Welcome to the 2WW Star Light and best of luck like so many of the others have said don't stress too much I'm sure everything will be fine.
As for all the other regulars glad to hear that you are all progressing along nicely.
AFM - spent a pretty sleepness night last night in anticipation of today. DH couldn't sleep either and ended up getting out of bed watching TV. last night me sister in law couldn't beleive that I hadn't gone out to buy a test I was so tempted but DH kept me sane once again. I went off to get my BT full of hope and excitement as still no sysmptoms...so they wait is now on and I promise to at least post the result maybe with not much detail as soon as I can. The nurse upset me a bit so now I'm scared she said these BT's can show one of 3 things if its over 100 then it's positive under 2 then negative inbetween these numbers means something is happening but another test will be needed....and here I was thinking I was on the home straight
Just a quick one from me this morning as I am covering reception and can't quite as easily post.... Only a few personals today so a big hello to everyone I haven't mentioned !
terry - WISHING YOU THE BEST OF LUCK TODAY... . I have everything crossed for you that you will get your long awaited BFP!!!
star~bright - You totally made sense and I'm glad to hear you are feeling better about the situation.... 'ing that the 2WW treats you well and time goes quickly for you!
airline - Thanks for the words of wisdom airline . I needed to hear them and you are so right! Trying to take a step back from it all now... Had a big chat with DH last night as I was a bit of a mess and we have both agreed to look at it as though we have a BFN... If we are extremely lucky and it happens to go the other way then we figure it will be a nice surprise! Doing it this way so I don?t keep going from one extreme to the other, he, he! I so want to see Couples Retreat.... looks really funny!
Glad to hear that you have no symptoms going on as I really do think that it's a good sign!
Terry - not sure if you'll pop back on before results are in, but don't be too disheartened by what nurse said. I know she's the professional and i'm not but....my second cycle, the nurse said they like the first BT to be between 80 and 100 and start doubling 'rougly' every 48 hours. Now somewhere on here there are lovely girls like you and me who've had hCG no.s that are considered 'low'...ie not the norm. ... ie. maybe even 46 or something .... and gone on to have a healthy bubba. One lovely lady pmd me by telling me her story of success in similar circumstances. It does mean more BTs to confirm a day or so later...I had that last cycle and yes it does suck, but......plse, keep chin up as best possible. hugs.
Coral - I did waffle somewhat last night...but I knew what I was trying to communicate! :-)
What you and DH are doing is pretty much what we did last time and it's a good self preservation method. Fingers crossed still.
LM - enjoy Sydney!!
AFM - still nothing really. Had a twinge on one side when I got up after typing on BB last night, but nothing else. Got a busy weekend planned, socialising, babysitting friends kids (8 and 9 so no issue:-) ) more socialising and relaxing.
Good afternoon to all you lovely ladies! It's been a while since I popped in (3 weeks today actually!). I'm still fairly new to all this and didn't realise that you could 'lurk' a little bit even when out of the tww.
I do hope you are all doing well.
I've managed to get through the first week of my tww without too much obsessing, stressing or down feelings. So yay me! Hope it's been like that for most of you. I have to say, I've usually had a cry by now about why it's not working for us. But so far, not too bad. Even when I visited my brother, his wife and their 6 week old daughter.
I'm all out of whack this month as AF was early last month. So I don't really even know when AF is due this month. Top that off with practically non existant CM when it was supposed to happen... Well, I'm really not getting my hopes up. Grrr....
Who the hell am I kidding!?? Of course I'm getting my hopes up! At this late stage, I'll settle for anything! *chuckle*
Well, I just popped it to say hi and I hope you're all doing great. Oh, and I see there was a little talk of movies earlier. DH and I went to see 'All About Steve' with Sandra Bullock just on a whim on Wednesday night. It was great! A light hearted film, easy to watch, nothing to think about. And funny. Give it a go if you need a laugh.
Sorry I didn't post sooner and thanks to all of you for your good wishes but its turned out to be a
Have spent most of my day licking my wounds and with my darling boy. So I'm out for now but will be trying again in a few weeks.
Hope it goes well for evryone else and I hope I don't see you in here when I return because you have all gone on to bigger and better things. I will keep an eye out for good news.
Terry - so sorry to hear about your BFN hun. I hope you are felling better soon and I really hope it won't be too much longer till all your dreams come true. xo

Airline- Thanks. It's good to be prepared when it comes to fertility issues. Enjoy the weekend.
