It is lovely to hear good news even when your own news isn't so good!
I have a review appointment on Thursday to plan where to from here. We will definitely keep going but I think after four back to back cycles we will probably have a month off. I feel a bit exhausted to be honest. My hair has thinned from the hormones and I am determined to have a drink on my 40th next month (or 10!!)
It is funny though...I got a call from one of the clinic nurses to say my fs said no need for a follow up blood test. We were chatting and I said at least 2 is better than the 0 from the three other cycles. She said other doctors at the clinic would count 2 as a positive. My doctor counts 5 and above. I thought about this after I hung up and thought if my doctor was someone else I might have been cautiously celebrating last night. But then the end result will be the same regardless. If a miracle is meant to occur it will. If not, it won't - and we just keep trying until it's out turn.
