    Lucrin not working

Hi, i was just wondering if anyone else has has trouble with the Synarel and the lucrin not working? I have had a few attempts so far but the medications dont seem to be lowering my levels. If anyone else had a problem with the lucrin how did they overcome this issue?
We are hoping that on thurs that my levels have dropped due to the increase of lucrin from 10 units to 20 units but, not very positive about it.
Hopefully this time it will work.
    Thanks for reading

Similar situation. I tried synarel, and actually managed to ovulate while on it, so it obviously wasn't working! Ironically, my body failed to ovulate while on clomid - go figure!

They were going to ask me to use two sniffs of synarel twice daily, but after two weeks of the congestion, chronic sinus headaches and the generally unpleasant, icky taste of the synarel, I asked if we could try lucrin instead. I was pretty sure my lack of response was because of the irritation to my nasal lining and the congestion that resulted. I'm also a chronic hayfever sufferer.

The good news for you is that they put me on 20IU of lucrin daily, and that did the trick. Hopefully it will work for you also.

    Hi Kaddie
I hope the increase in dose does the trick.
I didn't respond too well to lucrin either (resulting in failed collection the first time round), but in the next cycle they switched me to cetrotide which worked fine. That doesn't help you for this cycle, sorry, but something to discuss with your clinic if you're still having trouble (only problem is it's not covered by medicare...)
    Good luck
