Musik - Yeah, it's been a long time TTC but a LOT has happened in that time (including 3 marriages). The first time I was on Clomid I was uneducated and VERY unhealthy - I only did 2 cycles before I gave up ... all too hard The second time we discovered that the problem was with my (then) DH not me. This time we're fully educated, my PCOS is under control and DH is all good (has 2 kids already) so in a way, I feel like this is the first time I've really had a good hard crack at it ... so to speak LOL!

Anyway, enough waffling from me ... I'm sure you didn't want to know all that lol

Tammara - Absolutely, I agree! I invite anyone to bring on the 'me' posts ... we're all here to support each other

I hope your men are all spoiling you rotten today girls

Hi Girls - Dee sorry to hear, Good luck with the IVF - and I agree please make sure you make it all about you for a bit!!!

As for me - well AF arrived for me yesterday! All day Saturday I was in extreme pain and then they came! I am still in pain. So guess I better ring my specialist to organise this months worth of ultra sounds and like! Oh well - at least I know I O'ed this month been.
I will be ordering some of that Preseed today! because I apparently released two eggs and there is apparently nothing wrong with DH as he has been tested, so obviously they are un-co!
    All the best ..

    Hi Everyone,

I hope you don't mind if I join this group - I have been reading your posts for awhile and I can relate to so many of you!!
I have PCOS and I am insulin resistant we have been ttc for just over a year. I have been on 500 x 1 met for 3 weeks now with little side effects and I started temping this month aswell. The temping is a little confusing as I have had two jumps in temp in the last week and now I am unsure when I have ovulated!! so we are just baby dancing all the time!
We have had more bad news yesterday with my husband finding out he may have a low sperm count - I am off to my FS tommorrow to have her look at the results because his GP really wasn't helpful!! My FS wants me to go on clomid but I am now unsure if this can happen if he has a low sperm count - does anyone know??

31becc - Sorry to hear that AF is giving you grief - I hope you're feeling better now. Great news that you're O'ing though - I hope the preseed helps and gets you a BFP this cycle

Mahli - Hi & Welcome I hope the Met sorts things out for you - it did for me! I'm the worst person to talk to about temping .... I just don't do it because I get too frustrated with it. I prefer my OPK's - a LOT of people have told me that OPK's don't work for us PCOS girls but they work for me. I've also been told that 'Maybe Baby' won't work and for me, that's true *shrug* I think regular BD'ing is the only way to go when you have no idea when O was or is - that way you know that you've given yourself every chance and there's no regrets at the end of the cycle (you know, that sense of satisfaction knowing that you did everything you could?). Depending on the problem with your DH's sperm, the FS may suggest you go straight to IVF (or ICSI?) or he may be happy for you to proceed with the Met & Clomid - the Clomid will get you O'ing with more eggy's so I guess it can't hurt to give DH's spermy's more targets I hope the FS has some good news for you

AFM - Well AF played a trick on me and arrived a day late - getting my hopes up when she didn't arrive on time Oh well, here we are on CD1 of Cycle # 5 and AF is being a witch!

    to everyone!

    Red face

Hey girls - I had to go and get an urgent PT done even though I had AF - because I was in sooooo much pain. But turned out negative~ Apparently it can happen!

Welcome Mahli - I use the OPT - my FS recommends I use Seritec brand - you can get O tests from lullaby conceptions (website) though and buy in bulk and they are a lot cheaper than from the chemist and then POS every day after you you finish AF's. I did the temping thing and it really stresses you. I could not pin point the day for O doing that - but no wonder wasn't Oing!

Kylie - you poor thing - fingers crossed for this month. I feel for you - can understand with the hormonal thing prior to AF - I turn into a witch! My poor husband! I don't start taking my chlomid until day 5 - so on Thursday! Good luck

Welcome Musik to the link - this is a great link - I am about to start #3 on Chlomid - first month was OK, but 2nd gave me hell - absolutely shocked. Felt like from my ribs down was bruised both on my back and front - I hope you don't get side effects like this.
    Baby dust to everyone!

31becc - Oh no! You poor bugger! Has the pain stopped now? Do they know what caused it? I find that if I have a bad cycle then AF is going to be a shocker too. I'm sorry about the BFN and I hope that this cycle is good to you! I start Clomid on Saturday (CD 5-9) so it looks like I'll be following you through this cycle. How long is your cycle?
