    In pain

Im on day 16 now & am so certain that i iovulated yesterday ( Day 15 ). I no i have ovulated before just not every month ( Hopefully being on the chlomid will make it every month ). I had pretty bad o pains for a few hours yesterday then my back got extremely achy and is still today, does this happen to anyone else, i dont remember my back aching like this before from it. Would the chlonid make it worse???
......want baby 2.... Some good advice from the girls before for me, Take the chlomid at night so you sleep thru the worst of the mood swings workd wonders for me.. HOpe this helps.

Dear Frustrated,Thanks for the tip although i have already been taking them at lunchtime.Only 2 more days to go.I cried all day yesterday....what a nightmare.I have some pains in my uterus today.Normal side effects.I was remebering last time i was on them that i couldnt do my pants up comfortably as my abdomen became slightly swollen. That was when i had been taking them prior to my frozen embryo transfer. My mother is worried i will become the next Nadia Sulamain.LOL

    Day 18

Ok so day 18 and i feel ok, past couple of days still felt a bit off from the tablets, But today has been the best so far. Although this morning i have been getting really tiny little pains in my lower belly kind of like little needle pains every now and then.Really weird feelin. Kind of likle period pain but not as bad and just every now and then.Maybe from the tablets, im not sure but its the first time...
So hard to know what are from the tablets and what isnt at the moment. Day 21 tst in 3 days although like i said i no i did ovulate so then its just a matter of waiting....
Hope someone has some good new to tell all of us soon...
Hope everyone has a happy and relaxing easter

    Oh my god...

    Hi everyone,

I tried posting like 5 times yesterday but somethign was not working on the forum so I gave up after a while....I have some news!

I have had a crazy weekend ! So, I went to the doctor on Thursday since my period has not arrived in over 45 days...he was not happy and said he would have to induce my period. I went in for some tests Thursday and he had a look and took blood. He sent me off with instructions on how to induce my period and a handful of prescriptions. He told me not to start anything until I call tomorrow for the results.

I left for the weekend with Hubby so I called Friday afternoon from a restaurant while we were waiting for our food to arrive. He told me some surprising things! The clomid had worked! I ovulated!!! He said that I ovulated very late though, and that he believes that it was the metformin that triggered the ovulation to happen. So I was so happy to know that we had found a system to get me ovulating! He told me to wait 10 days and that if AF had not arrived then I was most likely pregnant! I was so shocked because I believed that it had not worked! Anyway, my husband and I went on with our weekend and did not discuss it again.

All weekend my boobs were sore so I though AF should be arriving soon. I also felt a bit tired and needed a nap one afternoon, totally not my thing...and I remember that on the taxi ride to the airport I got nauseous but I think that was because I took my metformin without eating afterwards.

Anyway, this morning, Monday, I was getting ready for my shower and said, what the hell...? I had one test in my medicine cabinet - and I can never leave them in the cabinet longer than one week! I took the test and got a positive in 20 seconds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe this..I am trying to enjoy this great news before I start stressing about MC (my mom had many MCs before I stuck around) I can't believe it!!!

I just don't get this...This is my first round of clomid and I thought it did not work...I thank you girls for making me less stressed because I think that it happened when I stopped trying. I was so focused on getting my period that I did not stress about ovulation or pregnancy...and it happened...Please keep your fingers crossed that it sticks!

Sending love and baby dust to all!

Hi everyone. After 7 weeks on metformin I got AF - yayy! I had been on the pill for the last 10 years to manage my PCOS and whenever I took a break (from 4 months to 7 months at a time) I never had AF. So this is my first "non-pill" AF in 10 years.

It's pretty much over but now I have this constant pain in the lower left part of my abdomen. It's been nonstop for about 19 hours now. I'm seeing the doctor this morning but has anyone else experienced this just after AF? It doesn't feel like period pain. Now I'm paranoid something is wrong with my left ovary. I also felt nauseous and went into a cold sweat this morning when I was standing up. Not sure if that's psychosomatic from me worrying about my ovary though.

Beetle, are you eating a low GI diet? You should be careful with what you eat on Met because it can cause you to have dizziness etc, if your sugar drops. So eating low GI ensures a steady flow of energy...You didn't mention your food, but have you adjusted your diet? Also, how long after your period did you get the pains?

Congrats on AF! Met has been a wonder drug for me as well! I did not O on Clomid alone but the met made me O so keep taking it and you'll be really happy with the results!

Danielle, that's great and good luck!!!

    xoxo
