i really changed things too much ali - admittedly i've not had as much caffeine, but more because i'm not wanting it than as a conscious effort to change things. i guess the things you'd normally avoid during pregnancy are the things to avoid - check out the first trimester threads - theres a few in there asking about food to avoid - thankfully i must have a pretty bland diet cos i've read a lot of the threads thinking to myself "don't eat it anyway"! i've made a conscious effort to drink more water thank normal - i usually have 2-3L of water per day - at the moment, i'm aiming for 3-4 simply cos i've just come off a stim cycle and last time i ended up with mild OHSS and was advised to drink more...

as for the 3ww - yeah, theoretically it's torture, but when i've thought about it, i'd hate to be excited having a BT on day 14 only to end up with AF on day 15, so not having BT til 16th gives a bit of time for me to know one way or the other whether it has worked.... plus, they still make HPT's for poor saps like me !

    Hi girls,

I hope you are all well. I have started getting cramping this morning and am thinking this is not a good sign, as this is what happened last ET around the same time and AF arrived the day before my blood test. This is my second ET and my blood test is on Mon, 13th.

Does anyone else start crying at the slightest thing? I went to work this morning but ended up coming home because I was too emotional (and also worrying about the cramps). How do others cope at work? I haven't done so before but am thinking of speaking with one of the IVF counsellors - has anyone tried and do you think it helped?

Here's hoping it's BFPs for us all.

HI BG, Pam, Desperately, Chez, Dusty, Kazza & Mary ( if I missed anyone - hi)...sorry for no personals but quickly posting before I go to work.

I have been feeling very out of the ordinary lately - soo tired yet when I am asleep I wake up at the strangest hours for no reason. Not to mention the last couple of mornings where I have had to get up at the crack of dawn to go to the loo - even if I didn't have much to drink before bed! Whats with that!
Work has not been pleasant as there have been a few retrenchments (particularly my mananger who I am close with) so things aren't the same - but I'm trying to remain calm & not let it get to me.

No sore boobs to report but have been feeling queazy on & off, had sharp pains last night but they seem to have gone today. Still early days...fingers crossed for all of us. I want good results next week girls!

Have a good day & I'll try to catch up when I get home from work.

    Hi ladies,
hope you are all keeping well :hugs:

I posted this in the main section but not many ladies know so hoping that you might know as its driving me nuts

On my last IVF/ICSI cycle I got AF 4 days before BETA with no symptoms ..... on this cycle AF has not yet arrived (today is day 18) - I have to call the clinic for a BETA as they generally don't test before day 17.

I have had cramps since Sunday (the cramps are 2x worse than normal and they come and go)

If Crinone does delay AF, how soon after I stop it (last one last night) will AF arrive ??

I don't want to ring the clinic for a BETA yet as I don't want to do this unnecessarily (ie to be told its BFN)....I am also to scared to do HPT's as I have done so many in the past and the disappointment is just too overwhelming
