mitf - I am so stoked for you and what a great result after you were feeling so down a happy and healthy pregnancy to you sweets!
Jasminstar - one thing this journey teaches us is that we are all different - my mum had five kids too and no m/cs and keeps saying really helpful things like...I don't know what the problem is - I just had to look at your father to get pg. The best result is a BFP a helthy pregnancy and your beautiful baby at the end...good luck darling.
Sal - it could be a slow developer or a chemical pregnancy - you will need to get a BT to confirm wither way - I hope it's good news.
Seph - Hang in there buddy - you know it's too early to POAS. Go to acupuncture and chill out for a bit.
mellmell - The line - "well it's gonna be one drunk baby this weekend" can only really be understood by women in our position - I very nearly wet myself honey - hilarious. It's her job to be positive and she probably does that for the one in 20 times she is right...I'm sorry it upset you so much.
AFM - feeling sniffly, chunky, cranky and other assorted dwarves who didn't make the cut.
Love to all
Delly
Thanks for all your well wishes. DH & I are very excited and praying that my levels continue to rise nicely over the next few days.
Jasminstar - All the best for your BT today. I can't wait to hear confirmed news.
Sal - sorry to hear that it is a BFN for you. Your HPT second line does sound a little odd. Are you having a BT to confirm what's going on? It may have been a chemical pregancy. It's great that you are able to get back into your second attempt so quickly though and I wish you all the best.
Mellmell - truly sorry to hear about your BFN too. Enjoy the party tomorrow and all the best for your next cycle.
Taurean - not long to go now. I have had quiet a bit of cramping too so hopefully it is a good sign. All the best for your BT on Saturday. I truly hope that shoes fit and it brings the answer to your prayers.
Seph - thanks you the vibes. Luckily I had heard of someone else having to do rectal pessaries in the LTTTC thread so it wasn't such a shock when the clinic nurse asked me to do it. Apparently the progesterone is absorbed better. The things we are willing to do to try and get pregnant!
Airline, Beata, Dellydoo, Loondonmiss, Loops, MrsP, TLO & everyone else - a big hello and I hope you are well. Enjoy the weekend!
Airline - A big congrats - good luck for your blood test. Zone out & relax as much as you can.
Mrs P - I feel for you. There's not much one can say, but I understand all too well. I hope you have good support around you.
Jasminster - Great signs!! Good Luck .
Mitf - I've never had a tentative BFP - I'm looking forward to hearing your confirmed news.
Taurean - Good Luck with for tomorrow's BT.
Sal79 - Keep me posted with your updates. I'd like to know too.
Seph - My thoughts are with you. I know that feeling all too well, unfortunately. Be kind to yourself.
Mellmell - Have a drink for me! You absolutely cracked me up. Never feel like you're ranting - that's what we're here for.
Dellydoo - If I wasn't an only daughter, I'd be asking if we had the same mother. I have 4 older brothers and my Mother is constantly making sweeping comments like "Your Father only had to drop his pants at the end of the bed and I was pregnant!" She can't understand why I'm not the same. She blames my husband - but he's perfectly fine!!! I think she thinks it's a bad reflection on her??? Not sure. Well, if I ever get to be a Mother - I'll certainly know how not to act. I know they dont' mean anything - but it sure is frustrating...
AFM - I had a cranky pants day yesterday - I completely feel sorry for my team. But today, I've decided I'm going to be nice to EVERYBODY!!! and see how that goes. I'm ignoring my ridiculously large BB, while mentally designing a wheelbarrow that can carry them throughout a pregnancy. I don't know how women do it? And why is my DH so fanscinated with them? They're sore!!!! Just hanging in there with the headaches. I have a weekend ahead of BBQ's without drinking & without everyone asking questions as to why. But - it's all for a good course!!!
Good Luck again to all those with BT's. Figners crossed!!!
Ladies don't have time for a proper message....there's so much to read since my last post!! Off to cinema with friend...looking for a giggle, cos I'm weeping at drop of hat.
Will be more personal next time,x
This is my first time in participating in a chat room and I have finally built up the courage to join in after reading all the support that you guys give each other
I am currently on my 2WW and are due to test next Wednesday. My first IVF fresh cycle didn't stick and I have been praying that this might be the one.
Unfortunately I have been experiencing cramping allot like AF yesterday and today (day 3 and 4 post ET ) and am starting to freak out a little as this happened with my fresh cycle and it was a BFN (I got AF 8 days post ET).
