I know Sweetie, the TWW feels like forever it is almost like time purposely goes slow..

I did another POAS this morning and "-tive" again, with DD it was around this time that I got that second line so I am now 99% sure this time didn't work but I still have 5 more days until BT unless AF arrives on Sunday when she is due.

Is anyone doing anything different to try to make them stick??? I have accupuncture and on alot of progesterone and blood thinners but apart from that avoiding coffee and all forms of caffeine..
Fingers crossed for all of us xx

Dinnie - Congratulations, that's great news. Best wishes for H&H 9 months.

Blossom - I also pulled out all the stops this time with acupuncture, lost of rest, no running this time, striving for a 'zen' like state at work... I can't recommend anything else though i'm afraid...just lots of positive thinking.

KellyD - give yourself a few more days, if AF isn't due until Sunday that still a good sign. Fx for you.

Sweetie - I feel your pain of waiting

AFM - well, I was at the movies on Tuesday night and was suddenly in such excruciating pain and breaking out in a sweat and all nauseus I had to leave half way through - DH came and picked me up and I was in sobs of tears - bloody crinone! It's the first time I've lost it since starting the cycle, only now fully realising what a strain this all is. Couldn't sleep at all Tuesday night, was climbing the walls in pain and felt literally like ripping my uterus out - this was nothing like cramps, more like contractions. So, emotionally low, I caved in and POAS on Wednesday...and +tive. Didn't trust it, so tried again this morning and +ive again. We're in shock, DH and I were given less than 1% of a chance to have a child together (we still have our donor sperm in back-up storage), and it might just be happening. Hanging out for BT tomorrow before I truly accept it.

Thanks Blossom. I think it's an especially long and stressful journey for couples like us. I read your donor is also from o/s - known or unkown? Ours is a friend of DH, who came out to Oz last year to do all this for us...we felt a bit weird telling him last week that this time the biopsy was successful, but he's been absolutely lovely and excited for us (after all we put him through!).

    Hi
Lieve ours is unknown. It certainly is a really hard journey.

AFM I just poas and i know it was to early but it was -tive....aaaarrrgh! I have been having cramping etc and as i am on progesterone i dont get my AF still i stop all the drugs.
My transfer was last Friday so 6 days past transfer but i am also on pregynl and lots of progesterone so i would have thought that the pregynl may have shown up maybe as well... But no only one big fat line!
Not due for BT till next friday i am praying that they are going to stick but unfortunately i shouldnt have done it as i feel sooooo negative and depressed now.

    Lieve,
I'm so happy for you!!!! Congrats!! It sounds like a miracle So BT will be tomorrow? Good luch with that!
You have really strong symptoms, wow!!

    Blossom,
That is what I did too, lots of rest, no coffee or tea, no strenuous exercises, healthy food, lots of vitamins. Good luck!!!

    KellyD,
Don't give up, I think it's too early to test if your BT is next week only. Just keep up and I wish a huge BFP for you next week!!

    Wantaminime,
Thank you for your kind words I'm sending you lots of baby dust for your next cycle!!!

AFM - I still do not have symptoms, only I feel a bit tired. I hope that is normal!!!

hi oneday it looks like its you and me in here my test is on the 25th so looks like we will be riding the rollercoaster together. I had acuputure too just before and just after this time and I must say I felt a lot better. I've done ti before but not so close to transfer as my regular acupunturist cant always fit me in but there is a place right across the road from the IVF clininc that just specialises in IVF clients so I went there an hour before transfer and then straight after I hope this has helped me

Yay im in the 2ww thread again!! hopefully the last time for a while . I had our last frozen embryo tranfered today it was a day 6 embryo. I had acupunctutre this morning before transfer and after and that too was great, very relaxing!! I had a blood test on saturday and today to check my progesterone levels as we were concerned i wasn't producing enough progesterone (doing a natural cycle) but both tests came back good so no progesterone support needed at this point and hopefully i wont need it if this embie works . My blood test is 26th aug for results but due for AF on the 24th. I look forward to hearing from some other ladies in there 2ww xx
