Sorry every body for keeping you in suspense - for some reason I couldn't get on to the site, it kept on timing out!
Well... When I went for the blood test on Friday, they said they'd call between 10 and 12, but it got to about 2pm and I'm sure that the poas must have been a fluke and there was nothing to report...
Then I got a call and they told me I'm 4 weeks pregnant!! I can't believe it it's so surreal at the moment. I know it's really amazing for this to happen on the first go - I've got friends who are on their 7th round, so I'm feeling like I've got beginners luck at the moment!
Thank you to everyone for your good wishes - I hope that there are more BFPs this month. I just hope it sticks!
Redidris, yeepee!!!! Congratulations hun, wishing you a very H&H 8 months or so! Well done hun
JVol, Bridget, lilmisshavachat, kittykat27 and Lou, I have my fingers and toes crossed for your little embies, may they stick like glue and be little fighters!
Lou, I really hope you get one or two (or more!) little ones to freeze. When I had my stim. cycle last year, they have transferred one fresh 5 day blastie, and on the morning of the transfer they didn't think any of the other embies were suitable for freezing. I was so disappointed, but called them a couple of days later and they told me one ended up beeing good enough for freezing. Well, I had the 'one' fighter blastie transferred on 11/7 and I'm now almost 6 weeks pg. So don't give up hope hun, sometimes they just get a little growth spurt!

Loops - I really hope your embies catch up and there are some for the freezer for you..
AFM - I haven't been this obsessed with symptoms since I was a 1-6 month TTCer.. Back when hope was all you needed to suceed (yeah right).. I have been staring at my veins tonight and I don't think I have ever seen them this fat or this blue (Had just gotten out of the shower..Does this change their look?) I don't know what it is but I just feel really good and not just good but happy and contented and we all know how few and far between those feeling can be... I think I have had niggly twinges and a little cramping which I never get with AF so maybe just maybe this might happen.. And so we wait..

afm, i am not POAS this time. i did have a bad experience when i did my IVF as i got a pos reading on POAS. that was because i had an unviable chem pregnancy. the hcg was high enough for a reading but not for the pregnancy to stick. so never again. i will hang out to the real BT.....as hard as that is.
well it's off to work for me today. back to a bit of normality. i don't really stress about signs this early. which is good. but look out for next week. i too check out my veins!!! how funny is that!

Thanks for all your good thoughts everyone, nice to know we're not alone in this. It is so tough. So I have been continuing to test, and of course the tests are all +ve because of the Pregnyl boosters every 3 days, but I've been trying to test each day to work out if it's getting lighter or darker (I know, my hubby thinks I'm totally crazy), and up until yesterday they def got lighter after each day following injections, but today I was not as sure. Maybe it was even a little darker or at least the same as yesterday. So I had lost hope, but now I have a glimmer...I am 13 DPO today and BT is on Friday. I know I know, just wait for the BT. I have really lost hope this time, it's amazing how you'll try to hold onto any glimmer of hope until the end.
OK so I'm replying to my own response here which is strange in itself - but I just did another test and the line is DEFINATELY darker than it was this morning. My blood test is on Friday. I'm starting to get more hopeful. I have another Pregnyl injection tonight so no point testing until blood test. It's going to be a long week!
I have my bt scheduled for Mon, same as you lilmisshaveachat! We can freak out together!
My dh and I have been doing ovulation induction without success, now I've been told my estrogen is very low for my age (32) and they prompted me to ask questions re: early menopause in the family. Turns out my mum and nanna both went through menopause early 40's.
I'm still clutching onto hope for this month but they've basically said I'm doing it to go through the motions while waitin for my 'review' appt to go to full ivf.
In the meantime, I'm trying to keep super busy and not focus on where we're going to come up with the money from to do the next step!?!?! So far I haven't squeezed my boobs once, or done any poas! I am thinking about buying one to do the morning of the bt though, I have to work that day and would like to have a little bit of expecation for what they're going to say before I turn into a puddle at my desk!
Jvol - That is sounding super positive.. I've got everything crossed that this is it.. How exciting for you.. I can't wait ot hear you announce your BFP...
Sharon1977 - How well are you doing.. I can't believe you haven't squeezed once... I think I might go slowly nuts for all of us...

i need some advice on your cycles and symptoms!
i had my ET last friday, so i am 4 days past ET? i am on pessaries at night and crinone in the morning. i started getting cramping in my lower back last night and have it today. it feels like the pains i get before AF. my AF is usually here around day 24-26. today is day 23 and i would normally be having these pains.
should AF be coming so soon after the transfer? a
nd i thought the pessaries were suppose to stop AF from coming?
is back pain a sign of implantaion?
how many days does implantaiton happen after ET?
if you can answer any of these questions you are wonderful!!!!!!
i am waiting for a call from my nurse's so i can hound them as well!!!

