    Trigger question

The nurse at my fertility clinic said the trigger would make me ovulate 24 hours later. Most other clinics / people say 36-42. I wonder why she said 24? Does the fact that I had a positive OPK 30 hours before the trigger make ovulation happen soon than the often quoted 36 hour mark? Thanks...

With IVf you take drugs to suppress the natural LH surge prior to the trigger... so maybe it's different if they're not doing that.

From what I understand from my previous research is that if you are already having the LH surge then this will override a trigger injection such as ovidrel. The trigger injection is used to make you ovulate, but if you are already going to ovulate it won't stop you. I did the OI thing for awhile.

Anyhow, you might want to double check with your FS.
