ok just another quick question

just before you inject do you prime the pen each time?? its just that on the dvd that we were given to watch it says to wind it to one click and then press to make sure some fluid comes out of the needle.

was just wondering do you prime it EVERYTIME or just when you put a new cartridge in???

Hi,

My DH always prime it up every time he gives me the shot.. you will find that there is always spare meds in the tube, more than the amount stated on the box.

Same as Kahlan - every time. It's how you make sure the needle itself is full of puregon so you're not injecting air. I'm told air isn't harmful in subcutaneous injections, but it can be a bit painful.
