That is awesome news Tima!!!!!! How exciting!!!! That's pretty good to be getting a + at 11dpo too. What tests are you using?
I have vowed not to buy any more for this cycle. 2 more sleeps til beta.
Hello ladies
I'm finally in the 2ww. It seemed to take forever to come around. I'm so relieved everything has worked. I was worried about my last embie surviving the thaw process. During the transfer the embie got stuck in the tube and they had to do it all again. At least it's in the right place now and FX crossed it sticks.
Oneday I'm sorry to hear about your BFN.
Congratulations Tima and Kaybee.
My BT is next Thursday and I know I'm going to be a mess if I get a BFN. Best of luck to everyone.
Hi peeps, well another BFN today... BT not till Monday, but my period due Friday. I've got two tests left, so will try again tomorrow and then Friday. If still BFN, I'll just do the BT Monday to confirm either way. Well, if not work out I'll go back for a two embryo transfer (I have four embryos in the freezer), then hopefully result will be twins and instant family!! But if this one works out, of course we will be over the moon!!
Woohoo Tima, so happy for you. By the way what is the difference of a 3dt and 5 dt for the POAS best results? I am now 8dp5dt (I hope got that right!) and still BFN... Do I still have time for HCG levels to rise or even exist?!
Hey Kaybe, how did your BT go? This TWW has been so awful! I got up at 4.15am this morning to test and went to work for 6.30am before anyone else got in the office. Been holding back the tears all day, just told people I must have a summer cold coming on... :cold:
RhiChiChi, welcome. You have come to the right place to help you get through the dreaded TWW! Keep positive all the way. I'm 50/50 atm!!
Possums, I didn't mind the crinone, but the clinic didn't give to me this time round?! I hope hasn't effected the success of implantation... Good luck to you matie.
Tantee, good luck for your BT on Thursday! Crossing fingers for you!
Hey happybaby, let's hope this wee embie works out for you this time round!
Well, at least tomorrow is hump day! Can't wait until the weekend so can go to Ikea and keep my mind off baby stuff and work :-(
S
PS.
Kaybe, congrats on the BFP! x
Hi everyone
Wow I haven't been well and have missed a lot!
Sweetie - yay for hump day and ikea! so well organised and distracting love it, for you bfn BUT still hope you have plently of time for a bfp before monday.
Happy baby - oh dear, glad everything is ok now though.
Tantee - I'm sorry your line disappeared, did you test at different times of the day? A couple of time I have had BFN's in the past because I have over-diluted my urine and tested too early after a previous wee (sorry tmi), good luck for your bt thursday though.
Tima - Yay! Congratulations, 8dp3dt is really good to be getting a bfp.
Possums - Hi hope you are going well, yay for holidays. Can I ask what the clexane is for?
RhiChiCHi - Welcome, hope you're coping ok in the 2ww
Oneday - if you're still here, I'm so so sorry to hear about your news. My heart almost broke I thought everything was going so well for you this cycle. Be gentle with yourself. I can understand if you need a break/career change given your current place of employment. Sending hugs  to you and DH.
I can't complain, my OHSS has gotten alot worse but I think its because I am pg, got a thin line on Monday 7dp5dt. My swelling has increased and am having some trouble breathing while sleeping and moving about but am hoping it doesn't get any worse. Am still praying everything is going ok and that baby is in my uterus this time.
Hugs to everyone, its such a tough journey at times, hope you're all going ok.
Tima - Yay!!!!! Best of luck for strong BFP numbers for you on BT day.
Happybaby - Thank goodness your embie survived the thaw. It must have been extra nervewrecking to have your embies stuck as well. This little mite must be very determined to make it's way in and settle in. Best of luck to you for a bfp
Sweetie - thanks for the well wishes. Have fun @ ikea, I'm sure you will find lots of stuff that you never knew you needed there. I always do! It will prove a good distraction. I think I will also be be transferring 2 next time, although, knowing my luck, they will both split and it will be quads. Did you end up POAS yesterday?
Aimee - I found that the lines were stronger in the afternoon for some reason and have of course googled this and found it to be true for quite a few others. It sounds like you are definately preggers if your OHSS is getting worse and you already have + on POAS. That is unreal. I have my fingers crossed for you big time and really hope that you start to feel a little better. It must be hard going feeling so yuck with 2 little ones to care for as well.
