Thanks, Michelle. I'm guessing then that I'll still be ok taking two tablets in the morning and two in the evening. Sounds like I'd be ok to take all 4 at once, but when you consider all the other tablets I take, splitting doses makes it easier for me.

I think it's funny that of all the information I've gathered on metformin that until today I didn't really know that there were two different types of it at all!
