Hi BG - how did your transfer go today? I hope it didnt hurt like mine did! Good luck to you - how long have they given you to wait? My BT is scheduled for 6th August... hopefully this time I make it to the BT!

Gosh - talk about hanging on tender hooks Kazz... hopefully it is good news for you!
Im definately with Sonya1 about AF!!

Well, I had my first Luteal injection last night, next one is on Friday night. I hate them, they hurt so much - just like the injection that makes you ovulate! To me they feel like really bad bull ant bites, then I have to deal with the bruising!! Boo!

Counting down ... 12 days to go!

Kazz - sometimes people don't show up pg on a hpt until several days, sometimes weeks, after conception so you're definitely in there with a chance! when are you due for a BT?

well, i'm in here for real again now lovely ladies - i had my IUI this morning and - thankfully - this time it didn't hurt! last time it was rather uncomfortable, but today was fine. i'm not due for a BT until the 16th of next month (3 weeks 1day) - which seems like forever away, but my clinic play by the idea that they'd prefer to have the BT's well after AF would be due, plus i have a follow up appointment with the FS that day (which i'd have to have either way) - so i guess i get to hang my hat in the TWW threas for the next three weeks! LOL

Glad to have you in here BG... I hope that the next 3 weeks go VERY quickly for you!
Also glad to hear it didnt hurt! Sounds like this cycle is a good one so far!
Our f/up appt with the FS is the day after my scheduled BT... hopefully, I will be able to cancel it (the f/up appt I mean)!

the clinic nurse said that, either way, i'd have to paythe FS a visit on the 16th - i guess if it's good news, we start arranging things like u/s and stuff at that appointment

good luck with the booster - i'm not real keen on them, but if they get me to the ultimate goal, i'll just see them as a minor inconvenience!

Hi all - this is my very first ever post in the TWW thread. My transfer was today and it all went well. The nurse was very gentle - only a tiny drop of blood and just a little uncomfortable a bit like a pap smear really. Anyway, b/t is due on the 13th, so I am hoping and praying that our little girl (or boy, that would good too) is on the way to us.

Hey BG - just read your journal and posted in there but will say it again, sorry you aren't feeling well. Hopefully it is just the progesterone causing the cramps.

Can I ask when do you take your pregnyl shot? I have my first one on Tuesday - should I take it morning or night. I found taking the Gonal-F at night seemed to reduce the emotional rollercoaster I was experiencing during the day when I took it in the morning. Any advice you can offer?

I am sure things will get busy in here pretty quickly, there always seems to be something going on as there is so many of us in the LTTTC AC thread at the moment. In the meantime, I am happy to have someone around who is as supportive and knowledgeable and reliable as my BG! Thanks for all of your help, advice and support. Hopefully I can offer the same to you and others sometime soon.

    Take care and rest up!

    hiya Chez!

i have taken my pregnyl shot in the past half hour for exactly the reason you mentioned - i hate the hormonal shifts affecting me at work - i also have the thing that i have my second booster on Thursday - and i won't do injections at work unless my FS tells me a particular time to do them. i don't see the point. it's hard enough keeping this stuff relatively private at work without having to try and sneak an injection in there too!

i'm feeling a lot better than i was earlier. have had a super restful day and it's paying off perfectly. will be having an early night tonight too - i find i'm very tired at the moment but i'm not sure if that's related to the cycle or the fact that we've made the most of my time off last week with getting painting done

Karena - how are you travelling hun?

    take care lovely ladies

blackduckies congrats on your IUI hun - it's going to be a long wait, but we'll keep you company! try to keep yourself occupied and ignore the BT date - i ALWAYS keep the little things in my diary so the days pass quickly cos i only have little milestones to reach - this 2ww (well, 3ww if i actually wait til BT to test) is broken down as:

    25/07- IUI
28/07 - drinks for DH burfday
    30/07 - Happy Burfday DH!
    01/08 - RDO
    04/08 - friends 50th
    07/08 - nieces burfday
    08/06 - 2WW is up - i can test anytime after this!!!

never more than 3 days between significant events!

Collo - sounding reasonably good there hun - will keep my fingers crossed for you

    Hi lovely ladies

Hope everything is going well for you all. Blackduckies, hi - I am in my first official 2WW as well... testing on the 13th. Hopefully we will all keep each other company through til our testing days and we all get a

Had my first night of crinone last night - no too much drama so far, but am finding that I am getting very tired quite early on in the day which results in me ending up all cranky in the afternoon. And the cramps from the progesterone are pretty cr@ppy as well!

I am back to work tomorrow - 6am start (yuk!) so I think I will be heading off to bed for a quiet read and then an early night.

Take care all and talk to you tomorrow - 1 day closer to test day!
    Cherylxxx

PS To add to my lack of relaxation by going back to work - my job interview is now in Canberra so am flying up and back there on Thursday! I hope I get the job - I had to buy a new suit today as I have lost so much weight that nothing fits me anymore! Hopefully it is the beginning of something good

    Hi everyone

How is this tww business treating all of you. Well Im at day 26 1 or two days till AF should arrive and Im suprisd for once that I have no symptoms. No spotting, booobies sore just a bit and peeing quite alot. Im not going to test until friday. I was wondering if because I had a natrual transfer with no drugs last month and I got my period as normal would this mess up my next cycle and make them later??? Im cautiously excited but realistic that im prob not preg but a girl can dream cant she............

    Hi Girls...
Sorry you are out of the race this month Kazz - good luck and fingers crossed for next month!! Hope to see you in here again soon...
Welcome to the 2ww Chez, Collo and Blackduckies - I hope that the time goes quick for you and that you all get positive results at the end of the wait!!
Time is really dragging for me atm, thankfully work is busy so its keeping me occupied. Only problem is, I have a terrible head cold atm and feel like crap! I went home early yesterday and slept for a couple of hours - which unfortunately meant that I was tossing and turning trying to get to sleep last night!

How are you holding up BG - sounds like you have a very busy social calender!! I wish I was as busy as you! My BT is on Monday - 5 days to go... I have decided that I wont be doing any HPT's this month - all it does is disappoint me! DH asked me to throw the one that I have away, but I told him I want to keep it for when I get my positive BT result so that I can use it to make sure that the damn things actually work! haha

I have a question, which might belong in another post - but I wanted to ask the girls here in the 2ww. A friend of mine who knows that DH and I are having IUI treatment (and have had 2 failed cycles) sent me a text msg last night... this is what it said:
"A good old friend of mine just called me with news that she is pregnant. They have been trying for 7 years and were told they wont be able to get pregnant because both of them had problems. They kept trying on ivf as they didnt want to give up and it has happened. She is 38. So, you have lots of time and there is hope. Just thought I would tell you as its great news which is what you need to hear to stay positive."
I wonder what your thoughts are?
