Nixon & Bei I am looking forward to you joining us tomorrow!
I am also in the TWW, 2DPO but not hanging onto hope this cycle, just going with the flow until I can get my HSG results back.
ohhhhhh best of luck OO...hang in there..
Hey Oscar,
I'll be joining you tomorrow at some stage. I'm still waiting to hear from the nurse co-ordinator about the time for transfer tomorrow.
BeiBei, Minnie: I hope all is going well. See you there officially tomorrow.
X
Best of luck for tomorrow Nic...we'll be waiting...:p
Oh yeah ladies, I am totally here...bring on the anxious nerve-wrecking emotional TWW...but thank god I have your girls.
Just posted in the LTTTC thread about my little adventure at my transfer...I was so relieved that I didn't get that dreadful phone call before the procedure, luckily our Olympics embie survive, well, by then I only won half the battle.
My transfer usually hassel-free, in and out 5 minutes, this time, I got my money worth. I made them do twice. :D First time, FS can't get the catheter into the right angle of my uterus. I have to empty my bladder to kick it into shape, well, it worked. Second time, my snow bub is on board!
Did some acupuncture this afternoon and I feel exhausted. Surprised how the little procedure like this can take so much out of you. Well, have ordered take away and plan to watch dvd for the rest of evening.
Minnimouse, PMed you and just saw the post, glad all went well. Oscar, hope you are doing ok 2 days into TWW...
Best of luck Nixon for tomorrow and let us know how you go....
Thanks Minnie. :p right back at ya.
I'm off to Acupunture at 8.30 then transfer at 12 then back for acupuncture at 1.30.
I don't think I'm going to be able to sit still for long today and tomorrow - well, if I'm honest for the next 2 weeks.
Ugh!! More waiting....awesome.
I'm taking my camera to the transfer - the scientist said I might be able to get a pic before they transfer.
Nerves nerves.
See you later!!
:hello: ladies,
Thought i might join in - had my FET transfer on Tuesday 19th and have blood test on Fri 29th so not a TWW for me only 10days.
Wishing every single one of you the very best of luck and to those who missed out this time i am so very sorry - i do totally understand - Lulu is right do something nice for yourself, cry as much as you want and try to look toward the next step - its all we can do.
:bluedust: to you all.
Lissie, so lovely to see u here and congrats on transfer on 19th Aug...mine was yesterday, so 1 day apart...can't believe Lulu had hers on the same day...
Great bunch of TWW buddies....I love it..

Hi everyone joining you as of today
Wow...It's busy in here now!
Just wishing you all easy breezy TWW's. I hope everyone manages to keep their minds occupied (says she who goes BONKERS in the TWW!!)
Thinking of you all and hoping so much that this cycle brings wonderful news for each and everyone of you.
Stay strong
Hugs Bel
Hello Girls,
Futuremum - Hi. Welcome. How are you travelling so far?
Bei Bei - How are you doing sweets? Feeling positive I hope
Lissie - Hi. Welcome - How ae you finding it so far?
Oscar - How are you? Are you happy with everything so far?
AFM - Transfer went ahead on time yesterday. All looked good - apparently the ling looked fab, so I guess there is not much else I can do now but wait.
My BT is supposed to be in 10 days - that's what the Dr said, but they booked me in for the 1st of Sept. I don't know whether they did that because the 31st is a sunday ? They said I could go in and get it done on the 31st, but that it may need to be repeated.
What do you guys reckon? I would kind of like to hear if it is a BFP or BFN at home with my husband if it is at all possible. I don't know how I would react at work?
I'm thinking Sunday. But would like to hear some other opinions.
Thinking of you all.
M-wha
Nic,
Glad the transfer all went smoothly...now the waiting begins.
I can understand that you want a Sunday test so you can digest the result. I think SIVF normally give 11 days between transfer and pg test. So my b/t is on 31 Sunday and I had transfer a day before you. So yours on 1st September sounds right to me, not because it is a Sunday. But as you said, if you want to do it earlier, they can always accommodate anyway. They are really nice about it which is the way I love.
But man, I think I won't be waiting that long anyway, I plan to do POS Thursday or Friday if I can control myself, that's just seems miles away from now thought...
Hope everyone else keep entertained over the weekend, have a good one!
Nixon,
I can understand you wanting to do it on Sunday and not be at work to get the news.
I always have BT day off work cause i just know that if its a BFN i will cry and thats not good when you are on the front desk and there is no back up and i just would not have my mind on work - everytime the phone rang i would think its them, and you know everytime i have received the wonderful call of BFP i have cried too so i just take the day off - can you take Monday 1st off work?
Hello ladies
Well as of today i am officially in the TWW and i have come to join you.
I had my very first transfer done at 8.30am this morning with a very good looking 8 cell embryo tranferred.
Best of luck to everyone on this journey may all your dreams come true.
Sending everyone lots of:
:stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy:
Love Mel
Hey everyone.
Thanks for the advice.
