AFM - had 2 embies transferred yesterday and am already googling the effects of chocolate on unborn babies (yeah I know it's a little early, but... )

Hope everyone is doing well. Sending to all.

Hey girls. Am still going. 13 dpo. Cant believe it really and I definitely feel something different from the last 3 transfers. I know I said I would wait until Saturday but I think tomorrow morning will be my limit and thats 14dpo anyway which should be ok.
Jen72 - sorry to hear about AF arriving. I hope you're ok.
Entreat - good luck with BT tomorrow.
    Lise - welcome and goodluck!

Good luck to all those testing over the next few days. Monday seems forever away for me!

    Hello ladies!

Jen72, I'm sorry to hear about AF. I hope the diarrohea clears up soon and that you get back to normal. Good luck. I hope you get to recharge on your break.

LondonMiss, I hear what you're saying. I hope my downer yesterday didn't make you second guess yourself. I would like to send you positive baby vibes. And a cheer for good measure. C'mon. It's you and me on Sunday. We can do it! AF is NOT welcome this month!

Lise, my s-i-l ate chocolate during her pregnancy and now her son (4yrs) just LOVES chocolate. See? It's a good thing!!

Good luck to all those testing tomorrow and getting results! And for all the rest, happy, stressfree, baby vibes to you.

Jay/ Entreat - good luck for your tests today. Let us know as soon as you have your results.

Moonflower - thanks. I did another test this morning, and it was BFN. I'm really missing our dog (she's gone to the vets for a couple of days) and the two things together rather sabotauged (sp?) our evening together. I had a good blubb and got it out my system.

Physically I feel very mixed. I had a massage yesterday and the lady who does it told me off for leaving it so long. Told me I was stressed - ha! Any of you could have guessed that!! My bbs hurt and I'm tired, and my stomach is still cramping on and off. I don't feel pregnant though. But only two days to go for us! Thank God. Just two more days... I'm sure this classes as mental torture.

Hoping for some good news today!

I feel wretched. Just had my blood test this morning but it will only confirm what I know all ready. I took a hpt at 4am this morning and it was negative, not even a pale line. I can't stop crying. This is only our first time doing ivf and all ready I'm a wreck. I greatly admire the couples strong enough to be able to go through this time and time again. How do people cope with all the grief?

Wishing you all sticky vibes and baby dust.

Oh Sonia - I'm so sorry for you. Is it the right day? If it's too early, don't lose hope. TMI - was it long enough in your bladder? If the HCG collects overnight, if say you'd had a wee at middnight it might not be long enough to show. I'm not trying to give you false hope but just in case. Thinking about you either way.

If it's any consolation, I suspect (and solely from my two reactions) that the first disappointment is the worst. I've only done two IUI's though, moving to IVF next month so feel free to disregard my comments... Big hugs x

I have to echo LM - the first felt like the worst to me. But I was actually pg for a couple of weeks. The second transfer didn't stick in the slightest - but I was still shattered.

With this transfer, I haven't been confident past the first week. I'm scared the clinic will call & say that my HPT was just 'left over' pregnyl & that in a few days the dream will be over again. Nothing's taking away that fear at the moment. I just have to swallow it.

Might take a leaf out of LM's book & have a massage.

    Good luck ladies!

Not sure if I'm allowed to post this - but this might be of interest - it's not just about faint lines.

What's that awful noise? Oh! It's the Fat Lady.

That's me done. AF arrived in full force earlier on, a full two days early. The silver lining? I can stop putting myself through the mental torture that is the ttw and can move onto having a good sob when I get home from work. So hard not to cry at work though.

Ladies, all my very best of luck to all of you. See you next month....

Sorry to hear that moonflower. The only good thing about a BFN is that you can have a BFD - Big Fat Drink after you've had your blubb (and got home from work) see you in two weeks x

    hey girls.

    entreat - fingers crossed.
impish73 - wishing you all the best. first IVF is very hard because you have such high hopes. coping with the grief, well it's hard, but i think, i allow myself about a week to wallow in it, then i dust myself off and tell myself to get back to it and focus on the end result. Just give yourself some time.
moonflower - sorry to hear about AF arriving.

    big hugs to you all.

AFM - i POAS this morning. My hands were shaking i was so nervous, and i thought i was going to get stage fright. Anyway, after what seemed like forever, there they were, two lovely beautiful lines. A BFP. I cant believe it, and am holding in excitement until BT on monday, but i know how i feel, and AF for sure would normally be here by now. Will keep you updated!

Very best wishes to you all through your TWW.

omg... I'm crying. I'm so happy. I spent half the 2WW is a bad feeling that it wasn't going to work again.

Thank you ladies for your support through the 2WW. Finger crossed for all of you still in it.

And for that ladies that missed this month - you can do any of the following & really enjoy it: Wine, coffee, wine, horse riding, brie, wine, salami, rare steaks, pre-made salads, and of course - more wine.

I will celebrate now by calling my mum.

    J/E - that's fantastic - congratulations both!!

LondonMiss - you're not alone! I'm still in, though I keep forgetting i'm "allowed" to post in this thread now!

JayeJaye and Entreat - what fabulous results, you must be so excited!!! I do love to see a BFP, and to see two in one day, well, that's even better! Wishing you both all the very best for a H & H 9 months.

Moonflower - so sorry to hear your news I hope you were able to have a good cry when you made it home and are feeling a little better today.

sonia - i'm only on my second cycle, so don't have a great deal of experience at all things IVF. I know when my first cycle was cancelled 2 hours before ET I was absoultely gutted. And completely surprised and overwhelmed by my emotions. After TTC for so long I thought i'd be okay, but it just goes to show that you never know how you'll react. I don't know if it gets any easier, but hopefully knowing you've got somewhere to vent and let loose helps somewhat.

AFM - nothing new to report. Every now and then I think I feel a twinge, but really I don't seem to have any symptoms yet that I can put down to either the Crinone (which is a good thing!) or being PG. So i'm trying to forget about it as much as possible whilst taking advantage of DH insisting that I take it easy. As I type away he's cleaning the bathroom, bless him.

Hope you're enjoying the sunshine wherever you are

    Hi Lise,

did you have a FET this time? Or a fresh? On my FETs it didn't even really occur to me that they might not thaw so well... both times I got the phone call to saw the thawing went well I was shocked! Of course it would go well, I thought like a complete fool.

    Fingers crossed for you.
