Hi Bel, you are not alone, I have my FET on Friday, so will be joining you shortly. It's my 3rd TWW, fingers crossed for both of us, my BT is due on the 21st Aug, so will have quite a few more days to wait. In fact I feel like I am waiting already, endlessly counting down days. Praying for a BFP for us both!

Ok so 12 hours down...how many thousand to go???!!!

Baby Dreamtime- I so know what you mean about waiting. All we seem to do is wait wait wait for EVERYTHING on this journey!! That's right...your ET is on 8/8/8...did you ask for 8am??!! Probably pushing it though...FS still probably home then!! Looking forward to having you join me in here. The wait does do my head in. All the best for Fri. I'll be thinking of you.

Lilmisshavachat- Thanks for your kind words of support. You can never have too many of those. All the best for your appointment.

I had a big nanna nap this afternoon so who knows what time I'll go to bed. I'm not working now til after BT so it's all relaxing time for me.

    Hugs Bel

    Hi Bel,
How are you today? I hope you are relaxing and staying positive. I am feeling great, and can't wait for tomorrow. Only weird thing about it is that my DH is in a golf tournament tomorrow so won't be going with me. I have roped in my FIL for support, I hope he will be ok with it all.

ET is scheduled for 10 am, but I am happy with that, gives me a chance to go to accupuncture before. This is my last FET with the frosties from my first stim cycle. I had 5 embies left, FS called yesterday to say that 3 had thawed successfully, and they were waiting for them to start to divide. Because I wasn't keen to do another FET with only 2 frosties, I said to thaw them all, so we will pick the best two out of the 5. And, looking forward, if this month isn't the month, I am keen to do another stim cycle, in both my previous stim cycles my ET was cancelled due to OHSS, then I'll be hoping a fresh embie will be the one. So I guess feeling positive overall.

    Sending your way. xx

Baby Dreamtime Fingers, toes and everything else crossed for you and your transfer. 08.08.08 is a lucky day....I can feel it.

    Bel
I hope that everything is travelling along well for you and that your TWW passes with happiness and good news at the end of it.

I'll be sending guardian angels to watch over you both for the next 2 weeks.

I'm off (08.08.08 please be a good day, please be a good day) for my first U/S since starting Puregon with possible EPU Monday. I'm praying that I'm not too far off my first IVF TWW. It already feels different the TWW when TTC naturally. I'm super excited. I'll be tearing my hair out, but what can ya do?

Baby Dreamtime - Thank you sweetheart. I'm hoping the EPU will be relatively painless and stress free - It's my first one so maybe I'm being naive, but no point stressing about something I cannot change.

ET - I believe we are aiming for a day 5 transfer, so if all goes to plan it will be the 15.08.08. But it's all still a bit up in the air until the U/S tomorrow I guess.

All the best - Not sure if I can stand to wait a whole week to see how things are going for you - oh well - I'll be here when you get back anyway.

    Hi Girls

Baby Dreamtime- Thanks for thinking of me. I'm certainly doing a lot of relaxing and not much else. Such a beautiful day here...yes I live the same place you do!! What clinic are you at. If you don't want to write here you can PM me. I really wish you all the very best for tomorrow. I understand why you have chosen to thaw all 5 embies. I have a really hard situation now. I have only 1 left and mine tend not to survive the thaw well. The embryologist at my clinic really didn't want to thaw all of them. I had 4 frozen at blastie and they thawed 2 first. They survived the thaw but 1 didn't make it overnight...so they thawed another 1 leaving the solitary 1 on ice. I asked yesterday for my next baby (cause this cycle WILL work!!) could I do a stim cycle and they said no...got to use frostie 1st. I have had a cancelled cycle before where my last frosties didn't survive the thaw and it's heartbreaking. It's also really really hard with work cause I can't do my job after a TF. I wish I wasn't thinking about next cycles. I AM being really positive about this cycle but I also need to be realistic so I don't crash and burn ever again. I'll be checking up on you tomorrow to see how everything went, but enjoy the acup beforehand. 10am is a great time for a TF. this is your time

Nixon- All the very best for the US. I totally understand the excitement that comes with your 1st IVF cycle. I still get excited now and I'm on cycle 5!! Let us know the results.

AFM, relaxing, resting, chilling out!! Very hard day on the lounge!!

    Hugs Bel

    Hi Bel,
Glad to hear you are relaxing, what a day for it. I am at John Flynn with Dr Dutt, what about you? I have heard that he can be a bit conservative, but seems happy to transfer 2embies for me, and I feel good about him. He has been listening and changes/tweeks my protocol each time round (gosh it feels like trial and error sometimes) so I am hoping this will be the right one.

I am being positive with you to, this month is the month, no doubt about it!!

But just for arguments sake, isn't it really up to you what happens with your frostie blastie? There should be no reason that you can't go on to a stim cycle next cycle and leave your frostie there for future. Why do you have to use the frostie first, especially if there are chances of a cancelled cycle. How frustrating. I know what it feels like to just want your best chance every try.

I agree, this endless counting down hours/days is so hard. And I know what you mean re hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. I guess we just have to have faith that it will be our turn, soon, next month if not this month.

But, I know it is this month for you!
    Stay positive, fingers crossed, xx

Hi Baby Dream Time.. I don't know much about what i'm up to yet.. Our fist FS appointment was 1 1/2 hours late and kinda got rushed in and back out with "How bout we do these tests then come and see me in 4 weeks" So that is what i'll be doing on Monday.. It looks like there is a swimmer problem and just waiting for confirmation so I can get moving on this... It's a bit weird but i'm really looking forward to getting a plan in place and moving toward my BFP.. It's just other people slowing me down... So all things going well I hope to have a TWW soon.. Good look with your TF tomorrow..

Possums enjoy your holiday! A destress sounds lovely

LilMiss - dont you just hate doctors who are late? I waited an hour today too. Good luck on your journey and I hope your treatment starts soon. Are you thinking of IUI? We have bad swimmers too and we arent sure what the FS will recommend.

sarab - welcome! I hope your stay is short and sweet here. Good luck monday!

AFM I just got back from the doctor, he was testing to see if I had any tumor markers, and liver function, kidney function, thyroid etc, and I seem to be normal (yay!). He was an hour late but the news was good. DH's latest SA was late coming in so I have to go back next week

Ooops just realised I posted in the wrong thread, my apologies.

Hey Possums - yep - We're @ Sydney IVF.It would be funny if we've crossed paths in the foyer at 7am or so waiting for BT or U/S without knowing it. :-)

Enjoy your hols. See you (figuratively speaking) when you're back.

    Hi All,

BabyDreamTime- Wishing you all the very best for tomorrow. I hope everything goes smoothly for you on this most lucky of days...8/8/8!! What a great story to tell your future baby/babies!! It'll officially be the 2 of us here then. We'll go bonkers together!

Sara- 5 fertilised is great. You should be very proud of your little ones! Good luck for Monday. BabyDreamTime and I will be waiting here for you to join us.

Possums my friend- I hope you have an amazing holiday. Enjoy every moment of it and I plan on having good news to tell you when you get back. Stay safe.

AFM, already analysing every twinge, feeling and freaking out with every trip to the toilet. Is my 1st cycle on pregnyl so I think my sore BB's are on account of that. Yep, I've already started feeling myself up too...what a freak!!

I'm being a good wife and am watching football with DH, so I'd better go.

    Night All

    Hi Ladies

Just a gentle reminder that this thread is strictly for TWW chatter, and general posts regarding your cycles should stay in the general LTTTCAC etc discussion threads.

Thanks everyone and wishing you all a speedy TWW