Lissie - ideally I would like to take the day off, but then the waiting around would drive me nuts. Plus, I took two days off this week for transfer. This will be my first + or - phone call so I don't know how Im going to react, but I know what I was like when they told me that the eggs had fertilised. My mum thought it had all gone up the swanny because I was crying so much when I called
Mel - Congrats on the transfer. I'll be praying tothe fertility gods for you.
BeiBei - Thanks for the info about SIVF.
I had a call this morning from the clinic. They thought that only one of my eggs from day 5 (out of 3 spares) would be worth freezing. Turns out one got frozen on day 5 and the other 2 really kicked it up a notch and improved greatly on day 6 and they were frozen then. So we have 3 frosty bubsicles.
Enjoy your weekends ladies - speak soon.
X
Hi everyone :hello:
Nixon I'm ok just keeping busy, have a welt on my tummy from the pregnyl
Yep I agree re the day off blood test day. It's so difficult when you've already had two days off for the OPU. I will be taking an RDO on the 1st it's already booked.
Usually my bosses are pretty good. I overheard one cow (sorry) pay mistress make a mockery of my day off for blood test day once :(
She was one of those oh I never take days off martyrs but she's gone now :cheer:
Futuremum,
One thing i have learnt over the years is to pay absolutely no attention to any negative talk, pay no attention to what other people think either, its your life, they did what suited them so now its your turn. and hope you are going okay. Not long now and we will all know the outcome and i hope we are all:dance: around.
:bluedust: to everyone.
Been a long time away for me and I was very excited Bel to see you back in the TWW, and was obviously upset for you to hear your recent BFN! How rubbish it is, lost for words.. but you seem to have climbed straight back on that horse again, good for you! you and all the others are amazing ladies.. keep it up girls and am keeping fingers crossed for you Bel for the thaw and TWW.. and all you others howeverso engaged trying to take your mind off things and keeping calm.. power to you all..
well in the morn i have bubsicle tfer so i'll be joining you mon afternoon. i am so excited and even a bit nervous. am a bit worried none my bubsicles will survive thaw? anyway i am praying that this is the one for me.
good luck to all in TWW
Hi Chick-a-dees,
Just checking in. Hope you've all had a lovely weekend.
Me - feeling nada...
Hey ladies,
Just a quick one form me this morning.
JMB - All the best for today. Hope it goes smoothly.
Minnie - I think I'm feeling nada too. I think I'm expecting too much. :dunno:
Mel - How was your weekend?
Bei, Oscar, Futuremum, Lissie - Hope you guys had a great weekend.
So - I think we're all around the same time for BT's anmd results aren't we? Toward the end of this week and over the weekend?
I think I'm going to go for the Sunday BT. Worst case they have to re-do it onthe Monday.
I don't want to sound negative here, but can anyone tell me how I work out when AF should be due? Basically I had two visits quite close together at the start of my ICSI cycle - 1 that started on the 9th of July (which was my lastdrug/hormone free one) then again on the 28th of July (after I started Lurcrin & stopped the pill). I'm a bit confused now. My natural cycle used to be between 30 & 33 days. Any help would be appreciated.
Have a happy day
X
Morning everyone, I got up today and still feeling grump, mood swing over the weekend, so didn't want to drop in to be so negative.
Nic, sorry I am not good at caculating days either especially in a stim cycle, always throw me a bit. Maybe the simpliest way is to count from your EPU day as O day, and then usually 14 days post O day? Some people get positive test even 10dpo.
Like you and Minnie mouse, I don't feel much happening either, just a twige here and there but that maybe due to pessaries...but the whole thing is doing my head in, too much expectation, too much day-counting, I am a bit sick of this game, not feeling positive at all...:wall:
sorry for a self-obsorded venting post.
Don't worry Bei - I'm feeling super cranky too. Bad sign for me - usually a 5 - 7 days before AF arrives. I'm not going to stress over it though - there is nothing I can do but hope and pray that the hatchling has managed to get a good tight grip in there.
In terms of cramps etc - I haven't been quite right since EPU. 14 days post pick up would be the 30th. It's getting better, but still a bit crampy and tender in the lower body area -back and front.
I was so nasty to DH all weekend. I feel terrible. I was a total caffeine fiend prior to transfer and thought it best to pack it in - I think that might be my problem - God, I miss it.
I'm tired all the time and my brain seems like it is running in neutral. I wouldn't mind if I knew it was a result of a BFP, but alas I will have to wait til Sunday. Maybe I'll POAS Friday or Saturday? or do you guys thik I'll be setting myself up for a fall?
X
Well, if I can hold off until Thursday POS, I would be proud of myself ...I have jam packed my schedule for this week, lunch/dinner etc to keep my mind off thing but its not working...
I don't know where all the expectation are coming from (I usually consider myself are pretty cool of handling this ;) but maybe I kind of did whatever I can this cycle, herbs, AP, my girl friends even gave me a parsley plant (yeah, call me crazy) over the weekend (good old wives' tale)....I think I have already set myself up for a failure in some way. Well, if this one doesn't work out, I have decided to go for ICSI rather than IVF next cycle...
