    Hi Everyone.

Just popping mhy head in here to say "Hi!". Just had my ET this morning. Wow, can't believe I'm in here. I'm so nervous now, trying so hard not to think about it.

DH was blown away watching it all on a screen. I think it's become a whole lot more real for him now.

So guys, what do I expect from here? How long does implantation usually take? Any tips anyone has more than welcomed!

Sending lots of to everyone in here and saying a for us all. May we get that Bonanza this month!

    Hi All,
I am 5dp5dt....and getting sick of the 2WW!! Nice to have some company!! I had to have a blood test to monitor my progesterone this morning (due to problems on previous ET's) and I am now waiting for the call. I wish you could fast forward the 2WW

Good luck to everyone else out there

BOC I use this as my guide...it may not be like that for everyone but a good indication from previous ET's I have done.

    3 day transfer-
1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt.. Implantation begins, as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt.. Morula is completely implanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
    fetal cells
8dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on
    HPT
