a long post but wanted to get everyone

JBM, Neptune, Mindy80, Mels77 - sending you hugs. I'm sorry this cycle didn't work for you. Not sure what else i could possibly say, it bloody sucks bbrrh. take care of yourselves.

MissMagpie: Have you given in and done the test today? or will you wait for the BT tomorrow? Good luck good luck good luck.

KellyD: how are you going? did you also do a HPT this weekend? is your BT 27 Nov? that's not long to go.

Dusty: Is your test stil for 28th??? How are you feeling? go babies, go babies.

Gargy: wow, it must be the week of reckoning - i see you are also due for your BT as well. Hope you had a stressfree and AF free weekend.

MegsMum - hope the side effects are lessening and you are starting to feel rather UTD.

WhereTheresHOpe: So we've got same BT date, when was your ET? were they blastos? Good luck.

C2W, Alloy - congratulations and hope you both have healthy, hassle-free pregnancies.

So that means our big dates to watch this week are:
    24/11 - Gargy's BT
    - Miss Magpie BT
    27/11 - Kelly D BT
    28/11 - Dusty BT
    GOOD LUCK ALL

AFM- had transfer yesterday and been jumpiing to conclusions like a lemming off a cliff. Have decided that as i've never actually been preggers i should stop over-thinking everything, be positive and be ready to accept any outcome. Very philosophical of me... just need to convice brain that is the case!

tmi warning - have a question. am on crinone but am not having the issue of 'cottage cheese' at all. should i be? in fact there's nothing? should i be worried? have other side effects so know its working but was concerned there should be some discharge???? sorry tmi.

apolgies for very long post. for everyone.

Janet: it doesn't get easier does it. Hoping for a BFP for you with your FET.

Mindy: Sorry hun. Wishing you all the best with your FET and hoping you are UTD before 2009 begins.

WTH: Welcome hun. So so glad you made it here. I think there are some threads on helping implantation around the place. Perhaps try doing a search. Gentle exercise to keep the blood following to your uterus would be good. I steer clear of stimulants, alcohol (no brainer) and hot baths. Interesting about the warm/cold food idea. I must admit I have been craving crunchy salads this last week and I reckon feed the craving to help with the mental stress

Hayley: Welcome too Grub Hope this is the one and only cycle for you hun. The cottage cheese thing can happen once there is a bit of a build up of crinone in your vagina. My nurse told me that you can digitally remove it every couple of days (probably just prior to your next application) which also helps reduce the feeling of being 'stuffed' with the stuff. HTH!

Mesgmum: Thanks for getting to know you a bit more and about your lovely birds. It is great to have an avvy that reflects bits about us. I love my blue bicycle - can you tell Can't wait to see you with that pg belly and your beautiful parrot and DD.

MissGothePies: One sleep to go! I hope that your HPT yesterday was ok. THinking of you. :saaf:

    KellyD: Good luck today hun.

AFM: my BT is on Wednesday. I am at that stage of the TWW Where I keep asking myself "Am I/Aren't I? Shouldn't I be feeling something by now?" Anyway as long as the witch keeps at bay I am in with a chance.

dusty: thanks for your thoughts, count down to wed for your test. good luck

afm: af has hit with a vengeance today, i hate her so. looking at doing another FET in dec.

good luck to all in tww

Well I probably should have come in here last week but oh well - I still have a week to go and am starting to go through the "am I/aren't I" stage and its torture. I have been having horrible cramps, the "runs" about twice a day since Saturday and I wish I could lay down without my poor boobs hurting. Damn this crinone. My blood test is next Monday and I have decided to get them to leave a message on the answering machine at home so I am not finding out at work. Good luck to all. I hope there are a few BFP before xmas!

Just wondering girls - do many of you POAS? If so when do you do this? HOw many days after transfer?

    Hi Ladies

JDM: so sorry about AF arriving. At least you can jump straight into a new cycle, so some postive out of this wretched experience.

Dusty: How are you coping, going insane yet???

Welcome to our new ladies and ggo luck in you TWW.

AFM: Well did a POAS yesterday and BFN, don't know if/when AF is due as this cycle was pushed back due to my lining issues, but tomorrow is day 35 so I think it is due then. BB's only slightly sore (much less than last week) but have had no early spotting like last time before AF arrives. No confident this is the one for me either, but holding out for the BT on Thursday and if a definite BFN hoping that AF arrives ASAP, so I can fit another cycle before Xmas.

