Well I got my progesterone results back and they are brilliant, last month it was 10, this month it was 92!!!!! So I ovulated..YIPEE The nurse told me the low end of the scale of ovulation is 30, so I'm feeling really hopeful......
1 week to go until testing...see what happens, at least I've jumped one hurdle, which is all anyone can ask at this stage....

Hope everyone else is doing well...

Smile progesterone and my false confidence

    hello all,

I havent posted in here before, I didnt even notice this until a couple of days ago.
I have been in what I thought was a brilliant TTW with symptoms galore and I thought I must have O'd really well looking at my chart and other indicators. I've had acupuncture, herbs and yoga, thought this might just be a great month for us, I am a couple of days from testing.
However, I had my Progesterone test on friday and the results came back bad. Apparently only 12, I either didn't O or O'd "badly". I am so devastated!!! I wonder now if this has been a problem all along, though I've had two internal U/S showing I did O those cycles. I am so confused, my charts are perfect, I think?
I've had such a yuk day now and cried my eyes out, luckily DH & I had tha day off today so he has looked after me. I just wonder why no one offered this test to me 6 months ago?
There is a chance my levels were low due to me O-ing later than FF says but i am not sure how low 12 is, is it really bad or could it jump up within a couple of days if it was done too early?
TTc has really taken it's toll on me, I'm prone to worrying and have been quite scared I wont get pregnant after waiting til my late 30's to start (not my fault).

Anyway, thats kind of my intro for anyone interested, sorry to go on. Maybe someone will know what I'm on about. You think you know your body and whamo, you just don't.

Looks like I'll be going in for a LAP next month sometime and hope there'll be some answers then, youchhh!
Thanks for listening,, gotta rush. check in later, sassba32

The HPT demon got the better of me. I'm only on day 13 since fertilisation but I bought one of those "test up to 5 days before your missed period" HPT and the result was
I know it's really early days and the blood test on Saturday will confirm, but it's nice to finally have a positive result out of the ghastly HPT. Fingers crossed nothing changes this week. I'm only on progesterone suppositories which apparently don't affect the result, so fingers crossed. Has anyone else given in and tested before their blood test?

Congratulations Caroline, that's great news. It's looking like being a great month.
I got a faint second line on a HPT this morning, it's our first cycle of IVF and we've been TTc since Nov 2005. My blood test is on Friday so like you Caroline I'm just waiting for that. I'm going to do another test in the morning hopefully the line will be a little darker. It's hard not to get excited!!!!
Good luck to everyone else in the TWW.

Excellent news Janie - if you got a second line, doesn't matter how faint, you are pregnant!!!!! Take ownership of it. Good luck for your blood test tomorrow. C

    hi ladies

Caroline, and Janie - woo hoo!!! great news - all sounding very good for both of you!

well, looks like i'm back in here for an unofficial TWW - after my last BFN, my body has tried to behave "normally" and the FS has stated i'm probably in the TWW from a natural cycle - currently on CD19 - BT scheduled for sometime around CD 28 - but nothing firm - depends on whether AF shows up or not! have had a few symptoms - a small midcycle bleed last weekend, sore bbs, feeling a little queasy - i don't know that it means anything more than my body trying to work itself out, but hey, i'm up for the challenge, so hope you all don't mind mepopping back in here again!
