    Afternoon Ladies,

Baby Dreamtime - Hey hun, 10DPO is really early to detect anything on a hpt no matter how sensitive. I think waiting until 7dp5dt is usually a safer bet when testing at home. I really believe that there is still a chance for you yet . Hopefully those magical two lines are still yet to appear and are waiting on your hcg to get stronger . The 2ww does your head in, hey?

Joy - Thx for the sticky vibes... I certainly need them! Good Luck with your BT's over the next few weeks... make sure you keep us informed on how you are going! So exciting for you .

AFM - Not much to report today... doing 3 x 400mg pessaries a day due to break through bleeds before BT for my last transfers. Is ok at the moment but will certainly be interesting come Monday when I am back at work! I will work something out though.... . Keeping everything crossed that this little one on board with be my 3rd time and lucky last! . Am so refraining from POAS'ing this 2ww.... it's going to be hard but I am going to do it! Best thing is, my BT falls on a Sunday so my clinic offered to do the the BT test on the Saturday rather than make me wait until the Monday!

    to all!!

    Hi girls

Sorry you're out Baby Dreamtime. It's always the most sucky part of the cycle, and doesn't seem to get less sad. Enjoy the freedom of the rest cycle- and then fingers crossed for the thaw.

Coral my fingers are crossed for you! As far as I can tell no symptoms doesn't seem to be a bad thing. Perhaps you're just taking things in stride? We look to be cycle mates don't we? I hope all goes well for you

I'm back in again on my first thaw cycle- au naturale! Feel like its a bit of pretend IVF as there have been so few interventions. I don't have any hormones to feel sick on or to give me false hope...which is kinda sad...I liked some hope
I feel like we get 2 chances with this cycle- my natural ovulation and my little embryo- so I have a a hand crossed for each of them!
Blood test in just under forever (Fri 23rd)
Standing by for some positives ladies!

Baby D – I’m so sorry the nasty witch has turned up . It is so horrible when she arrives before the BT . It happened to me on my 1st IVF and just added salt to the wound. I seem to have a problem with AF trying to break though (not sure if I have a LP problem?) and mentioned this to my clinic that it doesn’t seem right so they have upped my pessarie dose from 2 x a day to 3. Might be worth mentioning to you FS/ Nurse if it is a recurrent thing? I hope you enjoy some R &R time during your month off . Keep me posted on how you are going and ’ing that you will be successful on your 1st FET when you get back, xoxo

JosieJo – Ha, can totally relate to natural FET’s feeling like pretend IVF! DH and I also DTD when my BT showed that I ovulated .

Does seem a little quite in here at the moment so yay for a cycle buddy!

You are right… I am taking it in my stride as I feel a heap of pressure for this cycle to work as we are onto a stim after this if need be. Have also been thinking of changing clinics so even more pressure if things don’t go as hoped.

When did you have ET? The 2ww takes forever, hey? I’m lucky and get to test a day early as BT falls on a Sunday. I hope you are feeling nice and relaxed and that your little emby is starting to settle in nice and tight for the next 9months !

AFM - Still not much unfortunately . Wish I had something more exciting to report but just don't have any definate signs. Still in with a chance of course but I am just not feeling too confident.

Lots of for us and anyone lurking!

    Hi All

Been lurking and keeping an eye on things in here.

BDT - so sorry to hear that this cycle hasn't worked out for you. GL with your frosties for next time though - how many do you have?

JosieJo - all the very best for this cycle. I'm hearing you on the pretend cycle thing - but now that I'm starting a stim cycle I'm realising how much better it is doing a FET. Good luck!!!

Coral73 - so pleased to see you back in here and everything crossed that this is your lucky, sticky, wonderful embie. I know that feeling of really really wanting your last FET to come through for you so you don't have to get back on the fresh stim cycle roundabout. So really hoping for you that this is it. Don't worry too much about the vomiting etc I really think that if it's going to make it then it's going to make it regardless of those things so stay positive.