RhiChiChi - Good luck for this cycle. I hope you end up with a good result.
Possums, Oneday, Kaybee, Springlola, Trishy & Saffy.... (I am sorry if I've missed anyone) thank you so much for sharing your journeys. I feel so much better going through these cycles being able to talk with wonderful caring people who help share the anxieties, hope, joy and disappointments that this TTC stuff throws at us. (This is suspiciously sounding like an oscar speech!) But seriously... thank you. You are all amazingly strong women and hopefuly you will all get to hold your dreams in your arms in the near future.
AFM - My BT was a BFN:-( with a hcg of 4. - what was with the 'pregnant on the clearblue digital test on Tues Afternoon?) I will be going back for a FET in Feb (this is the earliest opp) and will hopefully transfer 2 blasties. I am just thankful that I hopefully don't have to do another stim cycle. Have only had frosties once before (day2) and lost all 6 at once in the thaw, so I am praying that my blasties will fare better.
I just have to wait for AF now (joy!), start the pill, and then wait, hopefully clear some headspace and start off fresh (well frozen really!) in the New Year.
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year and that you all get a nice little Christmas gift this year. I'm going to pop back into the LTTTC and assisted for now, but will pop in to check up on you all.
Well ladies, it's time for me to leave this forum... AF arrived today :-( Not sure where to go from here but I'm so over this heartache :-(
I wish you all the best of luck and loadz of Christmas babydust! x
Sweetie, we must have been posting at the same time. I am so sorry :comfort:.... Please take care of yourself.
Hey Tantee, thank you. Sorry for your crappie news too pet... I'll join you in the LTTTC thread, as yes I want to do the same thing, 2 FET in Feb! Here is to lots of bubbles over the holidays before we try again. Let's think positively and look forward to the future!
tantee and sweetie- so sorry to hear you haven't had good news, it's really so hard, I feel for you...here's hoping it will happen soon
tima, great news!
happybaby- sounds like a bit of a tense transfer day for you...hopefully this is THE one for you
aimee- sounds good...here's hoping your embryo is doing really well...I hope you start to improve soon, doesn't sound fun at all
to anyone else I have missed, sending sticky vibes!
afm- doing OK...up and down emotionally, which is standard in the TWW...I go from feeling positive, to nervous, to worried etc
the clexane is because i have antiphospholipid antibodies which cause blood clotting issues (these were discovered after my last miscarriage) affecting implantation/forming placenta etc. I am also on a small dose of thryoid medication to ensure the Graves Disease stays well under control...and all going well with that (we were forced to have a year off TTC once i was diagnosed with Graves Disease...it's been a journey full of hurdles, but hopefully we've overcome them and are now on the path to a baby)
after our losses, I know that next time we manage to get a BFP (and I hope it's this time) that will just be the start !
Hi girls! still plodding along in my tww.
Firstly big big  to everyone who got a BFN- Sweetie, oneday, tantee- sorry it didn't work for you I hope you can still enjoy christmas but I know how bad it feels xx
possums- hopefully you can put the disappointment of the past few years behind you and get on with growing a beautiful baby! When is your BT?
Tima- YAY- nice to see a BFP here- Is it feeling a bit more real now?? Hope BT goes well!
Aimee- certainly sounds like you are UTD-!! exciting!! I've heard other people get OHSS worse when they are pregnant, is it settling down now??
Happybaby- glad you are in the tww- are you resting up? Best of luck for a bfp!
RhiChiCHi- good luck for your tww, feels like only yesterday we were both in here together! Hoep we both get better outcomes this time . Any symptoms for you? Or is it too early?
Kaybee- I think I've already said it but congratulations again on your 'official' BFP
AFM- I think I am 8DPO, nothing to report except bbs getting sorer which I would get whether pg or not, so ho hum, *twiddles thumbs*, just waiting. Christmas is a good distraction from the tww I've found.
good luck everyone :goodluck::2ww:
Saffy- fingers crossed for you! my BT is the 23rd... I find christmas is a good distraction also... I think by Monday I will give in and POAS though!