Kittykat - I have the same questions as you as I only had my transfer on Sun and I already have AF type feelings but i assume it would be way to early for that so I am hoping they are implantation pains. They could also be just wind pains though as the Crinone Gel seems to be taking its toll on me. I hope its good signs for both of us, we deserve this! GL

kittycat27 - I don't know if this is much help as I'm not doing transfers at this stage but I had pessarie support last month and got af about 3 days after I stopped taking them. Not sure if they prevent af or not though.... sorry!

AFM - I'm having these strange stabbing pains really low down if I've been sitting and get up too quickly... anyone have any idea what that's all about? Never had that before. I also am NOT impressed with the bloody pregnyl hormones! I yelled at a McDonalds worker yesterday afternoon, told her she was NOT helpful then went home a burst into tears! All because they were booked on the day I wanted to have my ds's party! I feel like I should take her in a box of choccies or something to apologise
Hi Kittycat27 - I had Crinone for my 1st fresh transfer and AF arrived on time and wasn't delayed at all, I think it can but not in everybody. The other thing is how many days was your Emby.. Day 3 or Day 5 cause if it's a Blast then AF always "seems" to arrive earlier cause of short turn around after putting it back in.. Good luck sweetie.. i really hope the back pain is a good thing..
I've lost my good feeling and I think AF will probably arrive on Thursday.. Bring on BFP's for everyone else though..

i am feeling a little better after talking to my nurse.
my embies were only day 2's. one was 6 cell and the other was 4 cells. they were transfered in on day 19. but i do suffer from bad AF pains as i have endo. the pain usually starts 2-3 days before AF in my lower back like it is today.
so after starting off this tww all confident and calm, i'm now a walking disaster zone.
anyway, hope you all have a good night!

have to wait to see if any of the others can be frozen, but that is the least of my worries.........
after egg collection i felt like i could just EXPLODE. Luckily i seem to have "gone down" now! Honesty, i reckon i could've gone up two sizes with all the bloating.

Kittykat - I get cramps from the progesterone the whole way through the 2WW. They sometimes get quite bad about one week after EPU/ovulation. It's unfortunate because the 2WW makes you want to analyse every twinge and most people tell me that pregnancy feels the same.

bridget.. so sorry to hear of your BFN. there is really nothing worse.
the feelings and cramps you have do make you wonder. when you have them you think it's bad/good then when you don't have them it's also bad/good! what the?????
i have a DD 4.5 and she was natural. the problem is that i didn't have any symptoms, tww or drugs so this time is simply torture. it's just as hard and confussing for secondary infertility because it's like trying for the first time. goodluck with your next attempt. i want to see you have a BFP!
jayejaye..welcome to the TTWW(terrible two week wait!) i hope that your bloated feeling stays away. i had it in my EPU last year. my daughters daycare teacher had her EPU back in march and was really bloated, had terrible pains and then i think they said it was OHSS. but guess what, yes in her first ivf she had a BFP. there is deffinetly light at the end of the tunnel.
lilmisshavachat..goodluck with your last little frosty. i justed used my last two. i'm pinning all my hopes on them as i am not sure when if ever i can go back. it's not fair to keep pouring money into it and let DH and DD suffer. i think i will move on and get a new focus. everyone thinks i'll get UTD then!! hahaha
sharin1977.. i also had some strong stabbing pains yesterday on my left side. pulling almost. the problem is all the crinone and estrogen give everyone such different symptoms. who really knows. but i know what you mean about hormones. i got really cranky with my boss and almost quit yesterday. do they have any idea of the trauma we are undergoing?? physically and mentally?? no!
