Well me - i'm still waiting :rolleyes:. I went to my accupuncture appt on Fri - she said my tongue looked dark like AF was coming then gave me a long (awsome!) tratement and said my tongue had lightened which was strange??? She said if AF hasn't arrive in a few days to test again. I'm not sure - i don't feel anything - no signs at all :rolleyes: I just want something to happen - even if it's AF arriving so i can crack on and start again! Anyway so i'm in limbo land! (i'm CD 29 today - not sure when i O (or if i O'd) - for those who don't know me!!!)
(P.S i just looked at my tongue in the mirror and it's very pale??)

Well I had a hcg beta blood test today. I am feeling so crook but still bfn on the hpt. Im sure Im not pregnant but we are all hoping (including my awesome doctor). I may have the results tonight, but probably tomorrow.

Mabello do you have to wait till Tue for results due public holiday mon? Damn that public holiday!!!:doh:

Bella hope you had a good time away with DH. My acupuncturist said she didn't think I was pregnant...and unfortunately was right.

Sadly I feel like Hillary Clinton. I'm outta this race. Like her I was hanging on by skin of my teeth, but my cramping today is constant and getting worse, bad enough for panadol and hot water bottle. oh well much :bluedust::pink-babydust: to one and all left who are still :pray:.....will keep an eye on how you guys go. I'm off to my parents for dinner as DH is working tonight.:(

airline: No luckily its always a maximum of 24 hour turn around time. My gp was gunna text me my results so im hoping he rings up for them before he finishes tonight at 7pm :pray:

Thanks for all your replies.Went back to work today after my 2 days off and am feeling so exhuasted this afternoon....I was falling asleep at 6.30pm. So unusual for me.Anyway am trying to stay awake to finish off things for hubby's party on sat...Poor fella he's outside cleaning up the garage to help!

Girls, I was just wondering if anyone got tired and had to go to the toilet more than usual after taking clomid? Sorry if it's to personal but i have been weeing heaps and have had to get up during the night for the last 5 days which is out of the ordinary. It's kinda off putting but funny at the same time when i turn around in the loo and find 2 dogs and a cat right behind me following everywhere i go at that time of night...lol..gotta love the furkids!

Babymonster - I always go for a pee loads in the night but haven't noticed it happening more often since clomid.

Help! Just a quick question - does anyone know if you have IUI, does it have to be on the day of O or before O?

BabyMonster- Welcome. Stay positive. I hope the clomid works for you. i went to the toilet heaps at the end of 1st clomid month. I was going a bit pyscho looking for AF's arrival. It turned out I was UTD. This could be a good sign for you.
Mel- Thanks for the inspiration.
Bella- still haven't really decided what to do about the clomid. It's tempting because I have 2 months supply just sitting in the cupboard. I was going to wait til next month, but anything can happen between now and wednesday (CD5).Will keep you updated!
LouLou- I am CD2. I have until wednesday to decide if I do the clomid or not. Doc told me to take CD5-9.

well guys, my doc texted me last night and said my results won't be in until today. But he is not rostered on today :( And I told him I dont want to go in there and be told the news by someone else(especially if its bad news)

So Ive asked him to ring for me, and then text me and let me know.
no af again this morning...still heaps of cm but lots of cramping. PLeeeeeeaseeeeeeeeee give me good news today god! :pray:

For all of you that temp chart - i'm going to start this cycle - i was wondering if i need a special thermometer or will any do?

Bella - you need a BBT thermometer (digital are best) - don't just use a normal one. Have a look on the Lullaby Conceptions website, the one they have there is the one I have. I bought it at the chemist though as it was cheaper.

Join up with Fertility Friend too. Basically, you need to have 3 hours consecutive sleep and then temp at the same time each day. I take mine at 6am and at the weekend, I set my alarm for that time too. The good thing about the BBT thermometer is that it has a memory so you can just go straight back to sleep and log it on Fertility Friend when you're ready to get up properly.

So sorry AF arrived - GL with the next cycle, Fertility Friend will help I think, it made me feel a lot more confident and in control. Big hugs to you. Have some wine :hug:

Lou lou gave you perfect advice. I got my thermometer at chemist too, and I set alarm for 7.30 every day. I found charting fascinating and now (sadly:rolleyes:) have started my second cycle chart. Fertility Friend website is great.

