I had 1x A grade Blastocyst and 1x B grade Blastocyst put back yesterday.....POAS'd to make sure trigger has left my system...and yes it has!!! Anyone who knows me knows I'm a serial POASer..LOL I am 1dp5dt....yoooohooooo! Can't wait to start POAS next Wednesday.

By the way...what is the earliest you or anyone you know has tested and had a BFP after a 5 day transfer? With my daughter I POAS'd 4 days after and there was a very very faint BFP....you had to really hold it at the right angle..light..and squint with your third eye...but it was there....and then everyday after that it got darker and darker.....but keeep in mind everyones BHcG is not the same on the same day...so i don't want anyone to get discouraged.....mine at the time was abit high and twins were suspected....when that didn't happen, Down Syndrome was suspected, but then with all the tests and amnio...we had a healthy baby girl, Samantha.

    Hi emerald star!

    I'm 3 days past, 1 x 5 day embryo!

I fought the urge to POAS this morning- somebody, please, tell me how proud you are that I fought the urge! :P
I don't want to test till Tuesday.
But in reality, I'll probably test tomorrow!

    Good luck!

    I'm proud of you Emma!!

Emerald Star, I don't think I'd be testing any earlier than that. The other worry with early BFPs is a tubal pg. I've never had a BFP before 11dpo, but the first time was a chem pg (ie low hcg levels) and the last time I was using IC tests that turned out to not be sensitive (didn't get a BFP until 13dpo, then did a FRER and it was clear as day, so I think it would have been positive a few days earlier). With the ICs being so cheap, I tend to start at 9dpo now...

Afm, some mild cramping/bloating this morning. Trying not to obsess because I know I get it in BFN cycles too...

    *edit*
Did I say "mild" bloating? I've had to unbutton my jeans (and I didn't have a big lunch)... >.<

Emerald Star, I once tested 8 days post transfer of a day 5 embie and the line was there. This is before I became a serial POASer . The last time I had a BFP I was testing 1 or 2 days post transfer and saw the trigger leave my system and I started to get a second line at 6 days post 2 day embie transfer. The line was quite obvious so I reckon it would have been visible at 5 days post transfer. I think it's safe to test 5 or 6 days post a 5 day transfer. But I reckon if you're lucky you could get a BFP 4 days post transfer. GL hun!

Emma, I don't believe you've resisted the urge to test today! Very proud of you hun GL with your testing too x

OK ladies, here's a question for you.
Are there any of you on Crinone? If so, have any of you experienced a touch of blood after you inserted? Its never happened to me before, and I'm thinking is something wrong or (drum roll please) implantation?

Hi emerald star I used Crinone in feb, I had a 2 day transfer then and I got some browny blood on the stick but it was towards the end of my first week and unfortunately mine was the start of af.
I am hoping yours is from implantation and is nothing to be worried about. From what you have written about your test coming up so early with your daughter maybe it is from implantation :-)

Even my fs and clinic were surprised I got af a week after transfer so it mustn't be common.
Crossing fingers for you it's implantation.

Emma- so proud of you for resisting the urge to poas. I can't say the same thing for myself....stupidly I have done one this morning and one tonight lol like the result was going to be different.
I keep expecting it to come up with a line cause I really think I am pregnant.... I just feel different and have twings, pains, bloating and feeling yuk. But then I think to myself you can't be cause its not showing up and if this was from being pregnant surely it should have shown up by now!!!!! If I am not then I seriously give up on trying to figure out the differences in any cycle and what my body does. 4 more days then a blood test.
Sorry I am probably babbling about the same stuff each day but this is my only place to talk
through it with people who understand my craziness in this tww.

Juniper - your tummy must feel so tight from your bloating especially if you had to undo your jeans. Hope it is a good sign :-)

I don't know if I forgot anyone else I can load any earlier messages than whats on this page, if so hi and I hope you had a good day.

Emerald Star, the crinone can irritate the cervix and cause spotting. I hope it's implantation though.

kerbear, I hope the next 4 days pass swiftly for you.

Emma, did you test today or are you still holding strong?

kerbear, still crossing my fingers for you.

Em Star & N2L, we're all 7dpo - when do you plan to test? Will you wait for 9dpo or test earlier (or later)?

Afm, I was determined I wouldn't, but I'm obsessing... Still bloated and today have added "increased appetite" to the list of "signs". Normally I don't eat until 3pm and it's fine (years of skipping meals will do that to you), but today I had to have breakfast... and lunch... and now pondering what to eat at 3pm...

Yep, definitely failing at my "not obsessing" plan...

Hi Ladies, I'm plannning to do my first POAS on Wednesday morning....I feeel no different to any other day though. I can't remember if I felt any different with my first. Should I be having any symptoms now? I'll have to google later and see what I can find out. Here starts the obsession.

    I'm 4 days past a 5 day transfer.
    So 9DPO.

If my research is correct, we shouldn't get a BFP until at least 6 days past a 5 day transfer- so 11DPO.
    That's probably an average though

Although- now that I have started POAS, I want to do one right now

Did anyone experience tender breasts and tiredness as a side effect to progesterone pessaries?

Do the pessaries mimick pregnancy symptoms?

Yes definitely Emma. If you think about it they increase progesterone levels which is exactly what happens in pregnancy so you feel the same. My boobs always ache and swell and get veiny. It sucks because it just adds to you getting your hopes up.

Good luck with your testing tomorrow!
