Hi ladies,
I too started off on nasal spray but stopped after day 2 as hayfever caused me to sneeze as soon as I sniffed.
I have been told that syneral is not always the best way to go because you do not always get the exact does. Some of it comes out your nose or mouth and makes it difficult to ensure you are getting it all in properly. I was not given the option of syneral of lucrin (self-injection only once a day) because our clinic was low on lucrin. I think they ought to warn hayfever sufferers that they will react to syneral as it could affect your cycle. Plus, even if you only have one or two puffs on the syneral, then change over to the lucrin (which is what I did) they might still try and charge you for the open syneral as it cannot be reused (which is what happened to me!).
The reason why they start most women on syneral is because most clinics have a low supply of lucrin. However, if you have had hayfever problems in the past, make sure you ask them to have lucrin readily available to you before you need it so there is less stress on you and less fussing about.
Lucrin is not for everyone though. I hate even looking at needles! But you tend to get used to it after a few jabs!