It is so great to be able to see that I am not alone on this roller coaster (I swear one minute I am at peace and confident and then the next I could just cry) and that people really do get BFP's
PS: A BIG GOOD LUCK to all those who are also on the 2WW

Ooh it's hard to keep track of everyone on this thread!
Delly - thank you for your thoughts and you cracked me up with your 'dwarves' quote
jasmine - OMG that's wonderful...a tentative is still a step closer to our dream. How'd you go today?
mitf - let's hope our no.s both rise over next few days girlfriend!! enjoy your weekend, take it easy.
beata, loops and lilmiss - thank you for your wishes...it's so nice to be able to share, it keeps the positive vibes going
Taurean - sorry about the distended belly and the constipation...but I have to say SNAP! I'm hoping that's a good sign. I'm finding I only want to eat smaller portions than normal and I've had a little constipation last 2 days also. Trying to increase my water/fruit/veg intake.
Sal - my only experience was on first round of IVF where I'd started to bleed heavily 2 days before BT but test came back positive-but low figures, so indicated a m/c. I hope you have some better news for us when you sign on next.
persephone - you might not feel it, but you write like you're pretty centred at the mo. I salute you for that...any negative result is crap, but certainly the acu will help you chill as much as you can.
mellmell - sorry about your news and the thoughtlessness of some folk. a good perk to be able to get your bloods done...I'd be doing mine every day!! I wish they'd let me do mine again on Fri and give results on Sat...but they don't do results on Sat.
don't feel bad about what you said...I'd have said the same thing!
tlo - I have a problem with large funbags at the best of times so I'm terrified of them getting bigger...although like you said it's a good cause 'n all! I also have 2 social events (one with all my work colleagues) where I've got to pretend that I had a 'big night' the night before - not that I'm an alchy...but it's unlike me to say no to wine
coral - hey and welcome to the madhouse. You're over the longest part of the 2ww...just a hop, skip and a jump to go. Discomfort, bloating, twinges, sharp pains, sore/sensitive nipples, achy boobs, very mild nausea, small appetite, and very tired all the time are all symptoms I've had this time. My first stim cycle didn't work out either, so fingers crossed it's 2nd time lucky for us.
AFM - girlies, I've had a mixed day. DH and I are enjoying the positiveness, and praying it lasts. Up early this morning to take my folks to airport - gonna miss them more than realised, and DH didn't want to tell them till 12weeks, so that was hard.
Then my neighbour/friend invited me to go to cinema to see The Ugly Truth - Ladies...go see this film!! Everyone on this thread should as it's funny, uplifting and most importantly there's not a baby in sight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler (yum in a rough way!) and let me just say we both had tears rolling down our faces in a scene featuring some vibrating knickers in a restaurant...beats Meg Ryan's scene hands down SO FUNNY! Please go see, I promise it'll cheer you up, if only for an hour and a half!!!
Today is my first 24 hours with no drugs....no sniffing, or injections, or int the last fortnight progesterone pessaries and I'm not sure I like it. It's like my body has to do it all alone now with no help. For any nurses out there (mellmell??) if they said my BT progesterone levels were really high, then does that indicate my body's already taken over the caretaking of my little clover? (DH and I call it that as it looked like a 4 leaf clover under microscope just before transfer. )
Hi Ladies, a really quick one - typically today has been the busiest at work in weeks so just here with results:
BFP! Delighted. EGC levels are over 200 so they said that was an excellent sign. Pregesterone is over 400 (might explain some of the constipation Taurean ) Anyway my Darwin trip may be shortened which is good as they want me in for follow up BT next week and then scan soon after.
Will write again properly later but for now gotta dash (haven't even had a chance to call DH yet - just a text as he's working!)
Thanks for the reply! Still feels like forever away before BT (at this stage I would be happy to just make it to the BT as with you, not so lucky last time..).
The only other symptoms I've had are bloating and that I'm not really all that hungry today.
Excellent news Jasminstar - All the very best for a H&H pregnancy!
So glad the BFP's keep coming.
So
Airline - I loved the 'Ugly Truth' too. How good is the undy scene and its good for a perve too - Gerard Butler and the other guy are a bit of eye candy
Jasminstar - Congratulations! So happy for you and DH. Wishing you all the best for a H&H 9 months. Hope that you get to go home soon so you can celebrate with DH.
BFN for me again ladies, had a red show this afternoon.
I'll be under my rock if anyone's looking for me - but please, no worrying for me, I'm doing okay, just trudging along to FET#7 next month - blasty time!
