Didge: that sounds wonderful! :flower: Will keep everything crossed for the beta.

Leis: great to hear the appointment went well. Good luck with the 'baby juice'. Why does everything a Naturopath recommend taste awful! LOL! :-#

    Take care,

I can relate to the Baby juice tasting awful Leis, I started off taking mine in juice but have got to the point where I just take it like a shot in a small amount of water. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it works for you.

Well done Didge, I'll keep everything crossed that all goes well for you.

Hey Didge that sounds very promising, good luck for sunday I will keep all my fingers and toes crossed for you, hopefully you will start the ball rolling for 2006

Hey Leis a swim sounded great I wish I was on holidays, have been lurking a bit lately and seen your posting about jobs for DH hope that all goes well, keep sticking to that baby juice even if it tastes disgusting in could make all the difference.

Hello to everybody else hope you are all well and had a great xmas and an even better new year, unfortunately some of us have to work night shift on new years eve so no little drinkies for me, hopefully we will deliver the first 2006 baby though.

As for me we have decided to try IVF again sometime in the new year, not sure when yet, need to just get over xmas first and save a little more cash, but at least its not all over, so I will keep you all posted as to when we will start IVF ICSI #3 they say 3rd time lucky so hopefully next time will be it.

Happy new year again and dont get too drunk, there is nothing worse than a hangover

lil_chookie - We have a General Store. It's just me and DH and we open from 7.00am and generally close around 6.30pm, 7 days per week. Although now that this is our little towns busiest time of year (now and over easter) we open 6.30am till no earlier than 7.00pm, sometimes closing at 9.00pm depending on how many tourists are around at that time of night. If it's hot they all want ice-creams, which i will say will be happening over the next 4 or 5 nights due to 40 degree + temps. We even had to open for 3 hours on xmas day as there is a paper. I told DH that while it is just the two of us, then it's fine, but when we get some bubbas, theres no way we are opening. He just said that we would all just go in there together and have a nice family xmas morning in the shop (yeah right!!) We have a lady that comes in on a Saturday arvo for 6 1/2 hours, so thats our only time off. (and it's only a Saturday arvo so that DH can play footy over winter). It does get really tiring, so no wonder the BDing is not so spontaneous for us anymore. DH's parents own the shop, but we run it. They try to help out if they can but they run a motel in town, so they're pretty tied up in that. It is for sale but if it hasn't sold by September this year, their lease runs out, so will be out of it soon (they've been in there 15 years). Then they will take over the shop and DH and I can either stay around here and get jobs or move on the bigger and better things. Have to do something though, coz unfortunately we don't get paid anything for running the shop. Have to try and live off the stuff in the shop, but the upside is that we get to live in the house at the back and don't have to pay rent or anything. It just gets really hard as we dont get much money to do other things, and its especially hard now that we are going through assisted conception and having to pay for that. I just keep telling myself that it will be over soon and we will start to make our own money (and babies he he he)

Mrs Mac, 7 days is hard and I really feel for you. Epecially when you are not getting much money to do other things, it's good not to pay rent & live off things in the shop but sometimes you just need the cash!! My plan has always been to set up a business that when little one finally decides to come I can work & have the little one with me. What I doing now will be perfect, so hopefully it won't be long until we have that bundle of joy!!!

Well I am off on my holiday now, hope everyone has a lovely new years and bring on 2006!!!

    Good morning!
Thank you for your kind thoughts and wishes. I think I've bought our local chemist out of pee-sticks One for each morning. The line's appearing immediately now, and quite strong....still feeling a bit apprehensive though. Though trying to remain positive.

Skye - How are you going with the down reg? Are you feeling a little better about it? Did you find the synarel a bit better than you were expecting? I know, questions, questions! Lol.

Marg - How's everything? Do you get much of a break from your shop around Christmas? Sounds pretty busy. Hope you're well!

Leis - How's the baby juice? Glad your appointment went really well, they're pretty good - I had Ruth a couple of years back, very nice lady.

Shan - Best of luck with your new clomid cycle! Hope the witch has finally arrived for you, sounds like she's being a royal pain in the bum.

Jane - Welcome, best of luck!

Suzy - How's your down reg cycle going? Is this your first IVF?

Shazey - That's a shame about New Years. I used to work it when I was working for Black Cab taxis a few years back, and Christmas as well. Do you have to work all night? And, good luck as well with yours and DH's decision :flower:

And I hope everyone else is doing ok. I can't believe 2006 will be here tomorrow, trippy...

    Cheers!

    Hi everyone,

Didge - congratulations \/ This will be my 3rd IVF. My ds was born as a result of my first. I spent the weekend I found out I was pg, doing pg tests, 14 in all. The absolute best thing I had ever seen in my life, was that line going darker. Even much later in my pregnancy, I used to do them, just so I could have the pleasure of seeing that line.
However, it took me ages to really digest the fact that I actually was pregnant, and even now, days after his first birthday, it still feels unreal at times.

Leis - I'm interested to know what else went on in your appointment, and is there anywhere she publishes her results?

lil - hope your camping goes well - me and dh love to go camping as well.

Mrs Mac - gosh, your shop sounds hard work

    HI to everyone else,

    Suzy

Is anyone going to watch the fireworks this evening???

Didge - I'm so happy for you. It's fantastic. What a way to send off 2005. 2006 is going to be the best year for you. How exciting. I just hope I follow in your footsteps, so i'm :bellyrub: for luck. AF is being a pain, but I started on the clomid this morning. So far so good. I didn't get any side effects last time, but who knows what will happen. Heres hoping I get my BFP in about 3.5wks time.

Hope all you lovely ladies have a great New Years and for those of you who can have a drink, go for it. I'm going to be on my best behaviour just in case. God knows what a bundy and clomid could do to me. He he he.

Lets hope 2006 brings heaps and heaps of BFP's for everyone.

Well my AF due Wed and I'm not confident bout getting a BFP.
Been showing signs of PMS. (I thought vitex was meant to help with that!)
Even though we been tring for 16 months, it's only been 3 cycles since DP sperm improved.
Specialist told us to try 6 cycles after sperm improve then go back to him but I don't think I can wait that long. If I get another BFN I want to go now and find out what is wrong with me!
I know I am Oing and my cycles pretty regular so i want to know what the prob is!

    HI Skye,

Synarel is OK so far. I get a very itchy nose though and have to stop myslef from sneezing it all out 8-[ . No partying for me either though we are going to the 9"0 clock fireworks.

Shellbell - what's vitex? I know what you mean about being impatient to find out whats wrong. Dh and I did that - we had all our tests earlier and I'm glad we did. In the end there was nothing wrong apart from my age (37 at the time), but it lead us to ivf and I got pg with ds.

    Love,

    Suzy

Vitex is a natural medication from healtha nd vitamin places that helps regulate your cycle, supposed to help with releasing LH and supposed to help with PMS, the PMS part I don't feel has helped but I'm in a much better mood this evening after being swimming. Still hot though!
I'll prolly give one more cycle a go if this one -ve then go back to specialist. I don't see point waiting around to get something done sooner.

Pinch and a Punch for the day first of the month!!!! It's a little sad that @ 1am on New Years Day I'm home in time to sit at the computer but thats cool with me. My resolution for 2005 was to be a mother or a mother to be and I'm afraid it was not to be so 2006 sounds like a good year to me!!!! Heres to Didge being the first of many s to come!!!!!!!
    Happy New Year Everybody!!!!!!!!!!
