We produce at home and have 2 hours to get it to the clinic.
Hi, I was just wondering what happens in IUI when you need fresh swimmers? So DH will obviously come with me, but does he 'produce' them in the next room? Or can 'we' produce them at home?
TIA
We produce at home and have 2 hours to get it to the clinic.
DH was producing sample last thing before we left home to go to clinic - and we had about a 70min trip. apparently it has to be a certain amount of time to liquify (i think it's 40 mins) before it can be centrifuged anyway...
check with your clinic
Excellent, DH has a bit of stage fright
Thanks ladies
I'm always surprised about how little is in the bottom of the jar, LOL.
Just so you know, my clinic has an hour cut off. My DP does it there. They have a lovely selection of magazines and DVDs to helpincluding ( and I am not kidding) a couple of fishing and golfing mags

Fishing is that good, hey?![]()
My clinic has a 40 minute limit - huge differences between them. DH said the magazines were pretty disappointing (not sure what he was expecting - should I be scared?!?!), but he was pretty pleased with the golfing mags too. Not sure if its something your clinic offers, but ours offers a special condom that doesn't have spermicide that can be used in extreme cases of stage fright.
, now I've heard it all! Golf? Fishing? WTF? That is creepy
, reminds me of that creepy shoe fetish man from Sex in the City!
LuluHB, Dh has severe stage frightHe says he can't do it on his own and reckons he never does it on his own anyway. I offered to take some sexy pics with his mobile phone to help him out, but he still isn't sure it will work! Sex is the only thing that will definitely work, so I'm hoping we can get the swimmers at home because it's 40 minutes away.