Congrats Jasminstar, thinking of you and everyone else still in here.
Seph - I'm so sorry. I know how hard it is and I have my fingers crossed for you next time. It really should be like the deli and everyone should have to take a number.
AFM - i'm in the 2WW but i've been a bit quiet because I'm well and truly over it.
I was searching the other day for people who've tried multiple times and ended with success. I don't mean 2 or 3 or 4 attempts, I'm talking 13 or 14 or 21 ivf attempts before success. Anyway, I found some and it really did cheer me up.
Hope you don't mond me poping in! I am half way though the hellish TWW I had 2 beautiful 2 day embroys transfered last sat and my b/t is this coming friday.
Has anyone else done a pregynl injection after their et? I did 1 on Wednesday and this is the first time I have ever done it
Congrats to the lets hope there are lots more to come
OMG.... So much has happened since I posted my BFN on Monday. Not sure if I'll be able to cover everyone, but will do my best.
Thanks to all the girls for your support after my BFN. Was a pretty flat day for me on Monday when I found out, but the support from BB helps.
Jasminstar - CONGRATS!!!! Those levels are fantastic. Wishing you a H&H pregnancy.
Mift - I have my fingers crossed for you that your levels continue to rise over the weekend. I'm hoping that you have a better result than I did with your scenario, as that is exactly what happened to me. I had a BHcG level of 10 on 11dpo, but sadly, things didn't progress. I hope they do for you though. What day dpo were you when you got the BT results with your bHcG level of 21? I'm just curious. And that girl you remembered who was doing pessaries rectally was me!! It's definitely not a pleasant experience, but it certainly did work better for me. My progesterone levels were heaps higher after doing the pessaries rectally. I think doing them up my hoo-haa, it was all just falling out.
Taurean - I have my fingers crossed for your BT tomorrow. Can't wait to hear the results. I really hope it's a BFP for you. Keep us posted.
Seph - Hey there hun. I was glad to see you back in the TWW, but sad to just read your post that you think it's another BFN. I really hope that it's not. Definitely go for blastie stage next time. Well worth it I think. I remember doing our first ICSI cycle, and I was really amazed at how many embies dropped off from Day 3 to Day 4 of development. So any that get to Day 5 blastie have a fighting chance. If this one is a BFN for you, I will be hoping and praying with all my heart that the next one will be your turn. I think you deserve it - you've been through enough already.
Dellydoo - OMG how are you!!! I have been wondering where you've been. Have been thinking about you. Good luck for your BT next week (I think that's when you said it is). You too are also in line for a BFP. It's definitely time.
Londonmiss - I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I think I may have been in the TWW at the same time you got your BFP. I can't even imagine how you must be feeling right now. It is just devastating. Be kind to yourself and know that you have the support of everyone on BB.
AFM - Although I only got my BFN on Monday, I'm back on the FSH injections again tonight for a new cycle. Our FS had said that if the FET didn't work, we could go straight into a fresh stimulated cycle. After going off the pessaries on Monday, it only took AF 2 days to arrive, which was on Wednesday (which is not too bad, as I've heard other girls say their AF could be delayed by up to a week coming off the pessaries). So I guess I'll be back in the TWW in a few weeks from now.
Oh Jasminstar - Well done! Congratulations! I am so veryu happy for you. What a journey so far? And to think that at one stage, your FS wasn't going to go ahead with ET because of OHSS! I hope you're enjoying the news. Bravo!
Twins maybe??? Thanks for the positivity re constipation and progesterone levels.
BT in morning between 7 & 8. Results by lunchtime hopefully. Watch this space. At least no AF yet.
Seph - Sorry lovey. Thinking of you.
Mitf - Hope those levels are rising.xx
Super short from me as I have just arrived home from work function with school parents. Drank mineral water for 3 hours, avoided smoked salmon & prosciutto finger food. Now home, showered, eating peanut butter toast and ready to hit the hay.
Hi to everyone else. More to post tomorrow when I get BT result .
Without a level from a previous attempt to compare there is a slim chance that your high levels are from the progesterone support, however it is far more likely that it is due to your little clover doing the right thing and supporting the pregnancy just like a ala naturelle pregnancy in combination with the drugs. Your FS would not stop your meds if they believed there was the slightest chance of progesterone insufficiency.
Have a great weekend girls, and thanks for your support........it really helped me turn my "poor old me" corner and now im ready to party!!!!!!!!!