Hi All, Haven't been around for a while but sending :goodluck2: to all those in the TWW. Well, for us the third round of clomid plus first round of pregnyl (HCG) injections resulted in a BFN!

We have decided to take this month off and as part of that will probably try to stay away from the computer as I'm trying for a psychological break as well as physically from the medication. Had bloods and an internal scan today to assess ovarian reserve "egg timer test". We will try clomid/pregnyl again in a month or two but I think we will end with IVF which is currently planned to start around october.

Hope when I next check in there have been some BFPs

Drgirl, thanks for popping in. I understand about staying away from the computer for a while. I go through phases, but now I'm on it soo many times a day if I'm off or alone. I feel like a sponge wanting more and more info, but since AF arrived 2 days ago,I've felt quite low and introspective.

Mabello, sorry it was a -ve bt. How frustrating. If AF arrives for you, then you Bella and I may have same ish 2ww again:hug: It sure helps knowing that there are those that 'get it'.

Quick 'me' update - I am having a scan this afternoon to see if I O-ed. If not, I'll have IUI but I think I may have. Strange that my temp hasn't gone up much though as it is normally through the roof on O day.

Princess - welcome. I don't know much about Met but clomid is working for me. What does the met do? Good luck :hug:

Well my scan showed that the follicle is still there so I haven't ovulated. I was given the trigger shot to bring on ovulation.

DH has to takes his swimmers in at 11am tomorrow then I collect them at 1.15pm after they've been washed, take them to my FS and he does the IUI. Let's hope this works... :pray:

hey LL,

metformin is a drug used to help insulin resistance which is though to contribute to PCOS.

some people get BFP's on this alone.

hopefully we can all scoot out of this thread and into a bellybuddies one soon:)

hi Girls,

I thought I'd just update my situation at the moment. I decided to skip clomid this month and wait to see what the doc said.

I went to see the doc today and he sounded pretty positive.He decided that I don't need a HCG scan at the moment. He wants me to go two more cycles naturally. After the ectopic my AF came on 29 days. He said the preg hormones can kick my body into gear and that's why I seem to be more regular. If I don't get UTD and my cycle becomes irregular again, then I will start clomid again. So for now I am on temps, CM, ov pain & opk alert, ready to catch that egg.

Bella- GL with the temping. I've just started up again too.

Sorry haven't been around this week but have been flat out with work and hubby's 40th party. Well I had my blood test on fri and sorta got the results this arvo. I'm a little confused as my doc said some levels were up and other levels weren't as high as he expected so he wants to do another bloodtest this fri....all too confusing for me and am feeling really down in the dumps as not sure whats going on.

I hope all you girls trying this month have some much needed luck! We have to get some more BFP!

babymonster, sorry to hear you're down in the dumps. watched brothers and sisters show tonight....last week ended up sobbing when kitty talked about her feelings re. falling pregnant, and this week, felt a little sad again. DH seems to be working nights on my nights of at the mo. bummer. anyway, how's everyone else going?????? someone must hav positive news.:D

Babymonster - sorry to hear you are feeling so down. GL for the repeat BT .. wonder what the doctor meant??? Did he actually give you your results as in a number??

Me - not much happening, working night shift ATM :(. I have had alot going on lately.. my mum has been unwell and they found a mass ?ovarian ?pelvic she had a specialist appt today.. they are hopefull it's NOT cancer as first thought. It will need remmoving but it was a bit of a relief to hear. I'm CD8 waiting for some signs that clomid has worked ... hopefully i O soon so about to start BDing again :dance:!

Theres not much positive news in here ATM ... but it's nice to have friends to vent to who understand!

Uhh I hate night shift. I was on night and dh was on days when we had to bd for a week...made the expierence so romantic...lol...it was like nudge nudge, wake up you have to go to work and i have to go to bed! Ahh the things we go through for a bub...gotta laugh.
I have the 2.5 dogs on the bed with me this arvo spending some time with them.