Anyway, thanks for listening and I feel better of letting it out...
Hi girls....just back from our holiday to NZ which was a great break And now starting a natural FET cycle.
Just trying to catch up with everyone's news and wanted to quickly say
Bel- so sorry you didn't get your BFP - I came and checked here to see if you did have the good news after all. Fingers crossed for next time.
All the best to everyone else too.
Sadly,I have a bad case of the flu, so won't type more just now.
well hi all
nixon: my cycles were all over the place after first IVF/ ICSI and i got af 5 days late then had 2 days bleed then af again 2 weeks after that. anyway the cycle length so actually it was a 47 day cycle with bleeding in between? who knows.
hope it all works out soon.
beibei: hugs to you
eveyone else: sticky vibes for the remainder of TWW. hoping for lots of BFP in here soon.
afm: well had my bubsicle implanted this morn now testing on 8 sep. two weeks is such a long time!
one bub didn't survive that so got 4 bubs on ice now.
counting down
Hi Everyone
Well i am just plodding along going with the flow have had some pains but i think they are mainly from the EPU also had to put up with a welt on my stomach the size of an egg from the Pregnyl shot but apparently that is a good sign that my body is reacting to it the way it should.
Well unfortunately for me i have to head back to work tomorrow after being off for a week and a half (i have a really understanding boss) and was allowed to take all the time off on sick leave.
Hope everything is going well for everybody
Take Care
Mel
:goodluck:
Hey Mel - It wasn'y as hard to go back to work as I thought. I found myself getting bored and frustrated sitting around at home. At least the days go quick here and with my work it kind of forces you to think about work rather than other things. My boss has been great too. It makes such a difference.
Question: Has anyone else been experiencing the need to pee in the middle of the night and feeling sick at the same time? I feel like I have been drinking a bottle of red wine everynight and waking up at 3am feeling rough. I'm fine during the day though?
Anyway - have a great day.
X
Hey Nixon
I think i have just worked out how you calculate your Af due date you count from the day after epu as being 1 count 14 days cause technically your af arrives 14 days after ovulation and epu is classed as ovulation.
So your pick up was the 16th August so Af should be due on 31st and bloods should be on the 1st if af doesnt arrive, thats how mine has worked out my Af is due 4th and my bloods are on the 5th.
Hope that helped.
Mel
:help:Help - I'm seriously considering testing tomorrow. POS. According to the calculations due date for AF will be Saturday. I have a test that says it can be done up to 5 days before.
Somebody slap me. Am I setting myself up for disappointment here? Will the HcG from the Pregnyl injections be out of my system yet? Last injection was 1500 on Friday just gone.
Am I chancing a false negative or a false positive?
I thought I was doing ok with this until today. :help:
Ahhhhh Nic - I am soooooooooooo the wrong person to ask about POAS.
This is how experienced I am...I finished Pregnyl Sunday so I know it's still in my system. I started testing today and yes there is a line which I know is Pregnyl. So now I test daily to see if it fades or gets darker. Yes I know this is sooooooo sick...but what can I say..I am addicted to POAS. I am one of those people who has to know before the phone call. It's easier for me that way.
I know that's not the answer you were after Nic...I guess it depends on how strong you are. The Pregnyl can take up to a week to fully leave your system, so maybe that helps, but with me I know it it gets darker, aint the Pregnyl.
Goodluck with what you decide..
HAHAHAHAH - that's classic - I actually considered the same thing - but I wouldn't have had a clue about the line getting darker.
I had lunch with a friend today who said that she was surprised how calm I was being.
She can't see inside my head. I think I'm doing a reasonable job of the calm exterior and keeping the crazy b*tch locked up tight in my head - she seems to be able to break out on the Belly forum
I think I'm going to do it tomorrow. I'm a big believer in "it ain't over til the fat lady sings" so hopefully I won't be too destraught if it's not a double line.
I'll let you know how it goes in the morning........
Hey girls - just dropping in to give you lots of :pink-babydust: and :stickyvibesgirl:
Janet - great to see you back in the TWW!
Hope to see you all in the Belly Buddies very soon.
Janie xxx
Nic, if you are looking for someone to slap you, I am definately not the one! The only chance is you will drag me with you...ie. test early ;)
Like Minnie, I am also a person 'to test before phone call', I just have to know. My plan was to test Thursday, which will be one week and one day post transfer. But I can't see harm to do it tomorrow if I can help it....:p
I think it will take 7 days to let pregnl out of your system, but I only have pessary and I don't think that will affect the result...we will see...
Now you've done it.
tomorrow it is
Hopefully you lot won't have to put me back together tomorrow if it's not a great result.
Like I said - fat lady singing.
X
I also just remembered why I decided to test on Thursday as I only have 4 test left in the drawer, I didn't want to get more because I know I will go nuts...so I will be trying very hard not to but if I do, Nic, you are the one to blame...:D
