Hi BW, I'm glad you're booking in to see your FS again. Personally I really think they need to give you some straight answers, this is your body and your emotional state and you have every right to demand exactly what they think is going on.

I am so sorry that you are having such a nightmare, all of the bleeding certainly does not sound normal and they should be talking to you about it.

As you may know my egg quality is poor and so I'm seeing an acupuncturist in Mosman, Kaye Gartner, once a week. She's put me on tablet form Chinese Herbs, as well as zinc (I'm a vege - zinc non-existent!). She wants DH and I (he's also getting the needles) to try her treatment for 3 months as she reckons this is going to improve my egg quality, so hopefully the next pick-up will be with good quality eggs. Anyway, what I am trying to get at, is, Kaye recommeded a book to me "The Infertility Cure", I read the intro this morning and ended up in tears over my cereal! It's written by an American woman, a medical doctor who now practices in Chinese med and acupucture. She talks about infertility being non-existent and what it actually is, is an imbalance in our hormone levels which need to be addressed.

Maybe you should consider (if you haven't already) acupuncture to balance your body, and then embark on the ivf? I know you are eager to get started, but after going through a few cycles myself, I am now at the stage where I am trying acupuncture to assist the ivf - and not to replace it. I do have faith that the ivf will work!