It's interesting that you both you and JosieJo are giving your natural cycle a bit of a whirl at the same time. With all our FET's DH and I were always a bit unsure about what to do. Kind of wanting to try naturally at the same time as we were doing our FET but at the same time our clinic includes something on our consent form about not trying naturally during IVF cycles. I guess they don't want to risk getting two positives perhaps?

Anyway hope you're all hanging in there and coping okay at this stressful time.

Loads of goodluck and to you all.

KMond – Thx hun :hugs:. I really hope that this is one also… Mum said the same about not being well that it wouldn’t affect things so I think I will let that go now as one less thing to worry about is always a good thing .

About doing DTD, can you believe that I actually got scared afterwards and said to DH that what if we end up with twins? He soon put my mind at ease as the chances of us falling naturally are about 0.05% chance! Doesn’t hurt to try anyway and my acupuncturist encourages it around ET.

Starting to do my head in a little now… still not feeling very hopeful…. it is the old sentiment that it would be just too good to be true attitude! Hopefully I am proved wrong in a big way though ! Feeling very bloated today and getting cramping so might be AF trying to push through or a build up of the progesterone (am on 3 x a day now).

Good Luck with with your stim cycle! I am ’ing that you get lots of good quality emby’s and that you have a 100% fertilisation rate (wouldn't it be just wonderful!) . I will be stalking you along the way, he, he!

JosieJo – Hope you are doing ok and not going too stir crazy! Thinking of you and sending lots and lots of

    Hi everyone,

Thanks Coral re your advice re prog. I do have a LP defect but am already on 2 crinone daily, not sure how much more would be overkill. You are I think about 10dpo (sorry for stalking)). If i was you I would have poas a million times already. Are you holding out until BT? oh I hope this is the one for you. X

Kmond yes of course I remember you and had checked on you many times. So sorry to hear about your recent FET but hope your coming stim cycle gets you your BFP. I am just hanging out waiting and feeling ok about it all we have 4 blasts in the freezer so hoping our next bub is in there. At the moment we are saying this was our last stim so all my hopes are riding in these frosties. Good luck for your coming TWW and will be watching from the sidelines x

Josie hope you are doing ok

    Afternoon Ladies,

As per my earlier post, as you know, my AF had arrived .

I need to start at the beginning, so here we go:

At approx 2-3am this morning I dreamt that my period had arrived (it was so livid and felt so real). I was really upset in my dream and was trying to tell or convince someone in it that I could still be pregnant though???? Anyways, I woke up and then went to the toilet at approx 3:30am and wiped and saw that the toilet paper was dark. I turned the light on and of course there was a large swipe of bright red (sorry TMI ) so knew my dream was a premonition of some sort and that AF had arrived. I went back to bed and consoled myself back to sleep thinking that I couldn't even except that it was all over even in my dream and was still trying to protest that I might be pregnant ! My alarm then went at 4:30am so I could insert my morning pessarie.....I thought I better do it anyway and got up and did it, again more red.

I then woke at 6:00am and went to the loo and surprise, surprise... more red. Knew AF was here . DH & I went and had the BT done as per protocol this morning so I could have confirmation to stop the pessaries. I told the clinic nurse that AF had arrived and asked if there was anything else I could do as this cycle my pesseraie dose was upped from 2 to 3 p/day and still my period pushed through. She said there is not much else they can do and that the pessaries don't always hold off AF, however, they do help you if you are pregnant.

So anyways..... my clinic called just after lunch and my nurse asked if I was sitting down. I said that I was as I was driving at the time (wasn't too interested in the conversation at this stage) and then she blurted out 'congratulations you are pregnant'! I was in disbelief and said are you sure and did she have the right results? She said it was my name at the top of the form - no mistakes. I burst into tears and didn't believe her of course and she said that I definitely am and that my numbers were strong - Hcg: 167 and Progesterone: 70 ! I asked her about the bleeding and she said that my situation is exactly why they tell girls never to stop the meds even if they have a bleed as there is still a chance you could be pregnant. She said not to be concerned about the bleed as some people do get a breakthrough bleed at this time.

I can't believe it ! DH & I are just so, so happy!!