Hi Ladies,
Tantee and Sweetie - I'm so sorry about your crappy results. And what an awful time of year to have to deal with such horrible news. I really hope you are looking after yourselves and can find plenty of baby-free distractions. I'm so sorry and hope hope hope that your luck changes in 2011.
Possums and Saffy - waaaiiiittttiiiiinnnnggggg!!! You're right though - it's such a busy time with Chrissy and all. God I hope you get the best chrissy prez ever FX TX
Tima and Aimee - Yay!! Massive hugs and congratulations to you. I hope it's all smooth sailing from here on in.
And to all the other beautiful ladies - I hope your cycles are going well.
AFM - sorry to still be hanging around - not sure where to go and still feel so much a part of this group. Sending babydust for us all xx
Thanks Kaybee...am going a bit crazy today with the waiting, imagining the worst, that it will be negative, and then trying to remind myself I haven't even started to test yet, so I should stay positive! arrrghhhh
hope you other ladies are doing ok this weekend
p.s when do most people start POAS after a 5dt?
Possums I know what you mean about negative thoughts. I was reading through my notes for my last transfer in Aug and I had a lot more symptoms like bloating and cramping. I've felt some slight cramping today but could be my imagination. I've been quite emotional the last couple of days.
Last time I held out from POAS until the BT but this time I think I'll try next Tues. My BT is also the 23rd and I had a 5dt.
Good luck and I hope we get BFPs for Christmas.
happybaby, I sure hope we do! I am thinking I will POAS mon. The symptoms can vary so much each time as well, that it can just drive us more crazy I think. I can't tell, because I have symptoms from the crinone, so I can't tell what's going on beyond that. Hang in there...fingers crossed!
possums- i POAS last time @ 9dp5dt and got a bfp, i probably could have done it a day or two earlier ( I think it implanted 5/6dpt) but was trying to wait as long as possible. GOODLUCK!!
Happybaby- I was v emotional last time when I got a bfp- hope its a good sign for you.
Kaybee- hang in there you will be in the preggo threads before long I'm sure xx
AFM -I am 9DPO- very sore boobs but went out and had a few drinks tonight, I know I've got minimal chance so I am going to enjoy myself for christmas- FX everyone xx
Hi Girls
I dont think im in the right thread but not sure where to go next. I had my DS in April 09 and DH and I have been trying 'naturally' since March 10 but seeing as it took 2 1/2 years and 2 rounds ICSI we havent held our breaths. However, it is getting to that point where we are going to do IVF again as everyone around us has fallen pregnant. As I have no AF i can never tell where I am in a cycle if anywhere and can sometimes drive myself insane thinking 'maybe I am' and then disappointed when im not, i can safely say that those making POAS have made a LOT of money out of me. What im wondering is if any of you lovely ladies know what happens with a FET with no natural cycle. Im trying to keep myself busy so i dont overthink things and i hope you dont mind me being in here, I know i thought ppl wanting a second baby were greedy when we were TTC #1.
Possums i remember you from 08 and i just wanted to say i have followed your story and will send a prayer your way for a BFP this week.
Love Bee
Hello ladies!! It's been ages since I posted in here! I stopped posting for a while as I had a few ups and downs with my IVF journey as I'm sure you all have had. To give you a brief summary of my history, I had a full stim cycle back in Sept which resulted in 15 eggs being collected, 9 of which fertilized with ICSI and 6 survived (4 x A grade embryos and 2 x B grade embryos) I transferred one fresh embryo that month which unfortunately resulted in a BFN :(
We then took a month break to get all the hormones out of my system. We then went and did a FET last month...embryo survived thaw beautifully, however this cycle also resulted in a BFN :(
So that brings us to now :) We are having another FET on Tuesday which I am hoping and praying will result in a BFP! Will have blood test around the 4th Jan I think. Things I am doing differently this time are accupuncture and taking low dose asprin. My lining measured 7.5mm on Friday and it had a three layered appearance which they said was good.
My question is, has anyone tried accupuncture with success? Also, what was everyone's lining measuring before ET? Did this result in a BFP or BFN?
Thanks ladies!!!
