    Hi guys,

Sorry I've been off-line. I decided to do something I've never done before and I have taken a week off work after a transfer! It's been so lovely - I flew up to Cairns to have an early Christmas with my family. I feel wonderful - been keeping with the prog pressaries and pregynl shots. See some signs but not reading too much into it. Last time, I overanalysed everything, got a positive hpt and ended up with a BFN blood test. So this time - is just lovely being a little bit oblivious.

I'm so excited for Megsmum and Dusty - Congratulations, I can only imagine how excited you both must be. What a wonderful Christmas present.

Kasam - I'm so sorry it didn't happen for you this month. At least you can have a glass of bubbly at Christmas - although I know that's little consulation!

Bec D and Wishingbaby - welcome to the 2ww. It's so lovely to be able to share it with each other. I haven't told anyone this cycle - it just gets too hard to talk about it with people who don't understand what is going on, so this forum is fantastic.

Kelly D - Good Luck for your blood test on Tuesday. I hope you have a late bloomer and an early christmas present. I'm in a similar situation to you too - I've made an appointment to see my FS to get some more tests done. No one has done any actual tests yet. I make good eggs, my DH has good sperm, I just can't get them to stick! One of my closest friends had some tests last year to find that her uterus was filled with fibroids so there was no chance of things sticking - well, it got me thinking. I need to understand whats really going on with me. So I completely understand why you want to do that as well before putting in anymore frosties! Hopefully, you won't have to worry!

WTH - Keep positive. It's so hard not to over-analyse when our bodies are giving us such conflicting evidence.

Miss Magpie - I'm sorry to hear you didn't get your result. Time helps to heal the disappointment and I wish you all the best for your next cycle.

JBM - Good Luck for your FET

Hayley - Good Luck tomorrow - I have my fingers crossed for you. It sounds like you have had a frustrating 2 weeks so I hope tomorrow makes it all worth while.

Gargy - It only takes one to stick, so good luck with your little embrio.

Joy08 - Congrats on your forstie - try to stay relaxed and look after yourself. Be selfish!!

FG - Hang in there. I'm wishing you lots and lots of positive energy

WLBubba - Here's hoping you don't get to drink at your Christmas party this year! My xmas party is also on the 12/12. I think it's a popular date.

Rach - Good Luck in your 2ww.

I'm due to fly back to Brisbane on Tuesday and back to work on Wednesday. I have a highly stressed job and I'm going to be selfish and not work ridiculous hours on Wed/Thurs/Fri and just continue to relax after my little holiday. My BT is on the 8/12 - is anyone else testing then?

    Tlo.

kasam - I'm so sorry to hear AF showed Stupid witch!! Take care of yourself hey?

TLO, wishingbaby and BecD - Welcome to the TWW and all the very best!

KellyD - Good luck for your BT tomorrow. I just wanted to say that I have been having cramps and a bit of back pain too (and I also had cramps when pg with my DD), so try not to read too much into them, they may be a good sign for you. Take care.

A big hi to everyone else that I have missed

hi all, thanks for the shout outs. sorry no personals. have just nicked home for lunch aka to hide for a cry.

It was a BFN for us this time

We had prepared ourselves and are not overly surprised but it still hurts. Deep disappointment but that has always been the case for us and babies. so have decided that santa could possibly be a hoax and even if you're a good girl, he won't always come through with the goods.

Am focussing on our xmas hols to tassie and have got to organise a few nights away with hubby and new year's. so will keep myself busy until we can do FET in the new year.

will be back on line later for personals. thanks again for your support everyone, it's been invaluable.

wth - i hope you got a better result than me. ox

    Hi girls,

Kasam - Im so sorry that AF showed up. Was there myself recently and its VERY disappointing and a huge let down. Wish it was easier. Take care of yourself.

Hayley - Sorry to hear it was a BFN. I think focusing on Xmas and trying to keep yourself occupied is the way to go. Its such a hard time. My thoughts are with you.

KellyD - Good luck with your blood test tomorrow. I hope your levels have gone up.

Megsmum - CONGRATULATIONS!!! Its so good to hear about another BFP! Hope its a happy and healthy pregnancy

AFM, have another blood test tomorrow to confirm my levels have gone down. Trying to focus on the positives but its hard.

Good luck to all the others here in TWW. My fingers are crossed for you all to get a wonderful Christmas present

    Take care,

    Tania

    My turn...... another BFN

Did POAS yesterday (at 15dpo) so DH and I were prepared for it. Unfortunately we only had one blast to transfer - no frosties. Already plotting our next cycle for early 2008.

Thanks so much to all the lovely ladies who have supported me in the 2ww. Spreading much on this very special thread and to be back here in January with a more fruitful cycle.

    Take care

Possums - thank you. The past year (or more) has been really difficult. But by doing the POAS yesterday at least I had DH by my side. It was better than hearing it over the phone by the clinic. I see my FS in the morning and am hoping to improve the protocol. We really are wondering when our luck will turn around. I will be starting my next cycle around new year's - a short orgalutron cycle. Plan to keep very busy over the next month and catch up on some sleep!

Kasam, Grub and WTH - so sorry that this month wasn't the Christmas present you were hoping for.

Megsmum mum - congratulations that is wonderful news!!

I was hoping to see some BFP on this page as I have just entered TWW myself. Blood test scheduled for 12/12. I had my blastie transfer yesterday and decided last night that what better day to do it than on the rare occurance that there is a smiley face in the sky!!! And I am sure that it was smiling directly at me so that must be a sign that it is my turn - here's hoping!!!
