just been catching up on what's been happening the past 24 hours so thought i'd drop a quick note.
chelle - good luck for tomorrow. i've personally not had to go through a D&C, so can't honestly say that i know what you're going through. I just hope you're feeling a little better and up to spending some time with your friends at their wedding. take care of yourself and make sure you give yourself time to heal both physically and emotionally before you push yourself to do things again - if you're ready to be around friends, go for it - and i hope you have a great time if you do!
Deb - i've been taking clomid days 5-9 and was being checked for progesterone levels day 21 - so i guess all doctors check for different things (wouldn't it be easier if they all did the same! would be much easier to complare treatment wouldn't it?)
pollyanna - i guess your situation has a negative and positive side to it - knowing that you have PCOS means that your doc will no longer be guessing at treatment - just a shame it's not a diagnosis that gives you a definite treatment plan!! and your body isn't the only abnormal one that doesn't respond to clomid - i've had cycles at 50, 100 and 150mg - and none of them have caused me to ovulate - i'm now on day forty something of the latest cycled (150) - and no ovulationat all - hanging out for the 17th - blood tests and start synarel same day (all going well) - then my own little TWW to see the specialist again to start on injections ready for IUI.
BW - i can sympathise with your frustration at your "non" cycle on clomid - i've not had a "normal" cycle ever in my life - including on clomid! i've had to have AF triggered every cycle for the past 12 months - and after anywhere from 2 to 7 months. hopefully your appt this week will put you on the right track. for some reason i was thinking it was wednesday - maybe i'm trying to skip days so my next appointment comes more quickly!
Willow - good luck on Thursday - i've heard the injections aren't too bad (well, for people like us that aren't scared of needles anyway!) - hopefully it's the start of your last cycle ttc and you'll be telling us all about a BFP in the very near future!
well, must away - have been painting (yet again) and going to just relax a bit tonight. i'm loving renovating the house (hubby wants it done asap so that it's all finished in case we get a BFP - can't possibly have me working if i'm UTD!!) and seeing such massive changes, but i'm seriously starting to have nightmares about paint pots and brushes!