Let's hope we all get our Christmas miracles!!!!!! And a big congrats to those who already have :) xxx
saffy, thanks for your support, here's hoping your get a surprise positive result :-)
bee, thanks for your kind thoughts...I believe with FET in cycles where you dont ovulate naturally, you take medication to basically make you body mimic what it should be doing, so that your uterus is ready for an embryo to implant..I'm sure your clinic would have a full rundown on that. I wish you every luck x
danni-girl- welcome and good luck! I do see an acupuncturist and I believe it does help during the cycle and with encouraging implantation. I am not sure what my lining measured before our ET.
afm- nervous, up, then down...and thinking I will POAS in the morning 8dp5dt. Also, am on crinone and have such sore boobs! they are bigger too, which DH doesn't mind ;-)
Hi all,
Sorry I have been MIA - been a busy week & weekend.... I am currently 8DPO 'o' & 5 DPO AI (I am fairly sure I O before AI was done :S) Anyway, am due for AF probably Xmas Day/Boxing Day. If no AF will test probably on the 27th. I had a 1500 prog. shot on Wednesday, so I don't want to test too early in case I get a false positive.
Don't have time for persies, but am hoping you are all doing as well as you all can & will try to get on prior to Xmas. xx
Hi Everyone
Sweetie - so sorry to hear about AF's arrival  enjoy your bubbles over Christmas!
Springlola - How did you go?
Tantee - if your still here, so sorry to hear your news, so much disappointment :(
Happy baby - good luck for your bt on the 23rd!
Possums - not long until your bt now, I poas and was having incredibly faint positives at 5dp5dt (DH thought i was imagining the line), My clearer bfp came at 8dp5dt though. Goodluck! Hoping for a BFP for you!
Rhichichi - Hoping for a nice christmas present for you! I have always worried I O'd too early too with IUI cycles but hopefully it was perfect timing.
Danni-girl - sorry to hear about you other cycles hopefully your transfer will go well on Tuesday.
Bee - I'm yet to have a FET but hopefully someone else will be able to help you, lol re poas companies they must be making a fortune!
Saffy - Glad to hear you have been enjoying yourself!
Hi to Kaybee and anyone else I've missed!!! Hope everyone is going ok in this journey.
I'm going in for my early morning bt tomorrow and hoping for good news, my stomach is still swollen too and looking about 6/7 months pregnant ish, had to go out the other night for DH's christmas party and almost everyone asked about it, I guess I'll just stay in hiding until I know for sure whats happening as I'm too scared to say either way (I had an ectopic after my last transfer). Then off to finish the last of my Christmas shopping!
Richichi....best of luck, here's hoping!
Aimee..hoping for great results with your test! And I hope your symptoms settle down soon too, sounds really uncomfortable for you
afm...
:jawdrop:It's 2am and I woke up needing to go to the loo and so nervous about doing a HPT that there is no way I could go back to sleep. So I just got up and POAS....and there is a second line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am in total shock. I was so ready for that one line, that I actually felt sick while I waited for the results to show. Could I really be pregnant?! I so hope so, but I am so scared to get excited or hopeful this early. I am nervous too--- could the trigger injection still be in my system? This is now 15 days since the trigger and from all I have read I should be OK by now??
OMG. Now how am I going to go back to sleep, lol
I woke DH to tell him, but he was so sleepy and not really with it...he said he was so pleased, but to remember it's only early...then he nodded back off (he's been working a lot again to get all done before xmas and is pretty exhausted). And now here I am in the middle of the night staring at two pink lines! I don't even have to squint or hold it just so up to the light, the second line appeared pretty quickly and while it's lighter than the control line, it's clear. Please let this be the one
Oh Possums I am so excited and so hopeful for you, I hope this is the one, enjoy this time and stay positive xx
That's exciting possum must be a lucky day I poas and i got a 2 line too blood test is on Friday trying to hold it together as last cycle it stuck then didn't continue to work
Possums-:dance: WOOHOO, yay for your BFP- good for you, xxxxx
Aimee- good luck for BT today- xxx
RhiChiChi- good luck to you too, i hope AF doesn't come xxx
Hi Dannigirl- sorry you have had a hard time but hopefully it is all good news from now on. I think my lining was 8mm and I got a bfp but it didn't stick, I was doing acupuncture and really enjoyed it- it helps with the lining and my AF isn't painful anymore. Best wishes for he FET, I am doing one next year.
