with the HCG !!