I'll keep you all updated if anything changes. to all our girls still in the waiting game.

Grub - hi there test date buddy. I had a Day 6 hatched blastocast transferred. It had been biopsied to check for chromosonal abnormalities due to my MC history. Sorry can't help you with the Crinone - I am on Pregnyl. Very impressed with your philosophical positive thinking!

Dusty - the warm food thing is a Chinese concept. Basically the idea is to steer clear of cold and raw foods. Not sure if I have managed the latter, as I have been dosing up on pineapple and strawberries. I have done some googling and the pineapple core, strawberries and walnuts (for Omega 3) are all I have managed to stumble upon. I agree - feed your cravings. Your body knows best! Not long until your BT - keep away wicked witch!

Gargy and Miss Magpie - Good luck today !

Kasam - my BT is also next Monday. I had my second Pregnyl shot on Saturday so figure it will be well and truly out of my system next Sunday morning. DH and I have agreed to POAS that first thing that day. I just don't want to be sitting by the phone alone Monday afternoon and have the news broken to me. Would rather find out with DH there for support. I do not know about the side FX of Crinone but hope some of what you are going through are early PG signs

    Megsmum
    - happy Monday. Have sent you a rather long-winded PM. Make sure you go pee beforehand

KellyD - I am hoping that PG test is not sensitive enough and that you just need a couple more days. At least you have a backup to get in a cycle before Christmas. Wishing you all the best for your BT on Thursday.

AFM - I unfortunately had a very stressful morning yesterday (Day 8) and fear it may have affected my chances of implantation. Done a bit of research and learned stress can lower progesterone levels (due to increased cortisol production to combat the stress) and also it can make your uterus have spasms. I did have lovely cramping all day 7 on Saturday (the day after transfer), which was expected, but have felt nothing since. Was just wondering if anyone could PLEASE tell me how long they cramped for after transfer??? I am really worried that I have already blown it

Hi WTH - I had minor cramping the day of transfer then nothing else until 3 - 4 days before my BT when it was huge cramping - v. painful. I thought it was AF coming even though I had never had any cramping before (put it down to the stim'd ovaries etc). The morning on the BT was the worst. My test was due on a Monday, but I asked to be tested on the Sunday instead (didn't want to be at work for the results). They agreed under the proviso that I was aware that the results could be borderline and I may need to test again on the Monday anyway.

So, long story short - BFP - totally unexpected.

    Hang in there sweets.

Where's the Hope - I have had cramping since about Midnight on the Monday night of my transfer - some days is good (like today its only mild) and other days it is pretty horrific (I spent half of Saturday alternating between the toilet and lying in a ball because it helped ). My "baby" was transferred on the Monday afternoon and my EPU was Friday morning - I am not sure what stage bubs would have been.

We were lucky and our clinic gave us a pic of the "baby" before it was transferred on disk.

I have read some of you girls have pregnal - what is that? Is it an alternative to crinone?

Welcome TLO and Kassam! I hope this is your last time in the TWW thread

    Gargy

hello everyone hope you are staying as sane as you can. Sorry no energy for personals this morning but I am following your progress everyday.

Well I have one sleep to go. The only hope I am now holding onto is AF hasn't shown but that is probably the crinone now which has happened in the past. I have done my grieving and am thinking of the next step which isn't so straight forward for us.
Now wishing we had booked that trip to Thailand for Xmas. Am sick of putting off making plans...

    Hi Everyone

Well, I feel that I am 100% out this time as well, BT not till Thrusday but did another POAS last night (that measures really low levels) and a definite BFN. Getting cramping this morning so I think AF will be here very soon.

I can only look on the positive side that if AF does arrive in the next couple of days, then I should be able to fit one more transfer before Xmas. If it stays away, I probably won't get to do another till Feb next year (we are going away over Xmas and due to the FS closing will probably miss a Jan cycle).

DH & I were talking last night and have decided that if we do another transfer and get a BFN we will push to get some further checks to find out if there is a reason why nothing is working. We don't want to use all our frosties up only to find out there was a reason why they wouldn't stick.

Anyway, good luck to all our remaining TWWers, hopefully some more BFP's before Xmas.