Bee27- Hi I haven't done an FET before so have no idea- maybe try asking in the LTTC and Assisted Conception thread- most pwople in there are doing IVF/ICSI/FET etc- good luck!
AFM- I'm out- getting preAF spotting since yesterday, hopefully she comes before xmas day! Glad AF is coming early, that means my FET will be sooner . Good luck everyone!!xxxx
Saffy, sorry AF has showed, but it's great to hear you are positive about moving onto your FET.
trishy- great! my BT is thurs, but I am hoping to move it forward to wednesday
Yay Possums!!! Wooohooooo :confetti: Not long till official BT either - your numbers should be really good with a nice clear line already. Yay!!!
sorry trishy, i posted the same time as you- CONGRATULATIONS, will keep sending some sticky vibes to you and pray that this one makes it xx
thanks kaybee!! if all goes well for us both this time, we will be pretty close in our journey
Hi ladies!
Firstly, congratulations Possums and Trishy!! What fantastic early Christmas presents you have received!!!
Aimee - Fingers crossed for your BT today, I hope all goes well for you :)
RhiChiChi - Here's hoping AF stays away!! I wish you all the luck for your test on the 27th.
Saffy - Nice to chat to you again (I remember you from last time) I'm so sorry your last BFP didn't work out but I'm sure you will have good news very soon.
To everyone else, I'm thinking of you all and I'm so happy that we have a place that we can all share our experiences...let's hope we get some more BFP's in here very soon!!!!
AFM - My FET is tomorrow morning!!! I'm so excited...I hope this is THE one. I had an accupuncture session today and will have one tomorrow after the transfer. I am only transferring one embryo. Blood test due for around 4th Jan I think.
Much love xxx
Hello lovely ladies :hello:
Just want to say quick "Hi" and introduce myself...i've made it to the 2WW. Had a Day2 transfer yesterday with our one and only mature egg collected. My mantra is "it only takes one!" :2ww:
Sounds like some exciting news coming this way soon...all fingers & toes :crossfingers: for BT Trishy & Possums.
Wishing everyone here lots of babydust for their xmas miracles!
Yogi
xx
danni and yogi , welcome and here's hoping this cycle brings your BFP!!
yogi...reading your signature it sounds like you have been through so much...it does only take one, and I hope this your one x
Congratulations Trishy and Possums. I hope it's the start of more BFPs before Christmas.
Saffy Sorry to hear AF is on the way. FX for your FET next year.
Good luck Aimee and Rhichichi with your BTs.
Welcome Yogi - let's hope this is the one!
I've had some pg signs the last couple of days. Backache in lower left side and cramping but of course it could be the crinone.
I bought some HPTs today and I'm going to test tomorrow morning. I'm already feeling nervous about it.
happybaby- fingers crossed, I can relate to your nerves...I hope your test comes up positive!
Hi Ladies!
Thought I would pop in and say hi, although I'm pretty sure my 2ww is coming to a end very soon... :(
Congratulations Possums and Trishy!
I woke up in the middle of the night and did a test. BFN :crying:
I can only hope that it's too early as the tranfers was only a week ago.
Wow its been so busy in here
Oh dear happy baby - I'm sorry, I hope it is too early, will you test again in a few more days?
Congratulations Trishy and Possums!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really hope they are implanted nice and cosy for you, what a lovely surprise.
Welcome Yogi, praying this is the one for you! You have been through more than enough
danni_girl - goodluck for your transfer!
Saffy - hoping this is your lucky natural cycle
Welcome Outback Woman
and hi to Kaybee and anyone else I've missed
afm - my blood test results came back quite good yesterday, I think they were above 230 something? (thats 14 days after ET) but i have a repeat on wednesday and an u/s next wednesday to check baby is in my uterus. My OHSS is starting to settle but I'm not sure if thats a good thing or not. We have been having some family drama and some very insensitive things were said about me :( and I'm not sure whether I need to put myself through that this Christmas.
