Sarah- I know what you mean!
    It's sooo expensive....
I can't even find out if my 2 embies made it to the freezer
Only my DR can tell me and I've left 3 messages.
Just sent a scathing email, I'm not impressed!

If I'm not successful this cycle- I pray that my embies are in the freezer, I found EPU to be the hardest part of the journey.

Emma I would be so cranky. I got a call on a Sunday morning to update me on my remaining embies. They weren't able to be frozen but I was told as soon as they knew. I was also called the afternoon of my EPU how many had fertilized. I hope you get some answers xx

Hi girls - I'm not going to try and convince yu that this ivf ride doesnt suck because sometimes it just does. Just know w are all here for you and you can rant and rave and do whatever you need to in here without judgement.

I still havent given up hope for this cycle for you both. This friday would be the same number of dpt as to when i got my second line - so hoping it is just a matter of you tested too early and come the weekend so will your bfp - will cross everything for you. hugs

Jane, was that the first time you tested? Or did you have BFNs leading up to it???

Now I wonder if it was dark- like it may have shown up earlier had Jane tested earlier.

Can you tell I'm reading far too much into this?!?!

i don't think darkness is really that relevant. It's more the initital hcg level. Given that it takes approx 48 hrs to double, you can pretty much work out when you would get a bfp iykwim.

eta - by working backwards i mean.

I dont know what you mean.
Wouldnt it vary for everyone on when it implanted, HCG levels...etc??
    Im confused

Okay, they say a bare minimum for an unequivocal positive on 14dpo is an hcg of 100. Given that hcg doubles every 48 hrs, it would have been 50 at 12dpo, 25 at 10dpo, etc.

I was bfn at 10dpo with a FRER, and a light positive at 11dpo. I know you've picked up a hcg of just 5 on FRER, so I guess my hcg at 10dpo was no where near 25!!! Averages are just averages. HCG was only 82 at 14dpo.

it was just for illustrative purposes M. I was just explaining how to count backwards.

eta - yeah, FRERs are about 5 iui apparently, althought the company wont admit to lower than 10iui.