Dusty: I feel for you on your trying journey. Maybe you can get a late booking for your Thai holiday. It is so frustrating putting everything on hold on our TTC journey, that's why we decided to book our Xmas holiday and just go with the flow. If we didn't do it I think we would go insane or end up killing each other without having some time out.

Dusty - I hope the day flies by for you. I do not know much about Crinone but along with all the girls here hope that AF cow keeps away and are for the BFP you so yearn for and deserve. You will be in my thoughts tomorrow.

Gargy - I am sorry to hear about your BFN . Have you thought about your next step? Are you one of those very lucky ladies to have some frosties?

Alloy - yeah, the whole stress thing was only for about an hour. Won't bore you with the details but I was feeling cranky and could feel my blood boiling. So embarrassing - believe it or not I am actually a rather nice person. Maybe it was a hormonal build-up from the past two months of IVF IYKWIM!

TLO - I hope you get a lovely double surprise for Christmas

Grub - Crinone is progesterone - usually causes headaches, tiredness, sore boobs, dizzyness. It is HCG that causes nausea. What a promising sign for you!!

MegsMum - there was something weird going on with our computer yesterday which DH fixed last night Hope you are feeling better today. It took a miracle for each of us just to get an egg to transfer. Now we both get another one!

AFM - 10DPO. Feeling pretty symptom-less. Boobs not hurting at all. Bothered if this cycle does not work out that we will have to wait so long before starting the next cycle late January. Would be ready late December but need to find a SIVF Dr working then. Anyone here know of one working during the silly season? Would love to have a back-up plan to get me by if this does not work out this month.

to those who have received a BFN- so sorry...

Dusty- I so so hope for good news for you

afm- well, I don't think we are in for a natural miracle this time round...no AF yet, but have done HPT and negative..and I don't feel pregnant at all (and having been pregnant twice now, I have none of my previous symptoms). Ah well, it was worth a try

Nixon - Thanks for the post hun You are so right, now that the euphoria of just getting to the TWW (and we were touch and go for even getting here too I can tell you!!) has worn off and the reality that it might be a BFN is only a day or 2 away, I just feel like I can't be so optimistic now as I have to protect myself from the disappointment if it doesn't work. BTW, didn't have to get up to the loo last night so I just don't know, but on the other hand I don't have any pre AF signs yet either....wishing you all the very best for your pregnancy

buliej - Thanks hope you are travelling along OK...

kasam - Like Alloy said, Pregnyl is HCG and I have it as 3 injections - 1st one 2 days post EPU, 2nd one 5 days post EPU and last one 8 days post EPU. I haven't used Crinone (but it sounds gross enough that I'm not keen to try it LOL) only prog pessaries which I found pretty icky and annoying so I asked the FS if I could have Pregnyl instead which he was happy for me to do. HTH!

WTH - Glad you finally got that PM! Thanks for the vote of confidence about saying the right thing! Sometimes I worry a bit that I do, but you know me - a born worrier

Hayley - You are sooo right about that happy feeling at the start of the TWW, mine is just about all gone and just replaced with worry now But like you said its not over until AF arrives, so I will try to hold on to a little bit of hope. I'm so sorry to hear you only got the one to freeze, but remember it only takes one and you might be able to keep that one aside for a little sibling!

TLO - Welcome to the TWW! Good luck!

Alloy - Thanks for the kick Not feeling super positive today, but a bit better than yesterday.

Gargy - I'm so sorry to hear about your BFN

Dusty - GL for tomorrow! I hope you are wrong and that its a BFP! If you can't book your trip to Thailand though, maybe you could take a little holiday over Xmas somewhere else? That's what I would like to do this year too - just get away from everything with DH and DD.

KellyD - Sorry to hear you think AF is on the way. Will be hoping you are wrong...but sounds like a good idea to push for more testing. It's always better to know if there's a problem and deal with it rather than not.

Possums - Glad to hear you had a lovely time away Welcome back. Hoping you are wrong about not being pg.

AFM, 3 sleeps now till my BT, or maybe only 2 sleeps if AF shows up on time. Not really feeling pg, but on the other hand I don't have any pre AF signs either...yet. I can't quite bring myself to POAS either, I think I'd rather just hold on to a little bit of hope for a bit longer.
