Wow Claire, That's a bit of a pain that you have to go to Wollongong to get your bloods done. What pathology company is that through? The SydneyIVF Wollongong clinic gets all bloods done through Southern Pathology and I am able to use the Nowra Collection room in Junction street. If I have them done before 9am results are back the same day at about 4pm. I also used to work at Mayne Laverty Pathology (now called Symbion) and we used to get SIVF bloods in there all the time, I think from the Liverpool clinic, and we could get the results back the same afternoon too. Maybe your SIVF clinic isn't aware that results can be back the same day from Nowra and therefore send you to Wollongong?

I am not sure which company I will be having my ultrasounds with yet but it will be one of the Nowra ones as well. So I really only need to go to Wollongong to pick up my meds and then for Egg pickup and then Transfer which are both done at Wollongong Day Surgery.

I am on my fourth day on the Lucrin and only 1 bruise so far so I am doing well. By the time I get to the Puregon I will be an expert at giving injections!

You must be gettnig excited now, you will be starting your Provera on Friday! Good luck with everything and I look forward to hearing about your progress.

I suppose my story is a little different. I am using donor sperm and have been doing AI for about 7months with no success. Due to my allocation of sperm running out (using a unknown donor) IVF was the next step. When i was having the AI i had to go to wollongong as my results would come in the arvo and it wouldnt give me enough time to get to sydney for the insem. I can get 2 of my bloods done down here but because i have been using the wollongong system i prefer to leave it that way as i know everyone there and i havent had problems thus far.

Yeah provera on Fri, its all exciting. I have so much going on at the moment....all in a good way though. I am kind of nervous because i was doing the AI for soo long that i am worried that the IFV wont work.....i dont know i suppose it just the nerves.

Im glad that this are going well with you and you injections. I was talking to my Partner the other day about you and that you are from Nowra. She said that its probably good for the both of us to have someone close by that is going through the same things. She also thinks it great just incase we encounter any problems also to share the up and downs with someone else apart from her. She is great support but its hard as she doenst know what its like. Anyways keep jabbing with no brusies...
