    Hey girls,

Lurking as usual....hoping all of you will get BFP's and your 2WW doesn't make you go too crazy. (well any crazier!! )
This is what I used as a guide to what happens after transfer...take with a grain of salt but you get the general idea. I hope it helps.

    5 day transfer-
-1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
0dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
1dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
2dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
3dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
4dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
5dpt.. Morula is completely implanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
    fetal cells
6dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
7dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
8dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
9dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on HPT

Hey all, lots of activity in here at the moment.

Bridget I'm really sorry to hear about your BFP. It is so hard and so heartbreaking. I hope you manage to find some peace about it soon.

As for everyone second-guessing their symptoms, I have had the lot with IVF - bloating, stabbing pains, breast discharge, AF cramps, nausea. All my 3 IVF attempts have had combinations of all these symptoms in various degrees.

This time I have to say I'm optimistic. My BT is tomorrow and the HPTs are showing consistent dark positives even though it has been 4 days since my last Pregnyl. I thought the line would get darker over time but as my hubby said maybe it only gets so dark? If I do have a BFP tomorrow, I have to say my symptoms have not been much different from my previous BFNs! Also, I have had 2 prenancies in the past and in both I had implantation bleeding, but if this is a BFP I have had no bleeding. So really, unless your tracking with HPTs I think you are really none-the-wiser with the syptoms.

Littlemisshaveachat, Sahron1977, Kittycat, Loops12 and Jayejaye - hope you're all going along OK and sticky vibes to all of you. This 2WW has really tested me and driven me nuts, and definately worse in the second week. Hope you guys are coping OK.

    Hugs

Hey everyone, I'm in here too. Been keeping away as was on a break. Tried to go back last month for an FET but only got a 17 day cycle! After a perfect 27 days the month we took off :s Awesome.

Anyway, I have a BT on Monday too and I have to say, I'm over the drugs already. I know they're there for a purpose, but I'm on a HRT cycle as I didn't ovulate, so if all goes well and I DO get the BFP we're waiting on, I still have to take the Progynova pills and progesterone pessaries x3 daily for the first trimester. The things we do for our kids, eh? I'm just over being "goopy"!

Sorry for the vent, hope everyone is travelling well and Bridget, take care of yourself my dear. It's hard, I know.

Bridget - I'm sorry to hear about your BFN. It's just heartbreaking. I hope you're taking care of yourself.

JVol - sounding very positive for your BT tomorrow. Good luck and I have my fingers crossed for you.

Meo - I know exactly how you feel about the HRT FET cycle. I'm on 6mg (3 tablets) Progynova per day but I'm only on 2 x progesterone pessaries per day (compared to your 3 per day). I've also been told that if I fall pregnant, I'll have to stay on the pregesterone and Progynova for the first trimester. And to top things off, I had a blood test yesterday (which was 3 days post ovulation), so they could check progesterone levels. Mine weren't as high as they wanted, so to try something new - warning TMI about to come - I am now having to insert the pessaries rectally, instead of the usual method of vaginally. According to my FS and nurse, the hormone is absorbed heaps better (up the butt) and they've already had success with changing to that method for some girls. My nurse told me about a girl they have that had a progesterone level below 30 on Monday, so they told her to take the pessaries rectally. Then follow up blood test for her on Wed (only 2 days later), it was 450!!! So I'm just hoping that my levels increase that well. I have another blood test tomorrow (which is transfer day) so my fingers are crossed for high progesterone levels. I just can't believe what I have to do to try and fall pregnant though. It's just ridiculous!!

    That's me over and out.

    Wishes xoxo

JVol - best of luck for your bt tomorrow!!!

Meo - looks like Monday will be d-day for a few of us!!!

Wishes - I feel for you.... pessaries.... yuck!!!! I only had 1 x day last month (vaginally), I can't imagine having them rectally!?!?!

AFM - I amost fainted yesterday, whole room started swaying and my stomach felt like it was on a rollercoaster, don't know if that's a good sign or not, and this afternoon I've been doing repeated 'spew burps'. Not nice, but maybe something? Who knows, I'm prob clutching at straws!!! Got 4 more sleeps and my fantastic boss has offered to get a replacement for me for Monday so I can spend the day with dh (who's on leave before starting a new job), coz he knows how emotional and stressfull bt day can be! I love my boss!!!!

    Best of luck everyone!

Bridget - I'm so sorry for your BFN.. Be kind to yourself sweetie
Jodz - Thanks heaps for that chart.. I have some renewed hope going by that..
Jayejaye - I hope your bloating has stayed down and your Blasty is settling in nicely..
JVol - I'm so excited for you.. It's sounding so promising.. Good luck with your BT tomorrow.. I look forward to your announcement..
Kittycat27 - How are you going Hun?.. I hope that your symptoms are because there is a big fat BFP waiting at the end..
Meo - I hope you are going ok.. I'm a BT'er on Monday.. Let's hope it's a good day for it.. I must say (you will hate me) but i'm so glad i'm on a natural FET.. I couldn't stand the Crinone for a stim but pessaries icky... You're a better woman than I am..
Wishes - You are THE Woman... Super woman at that.. I am never going to complain about the things I have to do because you have a heap more Brownie points than me.. Let's hope you can cash in those Brownie points for a BFP come BT day...
Sharon1977 - Yay for Monday off.. What a lovely boss you have... If I make it to Monday I will be ecstatic.... AF has arrived 4 days before BT day both times i've had a TF... I have already briefed work that tomorrow might be melt down day and that if it is I won't be in... I think you symptoms sound promising... Good luck Hun...
Loop12 - How are you going Sweetie.. I hope you're still sane...