London Miss- Enjoy Sydney. I believe we are in for good weather in syd this weekend.
Terry- I'm so sorry for your result. Thinking of you and your boy.
Moonflower- Great job! Halfway there!! That movie sounds good too. I think movies are a great distraction in the 2WW. When is your BT?
AFM- No symptoms! Nothing to even guess about! Not feeling hopeful at all. 7 nights til AF is due.
Girls have a lovely weekend, sorry no persies today, feeling a little down myself.
Yesterday I became so excited at the fact that I had the worlds most hot itchy sore boobs, but today the AF cramping is really setting in and my boobs aren't as sore today. Sounds silly but I've never had the sore boobs before, thaught it was a good sign.
Was down the street thismorn and had to rush home cuz the cramps became so strong and i felt a gush 'down stairs' thaught flow had started. Was just watery white but I'm realistic as to what is comming.
Sorry for the depressing post girls, am having one of those days too X
ok girls...during the 2ww we are 'pregnant' though I don't like using the term out loud...it doesn't feel right, however.... we all try and treat ourselves as though we are, and be careful etc etc.
My question is what do you eat on a day to day basis? Brekky and dinner isn't too much of a problem, it's really just lunch. I know it's a matter of how strict you want to be...but for example I thought I'd have some eggs - yum, protein etc...but after eating them I thought I should've hardboiled them (I had them soft with toast soldiers ), I'm guessing to hardboil would mean less chance of salmonella.
I go to have a sandwich and think I can't have ham from supermarket. What do you have out? At the mall I'd normally have sushi...that's a no. Subway? DH told me rice and lettuce are often to blame for food poisoning.
I need some ideas, it's getting frustrating! thanks
Airline - Definitely no ham or most products from the deli unless you are going to cook them... I must admit that lunch is a difficult one as I was at the shops and couldn't work out what was 'safe' to eat. I am pretty sure that pasta would be ok as long as there was no chicken or ham in it... Let me know if you come up with anything good!
murraycod - Don't ever apologise about posting how you are feeling! The 2WW is so nasty and can really do your head in... I can relate as have been pretty bad this 2WW! One minute I am all happy secretly thinking that this might be it and the next the cramping starts and I am the complete opposite... big hugs to you and I hope you are feeling a little better this evening .
star~bright - I will 2nd that ! Hope you are also feeling better this evening .
A big Hello to all those that I haven't mentioned and sending lots and lots of to all!
Hi girls,
I'm also away at the moment so just sending a quick post from my phone.
It is so nice to read about how you are all feeling and know I'm not going crazy by myself. It is hard finding out family and friends are pregant at the best of times, but it is much worse in the 2ww. I was very emotional last night because of this.
I'm trying hard not to read into signs (yes! Boob squeezing) and be as calm as possible. It's not working very well.
Anyway, thinking of you all and will be back home for persies tonight.
Sorry for no personals today but I have to get this of my chest.... I have a confession to make.....
I went to the shops yesterday afternoon whilst DH was at work and bought a 2 test HPT. I was going crazy torturing myself and just wanted to confirm that it was a 'negative' so I could just move on from my misery. I POAS'd and I got the most faintest of faint lines ever... after reading the instructions, I noted that they mentioned that 'occasionally' a very faint shadow line can appear which needs to be read as a negative. Naturally, I cried and cried and I showed DH when he got home. He suggested testing again and so I used the other test and the same 'faint shadow line' appeared. I still took this a 'negative,' however, DH suggested we go and buy a different brand. So we headed back down the shops and bought a different brand that had 2 tests in it... Was very nervous and after what seemed like an eternity (was only 1min) 2 lines showed up.... I did this test at about 4:00pm and then did another one at 6:30pm which came up with 2 lines again... Went and bought a different brand again that has 3 HPT's in it to POAS for the next morning. So I woke up today and POAS'd this morning with FMU and again two pink lines... My only fear is that I think (although I don't want to admit it) the positive line kinda looked a little lighter.. shouldn't FMU be darker?
Here in lies the problem.... what if it is the Hcg trigger shot that is reading cause I had a stim? I took the trigger shot (2 x Ovridel) on Saturday, 17 October. It has now been 14 full days since I had the ovridel shot... today being day '15.' I am not due for my BT until Tuesday, 3 November, which does appear early compared to some of you ladies on here. Does anyone know how long 'ovridel/ the Hcg' shot takes to get out of your system? Now I have gone from worrying that it is a 'definite negative' to a false positive pregnancy test reading!
