LTTTC(AC only) - Did you DTD during your TWW?

This poll is to answer, once and for all, the question as to whether you have DTDed during your TWW, and whether it affected your chances of falling pregnant. This topic comes up every now and then, so let's get an idea of what our members think on this subject!

Thanks Loula for the suggestion for the poll.

Yep me too Sarah. We got warned off from DTD during our stim stage of the cycle, and were WAAAAAY to scared to DTD during the TWW in case we messed up the cycle.

Just a thought - I think you need another option:

No we didn't and we got a BFN

Just because you have the yes we did and we got a BFN?

I'm not sure I can actually pick one of the poll options...

First time - yes we did, and we got a BFP, but miscarried...
Second time - no, too scared, another miscarriage...
Third time - no, way too scared, another miscarriage...

Fourth time - nope, too damned messy with the pessaries (first fresh transfer and first time I'd had luteal phase support) and got a BFP that finally turned into a real live baby.

Our clinic didn't warn us off sex at any stage - in fact during that last cycle DH was supposed to have daily ejaculations while I was on puregon, so there was a hell of a lot more sex then than at any other time during IVF... until my ovaries got too damned sore and swollen!

So... really not sure where I fit into the poll options...

I voted no cause we didn't want to risk it. Two times out of three transfers we got BFP and miscarried one. We now have a sticky one I think!

This poll is for Assisted Conception TWWs only. I think with natural conception, it can only help your chances to DTD while in the TWW, so this is only for those who are undergoing AC.

we did it once before the joys of crinone came to the fore. but were told we shouldn't because i was on a full stim cycle and there may have been a little googley egg floating about... they didn't want to risk a multiple pregnancy.
we figured that we really really suck at getting UTD so if i got preg naturally while also preg on IVF that would be deemed the miracle of the century! lol.
