JVol - Congratulations!!!! That's fantastic news! It's so nice to hear a success story!!!!

No time for personals at the moment, my house is like a zoo and I'm in major budgeting mode!

Quick question - I had my last pregnyl injection on Wed night, if I poas now is there a chance I'll get a false positive? This is the last month doing ovulation induction, moving to full IVF mid Sep and freaking out about cost etc... So hoping it's worked this month, I know I only have 1 more sleep to wait but I'm going INSANE!!!!

    Thanks!

hi sharon, i am pretty sure i heard you have to wait at leat 7-10 days after your pregnyl shot to get an honest test. you are better to wait until the blood test. i did a preg test last aug when i was doign my first IVF and had the pregnyl shot. i got a positive home preg test, but blood test showed non- viable pregnancy. it was high enough to give a reading but not high enough to be pregnant.

so even though it is hard to wait, you may save yourself some heartache...
hope this helps. sorry to be blunt!

    Hi everyone,
haven't been on the site much for a long time...first congratulations to all the recent BFPs....

Just found this thread, and I guess I'm a member if I may join in. I'm on my 2nd IVF (first resulted in me getting AF on Mothers Day - (for 2nd year in a row) day before my bt result...which turned out to be a faint positive - so miscarrying.

So fresh cycle, one popped back and two frozen. EPU 3/08 and ET 5/08 with BT on 20/08.
I have mum-in-law and bro-in-law here from UK and I thought it'd be difficult but in fact it's been a great distraction. Plus noone will let me do anything around the house ... so I'm trying to relax, stay positive, and not think about it too much.

2nd week's always harder as we know...not looking forward to it.

Good luck to everyone in same boat!

    JVOL - congratulations!!

Looks like tomorrow is a big day for a lot of the girls.
    Good luck everyone -

AFM - feeling very dodgy today, not sure whats going on. Also had a few spots, was thinking could be implantation bleeding, am 4 days past blastie transfer. BT not until monday week, but AF due on Friday and normally is early, so if i make it to monday i will be happy.

Have a good week girls. Positive thoughts.

    Hi all,

Have any of you experienced pain a day or couple of hours after your transfer? I've been having period like pains today and only had my day 5 transfer yesterday. I will call my nurse tomorrow but wanted to hear from all of you!

Apologies for no personals, I hope you are all going well!

    Thanks

    Hi Everone..
I won't go into any personals cause i'm super knacked but I just wanted to post that I did a POAS this morning and got 2 lines, so I did another and came up 2 lines again.. I know some of you will think i'm mad for getting too excited before BT confirmation but I have decided to behave like anyone TTC'ing who has never had the fun taken out of it all by IVF so i'm putting the fun back in and declaring I'm Pregnant... For anyone testing tomorrow.. I've had no symptoms other than sore (O)(O) and I get them before AF.. Have had some cramping and pulling but nothing of note so don't give up.. I only tested this morning to put my feet back on the ground with a negative cause I have never been late for AF and I was hoping a negative would settle me.. Didn't quite work out that way..

Wow! lilmisshavachat ! Congratulations! I have everything crossed for you that your bt reflects your good news on the stick!

I've been up since bloody sparrows fart this morning, trying to guage the level of crampiness in my belly compared to the level of pain in my boobs. All I can say now is my nipples are killing me!!

Off to shower and be at the bt bright and early in hope of not pro-longing the dreaded waiting day!

    GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!

Lilmisshaveachat - A huge CONGRATS!! So All the best for a H&H pregnancy. x

AFM - AF has arrived today - well 99.9% sure i guess as i still have BT on Thursday which is probably going to be a bit pointless. Im probably going to be out of here for quite a while as we dont have any money to try again just yet. Im going to try some other things for DH and try naturally for a while and will be trying not to stress about anything and then I guess you never know.
Its hard to come in here when you have BFP's to see - i hope everyone undertsands but I will be thinking about you all and have that you do all go well.
I will pop in to see how you are going from time to time though. Wishing you all the very best xxx

I'm so sorry Loops12 that the evil witch has arrived.. When that happened to me I got them to bring my BT forwadr a couple of days just so I knew for sure.. It may help..
Good luck Sharon1977 - Sounds promising.. I had cramp and pulling for quite a few days and sore BB's but they were exactly like AF BB's so too hard to tell... I reckon the big indicator for me has been (TMI Warning) constipation... I HOPE TODAY BRINGS YOU GOOD NEWS..

Thanks for that! Have pretty much lost all hope though coz the spotting started as soon as I got home from my bt.

I now have a nice block of fruit and nut choc to munch on while I wait!

Thanks Lilmiss - I called the nurse before and she actually said I could have the BT a day earlier - so at least there is one good thing about that - I will be able to stop doing the horrid Crinone Gel and wont have anymore constipation. thank god.
Thanks for your support and sympathies. x

Sharon - I hope the spotting is not AF and you get a good BT result.

    hi all,
so sorry to hear your news sharon1977 and loops12. i am shattered for you both. i am in the same boat as you Loops12. i can't affard to go anymore. physically and financially.

i hope all is good and positive for you lilmisshavachat!!!

asm...i do however feel i am heading in the same direction as both loops12 and sharon1977. i hate to feel so down and out when i still have days to wait, but you just know by all your body signs. i had craps and pulling on the tues 4 days post ET.then on thurs (6 dyas post et)i was sick all afternoon right up until i fell asleep. my (0)(0) were so sore they hurt when i stood up out of bed and bent over! the feelings then dissapeared each day after that. my (0)(0) are still sore but that's fromt he pessaries. i did a POAS this morning and no dble lines. so i think by day 10 post ET i would have got something??
anyway. BT is now on thursday, so will hld out till then.
goodluck all the girls trying this month!

So sorry Sharon - I know how you feel. Big hugs and hang in there - we'll pull through together. GL for future trying xo

Kittycat - I so hope you're wrong about AF - I hate it when others go through it too. I still have everything crossed for you.
I might look at doing IUI again after a few months - just because it is cheaper. I really dont know - have to make an appointment with my FS and see what he thinks.
I really hope this is it for you and you dont have to worry about these things. All the very best x.

    HI all,

Loops12 - so sorry for you - i know what you mean about coming in here and seeing BFP's when you havent had one. It's hard, even though you are happy for the other girls.

kittycat27 - 3 more days so hang in there!

sharon1977 - so sorry for you, hope you are ok.

lilmisshavachat - awesome news for you!!

And, it breaks my heart to hear you girls say that you wont be back because you cant afford it. When they changed the rules i wrote an email to julia gillard - it was just after our first BFN and i was really emotional. I told her how totally soul destroying it is to deny couples this treatment due to the economics of it all. She never responded. I think i will try it again. I really hope all the girls can have access to IVF, without having to worry about the cost - it's already cruel enough what we go through.

AFM: no news is good news.

    good luck girls.

    Hi girls

Just wanted to pop in and say how very sorry I am for those of you who have had BFN's (loops and sharon). It's completely devastating and I know how hard it must be. I really hope you all get your BFP's very soon.

Lilmisshavachat - congrats on the POAS positive. Hope the blood test confirmed this. Let us know.

Jayejaye - looks like you and I are testing on the same day (17 Aug). That will be 15dpo for me, and I'll be lucky if I make it that far. My tradition is that AF usually arrives around 13dpo which will be Saturday, so I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Good luck to you.

Sorry for no more personals, but I have to get to work.

Good luck to everyone in the TWW.

    Wishes xoxo