AFM - I don't know how I feel... I had a friend over for dinner and she told me that she felt good strong energy coming from the picture I have of my Emby on the fridge taken on TF day and that she thinks i'm PG.. (IVF survivor so i'm happy for a comment like this from her..) I'm not convinced.. POAS showed no second line this morning (DH away for 5 days so was hoping something might show up before he goes) but going by Jodz timeline i'm 7dpt so not a lot og HCG going round if I am in fact UTD... So I wait.. Bring on Monday ladies..

Hi all - I just got a BFP!!!!

Amazing and I really cant believe it!! I really thought I would NEVER get here - my sister even offered me one of her eggs last week!!

Thanks to everyone on this site for your support and sharing stories. It really does help in the 2WW.

For those of you still waiting, the only symptom I had this cycle that were different from the failed ones was constipation - storry TMI. I used First Response Early HPTs from 8 DPO and really didn't suspect anything from those until 13DPO (I'm 17 DPO now).

My other symptoms were (but which I also had with the other failed attempts) - breast soreness, AF-type cramping, nausea, insomnia. Sorry I know this doesn't help anyone much, all I can say is hang in there!!

My hormone levels are all good so fingers crossed!!

Hugs and sticky sticky sticky vibes!! Stay sane over the weekend and all the best for Monday.

    Hi all,

I am a newby to this site but have been lurking for a while, it is so good to read everyone's stories and see that what I am going through is completely normal!

I had to jump and in say, congratulations Jess!!! Love hearing of a BFP! Makes feel like it can actually happen.

AFM - I am having my day 5 blasty transfer tomorrow, so started the progesteron last night! Also started acupuncture for the first time a few weeks ago and I have to say it seems to have made a difference...we'll see if it makes the ultimate difference soon enough!

Good luck to those with their BT's Monday!

Thanks JLM, and good luck with that blastie. I did acupuncture the first time and this last time. The first time though I had an acupuncturist who I thinjk was a real rip-off - she really didn't seem to care about anything bbut taking my money. The last time I found a better one and he was great - I felt very nurtured. Maybe that was why things were different this time but who knows!!

    All the best.

    Congratulations JVol!!!!
we are all so happy for you. everyone deserves a BFP! esp all the LTTTC's!!

aft.. i have had breast soreness, AF-type cramping, nausea, insomnia. but i am loosing a bit of confidence as it is not as bad as it was last night. i know all these symptoms are also caused by the pessaries so it's hard to stay confident, especially when they may be fading. i still ahve another week to wait. i am going to POAS monday. i don't care...i didn't do any pregnyl shots so i think it will be fine!!
    bye

JVol - Congratulations girlfriend. I'm so happy that it's finally worked out for you. good luck with the pregnancy.

Sharon - Good luck for your blood test on Monday. Fingers crossed for you.

Lilmisshavachat - Thanks for the super woman comments. Hadn't really thought of myself like that. I just hope that it's worth it and I get a BFP out of it. Good luck for your upcoming blood test.

JLM - Good luck for your ET tomorrow. I hope it sticks.

AFM - Had 2 x day 5 blasties transferred today, so I guess I have officially started the waiting game for another cycle. They thawed the 2 blasties and they both survived which is great. It means we still have 3 frozen blasties. Had acupuncture twice today (before and after transfer), so I'm hoping that all this will help the little embies stick. Also had a follow up blood test today to check progesterone levels. It's been 2 days since my last blood test where my progesterone level was only 27. Since Wed night, I have been taking the pessaries rectally (have taken 4 pessaries rectally since my last blood test), and my progesterone level today was 81 !! I had also done a Pregnyl booster last night too, so that probably helped with the elevated level. My FS wants the level over 60 so I should be happy with 81. I have another BT on Monday to check the levels again, and hopefully it continues to rise. I feel like such a pin cushion at the moment between blood tests and acupuncture.

Anyway, my pregnancy BT is set for Monday 17th August, so here's hoping.

    Hi Ladies
Just a super quick one as Im buggered - just got back from summit in Bendigo tonight.

A huge Congrats JVOL, all the best for H & H pregnancy.

AFM - Ive had a bit of AF type pain earlier on but that is the only pg type symptom. I have a bad period like headache that I always getting leading upto AF so Im really thinking this is not it. I dont want to be negative but I also had a sore lower back this morning which I also get when AF is coming. So Im losing a bit of hope right now and our other eggs werent good enough to be frozen in the end.
Only other pg type symptom i have is that Im emotional but I think that is because Im thinking the worst. Sorry for the negativity.

Hope you are all well xo
