Too stunned at the moment to know what I can do. I didn't even consider that this may happen. Will have to come up with Plan D for becoming a mum when my brain clears.
    Thanks for your thoughts guys.

Ah b*gger it. Forget the bus stop challenge. I should just hop in my little plane and fly Australia and visit you all! Don't expect the red outfit though. Think I'll call it a night. Night.

    Hi Sue,
Sorry to hear about the sperm donor situation, that really sucks. I had a quick search of the internet just before to see if there's other options, not sure if you're interested or not, but I found a news item that was shown on the ABC. If you email me, I can send you the page link - also had a website (which is legal), where you can order from registered sperm donors in other countries, all legit. Some other countries, like Denmark aren't as rigid as Australia with their reproductive laws.
    Cheers,
    Deirdre

I have a question about egg donation. This is something I would love to look at over the next few years; of course only if my DH is supportative which I believe he would be....

Does anyone know how much it would cost to become an egg donor? Obviously, I would hate to be limited by finances and prevented from giving a very deserving couple the chance to become parents.

    Hi Becka
You are a gem. It takes a very special kind of person to donate. I know I had never ever considered it until the tables were turned!!!
    I have PM'd you.
    Sue