Hows everyone been? Boy isn't it getting cold...our cat is climbing under the doona early in the mornings to get warm the last couple of days. Well I go for my second bloodtest today so I'll know on monday if the clomid made me O....maybe I might get a BFP...here's hoping and crossing fingers and toes! :pray: I do have a question for the ladies who know a bit about clomid...has anyone suffered from heartburn and have moodswings after finishing clomid? maybe i'm just pmsing but i got a bit ferral at dh on wed night when we went to the drive ins.It was so silly of me but i got upset that he bought himself an ice cream and didnt buy me on...as he put it "you dont eat ice cream". which is true.ahh i seem to be getting upset at the silliest of things the last week and a bit.

well i just got back from the docs with my test results. I'm wondering if anyone can help me interpret them. these are day 21 bloods LH 47.9, Progesterone 1.6 and oesterdiol 1102. The doc changed his mind and didnt do another blood test as we are seeing the FS in 2 weeks. So confused as to whats going on!!!!

Hi baby monster. According to those results, you havent ovulated yet. Progesterone level of 20 or higher normally indicates ovulation. LH is the lutenising hormone you get before ovulation so I would say you are about to ovulate.

Sorr never heard of esterdiol before.

My post from the other day has vanishe? weird! Just saying I feel this cycle is gunna take forever.I am only on cd8....boring....boring....waiting!!!!

I'm on CD17, got what I think was a +ve OPK, but have been bding anyway every day! Had my acupuncture today, and overall we feel very positive. Had gyob appointment, and this was my last cycle on clomid then we're going natural for a couple of cycles, before trying FSH injections - with or without IUI.

Felt pretty down when AF arrived, lasted 3 days, but I'm on the up part of the cycle, where I feel positive and happy.

Have decided to get another focus, as I was spending wayyyyy too much time focusing on IF and researching and reading constantly so have started scrapbooking. Really enjoying it.

Well i have taken some annual leave from work so off now until Monday week - just needed some mental health time. I'm not at all positive with this cycle - we BD a few good days but also missed out a few - so much going on. I know i have Oed but not sure when - couldn't keep up with testing because of my shift work :wall: DH and i have decided to do our last cycle of clomid next cycle if it's BFN then take a break before moving onto injections - DH said he would take me to Thailand!!

Bella... I hope your mum is doing well! I will be going for a bloodtest tomorrow as AF hasn't shown up yet and my doc said he will do a preg test.We see the FS next fri as to what way we go next.

I guess I'm just waiting on AF to show as i thought she was here the last 2 days and kept running to the toilet to check. Have a bit of cramping today but nothing like i usually get and my BB are'nt sore like usual either. Has anyone else had problems with their cycles after clomid? I'll probably get Af tomorrow before i go for the BT but at least we can start on the clomid again for one more round until we get further instructions....I'm back in a positive mood.

Hey Bella...where're you gonna go in Thailand?? We went to Koh Samui last year, and hope to go again this year. I happen to work for the national airline, and felt I should go experience it!!! The people are lovely, very genteel, the food gorgeous, and the beaches fantastic! We had relaxing treatments every day as it was soooo cheap...massages, manicure, pecicure etc!

We are cycle buddies...according to FF I ovulated on CD 17 and it's CD21 today. We did everything possible, and it turns out I had acupuncture on CD 17.:2ww: now.....

LSK thanks for asking about the scrapbooking. It's going really well, I've done a page on one of my cats, two on a family friends' day out hot air ballooning, and now two on all 3 of our cats. I've got a whole list of themes I want to do.

Feeling good, quite positive...but more wary than last month if that make sense. fingers and toes crossed....may the days pass quickly - but we still have fun too!:hug:

Ive been MIA for a few months, just feeling bit down this week. Its coming up to a year TTC, and just found out another family member is Pg, that makes it a total of 7 that have fallen in the year we've been trying :cry:
So sorry im so so happy for them, seriously i am. Just totally jealous!
At least the clomid isnt affecting me as much, but only allowed to have 2 more cycles of it.

well this has been a very confusing time for DH and I....As you all know our doc didn't think we ovulated according to our 21 day BT...well I'm on cycle day 38 and POAS this morning just to check...It came up BFP! We are still in shock as we were gearing up for our second round of clomid and seeing the FS this coming fri. Can this be true?
